BREAKING: Richard Allen's defense attorneys say hair found in Abby Williams' hand does not match Richard Allen's DNA. That has never been made public before.
But during our interview with the sheriff days after the murder he told me and @RayCortopassi
on LIVE TV they had DNA.

Law enforcement then asked us to remove that information from our website saying the sheriff was speaking without full knowledge.

This was 2017 days after the murder. Check @FOX59 for new and breaking details all day.

This video on YouTube shows the best representation of where "BG", Richard Allen, Libby and Abby were on the bridge in the timeframe right before the kidnapping and killings happened.

There are only six platforms on the Monon High Bridge. The bridge is shorter in length than I assumed and the sounds of running water in the river is louder than I imagined it would be.

Video timestamp: 00:00

This is a view from the very beginning of the Monon High bridge looking to the other end.

Platform One is the first platform to the right.

February 13, 2017, just before 2:00 p.m. Betsy Blair saw a man (who matched BG from LG's cellphone video) standing on platform One. This is also the platform that Richard Allen says he walked out onto to look at fish after arriving at the trials at 1:30 p.m.

When arriving at the bridge Betsy Blair turned around and headed back in the direction she just came from. Halfway between the bridge and the parking area across from the Mears' farm she sees two girls (who she believes to be Abby and Libby) headed to the bridge.

The view Richard Allen would have had looking down at fish from the first platform. (Right side of bridge)

Video timestamp: 0:35

The view of the opposite side of the bridge while standing on platform One.
Looking in the direction of where the girls' bodies were found February 14, 2017 0.2 miles Northeast of the bridge.
(Left side of bridge)

Video timestamp: 2:45

View from where Libby took the Snapchat picture of just the bridge at 2:05 p.m. This is in between the second and third platforms.

Libby's Snapchat picture of the bridge at 2:05 p.m.

View attachment 537924

Video timestamp: 3:35

The view that Libby had standing on the third platform while looking back and taking the Snapchat picture of Abby at 2:07 p.m.

Libby's Snapchat picture of Abby at 2:07 p.m.

View attachment 537942

Video timestamp: 6:05

View looking toward the end of the bridge next to the fifth platform. In LG's cellphone video, BG is seen walking slightly ahead of the trees in front of the fifth platform at 2:13 p.m.
(Video timestamp: 6:30 ish is approximately where BG was walking when Libby filmed him.)

View attachment 537951

A still frame from Libby's cellphone video of BG captured at 2:13 p.m. BG was heading in the girls' direction near the end of the bridge.

View attachment 537957

Video timestamp: 8:00

The approximate view that Libby would have had when filming BG. Libby was probably somewhere between the end of the bridge as shown here and the last platform (platform six) seen to the right of this picture.

#NEW: A few additional updates from the second and final day of jury selection for the #Delphi double murder trial.
- Richard Allen was again in court today. He wore a blue long sleeve button down shirt and khakis.
- The prosecution and defense again gave insight into their strategies based on their questions to potential jurors.
- The prosecution’s questions focused heavily on what evidence a juror may need to be convinced someone is guilty.
- The defense focused heavily on the concept of innocence and constitutional innocence.
- There will be no court proceedings on Wednesday.
- Jury will be sworn in on Thursday morning.
- Also on Thursday, a hearing will be held to decide if the jury will be able to see composite sketches used throughout the investigation. The prosecution made a motion to block that this morning.
- Opening statements are still set for Friday.
