I'm sorry and maybe I'm old school, but I'm only 43 and if my child were just murdered, I wouldn't even think to get on fb to update my status. WTH. And how are you able to see this anyway? I can't see anything on her wall and I'm logged onto my fb. TIA.

It has just been made private in the last hour or so.

Dis anyone answer?

Lemmom was Tarah's father (who is Aliahna's mom).

We don't know who he molested but he was convicted in 2006 in Allen County IN

Is this the grandfather the 🤬🤬🤬 was supposedly taking care of?

I haven't seen SF's name in print either Dr. K.

I haven't read where it has been said exactly who is residing in Tarah's home.

The wheelchair matches up with a photo either backthread or on the other thread where I saw what I assumed was the Mom's home and it had a ramp in it to the side for wheelchair access. Don't know if Tarah requires one all the time or does since her flu or if the ramp was built for someone else in the family or was already there when they moved in. JMHO

Somewhere on here today, God only knows where, I read that Tarah was taken to the hospital when they told her about her daughter. Maybe the media took that photo when they were wheeling her out to the hospital. I would imagine she may be suicidal. Maybe she has been since Shorty died. She needs therapy so someone can teach her that it's okay to dance on his grave and praise the Lord. I get the unconditional love and all that, but sorry, if you're in my family and molest a child, unconditional is right out the window, no matter what your relation is to me. SICK.

We are very close in age and I couldn't imagine giving press conferences, let alone be concerned with my FB page. I never understand why parents are castigated for a lack of media presence when their children go missing.

Cooperating with LE is another story. But I can't imagine I would be able to coherently express ANYTHING to the media or social media were I in this nightmare.

But that's just me.

Yes, I agree--Nancy Grace was very genuine in her emotions tonight. I watched the video link, and I feel that she did a great job. It made me cry--couldn't help it. What a beautiful little girl. Law enforcement did an amazing job with this case.

OMG, me too! Right at the end. Three days ago I wanted to throttle her - tonight I found renewed respect. I realized that she IS the only person on earth covering these cases. I think the impact of the timing triples the emotion. Like JonBenet - the most joyous time of a child's life, and they are horrifically murdered. Impossible to comprehend.

I've been sleuthin' high and low and ran across a link to AP photos of Tarah the mom. I can't copy them but here's the link. If it's a repeat, my apologies.

If it doesn't come right up, type in "Story Fort Wayne Indiana" it brings up a picture of Tarah and the step grandfather D Story. Tarah is in a wheelchair, crying heavily. Does she live with the step grandfather or Ailahna's step father? Or both? I just haven't even read the step dad's name I don't think nor heard a peep or seen a picture of him.

I believe D Story would be Tarah's step FATHER and Aliahna's step GRANDPA. Tarah's husband's name is Allen.

I think maybe that is what is so sketchy about her unwavering defense of MP. Did she know him in FL? Are all of these folks somehow connected by some nefarious network?

I also asked earlier about a possible connection to Jayme (I spelled it wrong before) Souder in IA. He is the boyfriend who was molesting his girlfriends 3 daughters for 2 years with the mom's knowledge. Until the oldest girl took herself and her sisters off the school bus and told her teachers they weren't going home and why. This all happened earlier this month.

Tarah Souder lived in IA until very recently, no? Seems an odd coincidence, but then sometimes that is just what a coincidence is.

Tarah's last name is Souders not Souder according to her FB.

BBM

Look closely at the photo of Tarah in the wheelchair. She is at the vigil and is holding a candle.

I didn't see her FB pages, but I would venture to guess she didn't personally "know" most of her "friends". To update her page today is clearly a cry for attention....IMO

Then I am sorry.

I KNOW I read in one of the articles that "Souder's children...." and the name caught my eye, since one of our WSers has been updating a story on the other crime.

Again, I should know better than to run with some MSM spelling of a name. Or anything else MSM reports, for that matter.

No problem, FrayedKnot. Who knows what's going to transpire from this tangled web . . . it's getting sticky. It's like a network of sorts (IMHO)

I can't even let my mind go there .... or think about the grandmother knowing her husband was a child molester...and the three little girls that stayed with them.

It's what raises the little hairs on the back of my neck; how inter-connected all of these people seem to be.

Pure speculation on my part, but all I could think of was a child 🤬🤬🤬🤬 or molestation ring. My bourgeois, uneventful upbringing cannot invent another reason as to why any mother would allow her baby girls around her pervert father or his felon buddy.

I am confused, where did Lyle Moser come into the picture and why was Aliahna's last name Lemmon? I can see the bio father relationship with the Maroney last name and the Mother, who is remarried to AS. I don't see the Moser connection or why her last name is Lemmon. Is Lemmon her mother's maiden name?

Yes. Tarah Lemmon is her maiden name. Looks like A had both her father and mother's last names.

Lyle is the father to the 6yo so he came into the picture after A was born. A step father figure, not sure if they ever married.

Thanks, KrimeKat. I think if we got solid facts, not open to interpretation, it would be easier to pick apart the info.

I'll keep wishing, lol.

Tarah Souders, mother of 9-year-old Aliahna Lemmon, pushed in a wheelchair by step-grandfather David Story, reacts in front of a memorial outside of a mobile home next to Michael Plumadore's residence Tuesday night, Dec. 27, 2011 in Fort Wayne, Ind. Plumadore, the neighbor who was babysitting Lemmon when she went missing last week, will be formally charged with murder Tuesday, a heartbreaking turn for the girl's relatives who considered him a family friend. (AP Photo/The Journal-Gazette, Swikar Patel.

This is a heartbreaking photo.

I'm not defending the mom or her choices. But seeing this photo brought back a time when many of us relied on someone we trusted's word on whether or not someone else was worthy of our trust. I think back to the days before the internet. The days before I found WS and started following various cases. In the 80's and 90's I could have easily been someone who took the word of a close trusted friend or family members word regarding someone I hardly knew or had concerns about. I have. Many times later, I learnt that trust was not something I should have given so easily. Fortunately I never found myself with similiar consequences for misplaced trust....

In reality she is a young mother, (fairly young imo). She probably trusted her grandfathers word, and perhaps trusted that as she had seen he had not re-offended. Maybe she even believed he had a better idea of these offenders because he himself had offended and been in the prison system. Yes, it was costly. Yes, this is the most difficult lesson she will learn in her liftetime. A lesson I wouldn't wish on anyone. Because as a parent, I wouldn't wish the pain of losing a child on anyone, at any age.

This photo just really really saddens me. :(

I am right there with you, neese! And I'll be 43 in a few days . . . it's so funny to me how people are on FB all the time. We know BOTH sets of parents have been playing FB games for over a week now due to the lack of privacy controls they had their pages set prior to today.

Jump start Happy Birthday!:cupcake:

I maybe update my FB page every few months, more when I have pics of a trip or something to post. But I don't play those games or annoying polls.

Again, we are maybe a bit older than the typical FB user, but also, I refer to my child on FB by her initials, and that is with all my settings on private. So even to my own real life friends and relatives, she is referred to in 'code'. Never her whole name.

I am going to admit I am curious as to why we aren't hearing more from other extended members of TS's family, to shed some insight as to why or how this horrendous situation even came about. There are other siblings/relatives that could have shared in the care, in some shape or form, of the deceased father/grandfather. We are not privy to that info currently, but knowing that for some reason TS felt she had to be there in that trailer park, unfortunately put her children in danger. And I truly wish the scenario could have been avoided:(
