I'm getting the same impression, although I've seen no definitive information about Ciera being XB's attorney. We know XB has been in court MANY times with his known arrest record, so IMO it's a possibility that Ciera represented him at some point. According to this website, Ciera is known to practice law in these fields:

Ciera Nichole Locklair

- Business Law
- General Practice and Trial
- Insurance Law
- Employment
- Governmental Liability
- Products Liability

Since Ciera is listed for 'General Practice and Trial' then she may have possibly represented him in an earlier trial. However, based on what we know at the moment that is JMO, not fact.

Here's the paperwork: 1/5/21 She was representing him in a Family Violence Ex Parte temporary protective order. Then later the plaintiff filed a motion to convert the temporary order of protection to a permanent order of protection. After that, the 7/29/21 notice of conflict letter was filed.

It's making that claim. I wonder, though it's not sleuthable, if the victim was able to get a protective order against Ciera. I would assume the victim's counsel had proof of their claims if she did.

Did they get the date wrong? 2020 vs 2021? Even if so, she had to have been seen many more times before going missing at the end of Feb. She has a 5 month old.

As for the dates--December 2020 sounds right for the surveillance video, based on what was filed in court by the plaintiff the following month. But clearly that wasn't one of the last times Ciera was ever seen. It's 2022 of goodness sake.

Volunteers are coming together at the Johns Creek Police Department on Friday at 10 a.m. to canvass the area. They will be asking people and businesses if they saw Ciera, Xavier, or the car they drove to Georgia in.

This is the first time a text message on Tuesday Feb 22 FROM Ciera (or someone else using her phone) is mentioned. Something must have happened on that day or she was cut from communication. According to another article, all three Ciera's phones (work, personal and burner) were found at home.

Agreed, IMO the reporting on Ciera's disappearance has been "messed up" in several media reports.

It's unclear if the phrase 'It’s one of the last times she was seen alive' indicates someone has physical evidence to support his, or if that is just poor/inaccurate wording by the media.

We're getting several indications of domestic problems between Ciera and XB, which was suggested, but not supported, earlier in her disappearance. If I'm understanding all of this (please correct me if I'm wrong) it was reported that Ciera asked her father if she could move in with him during her visit there. We also have this statement:

I do not know XB or anyone in this case, but from what I've read in the court documents and in the media, nothing would surprise me regarding his words or actions.

It is strange about the clothes. Since they lived there, he would have had access to her closet. If he was making up a story, why would he choose something so totally unseasonal to say she was wearing?

I really want to see his timeline.
