IN IN - Ciera Breland Locklair 31, last seen in GA, POI husband Xavier Breland Jr, Carmel, 25 Feb 2022

(Shelby Campbell is Ciera's cousin) [snip]
“That is completely uncharacteristic of her to go radio silent or to disappear,” Campbell said. “There’s no chance she would’ve left without her child. She never would’ve walked off without her phone or her wallet or her card or her baby. She wouldn’t do that. She’s a very devoted mother. She worked from home so that she could be home with (her infant son) at any time. She just never would’ve done this.”
Given this kind of information it seems very much out of character for Ciera to be willingly out of contact with her son and her family for this long.

"Most of the family has accepted the worst. We know what happened. We are hoping Ciera gets justice and we won’t stop until she does," Locklair (Ciera's ex-SIL) said.

Ciera Breland disappearance: Former sister-in-law pleads for justice
This is what I have suspected all along. No receipt, and no video evidence she was there. And she didn’t have credit cards with her during the alleged visit to CVS.

From the article:
There was no evidence she arrived, no receipt, no surveillance video, her family said. They added there was no evidence she actually even made it back to Indiana.

Left behind were her cell phones, ID, credit cards, and the couple's 5-month-old son Jackson.

On the same day that Xavier Breland said his wife, Ciera, went missing, the Coweta County courts were revoking his bond on an aggravated stalking charge filed by the Newnan Police Department.

According to court records, Breland had an arraignment on that charge on Feb. 23. The next day, a bench warrant was issued for his arrest and by Friday, the court was working to void his bond.

Timeline of Ciera Breland's disappearance

So he had a court date in GA on the day he was supposed to travel back to IN? Did Ciera's disappearance have anything to do with the court case in question? Was she still acting as his defense lawyer?

So he was a truck driver. We need to know more about him; where was he living for most of his adult life, what routes did he take while trucking?

Just for the record, according to Doxpop, most of the driving offenses in IN are the older Brelands'.

Other than statements from XB, and IMO these are unreliable at best, I'm not aware of any evidence that indicates Ciera was in Indiana after the trip to GA. We know she was not seen entering the CVS store, and AFAIK there have been no sightings of Ciera from neighbors or others in Indiana.

As was mentioned earlier in the thread, Ciera's alleged CVS trip, if that was in fact where Ciera was going, doesn't make sense.

If she was last seen between 10 and 11:00PM walking to the store, it's unlikely she would have arrived at the store before it closed for the night. Also, it was reported her credit/debit cards were left at home, so if she intended to buy something she would have to pay with cash. IMO this whole story that Ciera would walk to the store, between 10 and 11:00PM, in the winter, wearing t-shirt and shorts, without her credit/debit cards or her phone(s) really makes no logical sense.

We still do not know for a fact that the clothes found behind the CVS store actually belonged to Ciera, or that she was wearing them then she allegedly made this store trip.

Another question: When was the last time anyone at her Indiana law firm had contact with Ciera?

It was mentioned in one of the MSM reports that Ciera typically worked at home to be near her 5-month old son. This makes sense, however it would also suggest that Ciera would routinely be in contact with other people at her law firm each workday. The question is, after 20 February did anyone at her law firm have any contact with Ciera? If so, when?

IMO it would be logical to expect that if Ciera arrived back in Indiana she would have had some contact with others at her law firm. AFAIK nothing has been mentioned about this.

There's some inconsistent info in MSM about the last time Ciera was seen or heard in/from Georgia. One news article claims that Ciera talked to her cousin on the phone on Monday 21st and replied to a text on Tuesday. In another it is stated that she left her father's house on Sunday 20th but her cousin's text on Tuesday went unanswered (nothing is said about Monday). So far, we only have confirmation that she was last seen alive on Sunday 20th at her father's. We don't know if and when XB's Georgia relatives saw her after that and when she and XB left for Indiana.

Husband of missing woman has history of stalking, according to records

[...]
Winne found loads of documents of interest on Monday which contain serious allegations against Xavier Breland involving another woman, stalking and more. Some of the time it appears Ciera Locklair was his attorney. “She was not a family law practitioner, and you could just see that she was in a bad spot having to defend someone that was not a nice person,” attorney Donato “Dan” Palumbo said.
[...]

Not that it matters now, but I'm curious how Ciera became XBs attorney in the first place. From what I've read Ciera typically dealt with business law rather than family law and criminal cases like the ones XB was involved in.

SBM. She might have started representing him when they were already in a relationship. I'm sure he would be glad if he didn't have to pay for a lawyer.

Interesting explanation in the comments about the video of Ciera and XB in his ex's apartment: FOX 5 Atlanta

Locklair (Ciera's cousin) said family members have told him that in late February, Ciera had planned to return to Georgia and move in with her parents, without Breland Jr.

“Actually had her stuff packed to move back in,” Locklair said.

Family says missing Indiana mother was ready to move back to Georgia right before she disappeared

Wouldn't XB notice that she packed all her stuff? Did she bring everything with her from Indiana on her last visit?

According to the article, she also had a dog that she would never leave behind. The dog is now with her cousin.

In the new John Lordan's update video on Ciera's case he mentioned XB was involved in the trucking business while in GA. A quick search using his name returns several hits.

I am glad that the baby and the dog are safe.

I can't fathom what was she doing with XB in his ex's apartment in December 2020. How did Ciera justify it?

The landlord let them in to "get his belongings out". The case was dropped because the LL let them in.

I think unfortunately he either read a text or found out that she was going to go back to live with her family. These controlling types will not allow a wife their freedom. Perhaps after visiting his mom, he found out that she didn't intend to head back "home" with him and he made sure if "he can't have her, noone can". These cases make me so terribly sad! She looks so very young!

Just catching up.

I mean, if she was seen at 7:17pm in Johns Creek Georgia, it's not even physically possible for her to get back to Carmel by 11pm to leave the house in shorts, is it? That's only four hours.

Was the weather in Georgia warm enough for shorts on the 24th?
