IN - Couple charged with abandonment of adopted child after legally changing her age, Sept 2019 #2 *not guilty*

I read it in the previous thread.
Hi, I’m the one who said the “immigration” investigator died. I read that somewhere. I’ll try to find the link for that. BUT I need to clarify, the officer who said the other investigator died, did NOT say nor imply that his death ended the investigation. He said that nothing came of the investigation but other than that did not know all the particulars. He mentioned the guy dying to explain why he could no longer find out all the particulars.

It's be pretty hard. Delusions, hallucinations and disorganized thinking/speech don't go well with being a successful con artist. Petition claims N. actually was diagnosed with schizophrenia? She seems to show no signs of that.
Yes the petiton claims she was a diagnosed schizophrenic. I guess she's been miraculously cured since they got out of her life /eyeroll

Anyone know if Susan Schofield's daughter was ever actually diagnosed with schizophrenia?

I believe she was officially diagnosed, yes. But who knows if she actually has it. There are quite a few questions about that case.

"It’s unclear who or what exactly drove authorities to remove the children from Susan’s custody, but it occurred shortly after the latest Dr. Phil video aired. “They believe that Susan was exaggerating Bodhi’s symptoms because she believes he has schizophrenia,” Michael wrote. “As for why they took Jani too, I was told it was because she was giving Jani Thorazine and because of her negative influence on Jani.”"

What a lovely young lady!!!
Yea, and if that is a 30 year old woman, she deserves an Oscar for convincingly preforming as a teen girl.

How anyone could mistake her for an adult is beyond me. Her voice. Her face. Her manner of speaking. So teenager.

Just a normal, sweet kid.

Holy hell that’s a train wreck. She lost the kids. Right? Poor kids probably just had some autism and that but turned them into bloated vegetables from the ever increasingly powerful meds.

Another Munchausen type. Reminds me a bit of this case in some aspects.

Even if there were behavior problems—it’s normal. By the age of 6 she was in a ton of homes. Her own biological mother even said she, herself had mental problems (sorry for “mental problems” don’t mean it to come across as a slur, just can’t think of right term)

This can be put to rest now, “but she attended adult school and was able to do the work”
No. She went for FOUR DAYS until the school notified authorities

She attended 2 different schools. Excel-Yes only 4 days and they reported to the police as near as can be determined because she looked younger than her ID. LARA—I’m not sure how long she attended her. This is in LaFayette and the school the elderly neighbor also attended.

it says it all that Kristine's friend only speaks anonymously and won't show her face. If she was so sure what she was saying is true why is she hiding? Coward.

The school swears she was an adult? source please. That neighbour seems very eccentric, not to mention about 100 years old. I don't think she'll be considered the best judge on the matter compared to all the professionals on the witness list, somehow.

Yes when I saw the schizophrenia diagnosis in the petition I thought of the Schofields. I can only take so many child abuse stories at a time so I haven't done a lot of research on them but I know Susan somehow managed to get her hands on one of the most dangerous schizophrenia medicines for her kids even though neither of them have schizophrenia. I assume it was prescribed rather than bought illegally/fraudulently because it went on for years. Kids are doing better now without medication so if they were diagnosed it was a mistake/malpractice.

What her neighbour actually said;"I'm not sure how old she was, but she had to be at least 18. She was old enough to go to LARA. She had to be over 18." she said. "She didn't seem worldly enough to be 30 now. I think it must be something in between. ”

I highly doubt representatives of LARA are going to testify she was definitely an adult with all this overwhelming evidence to the contrary. They'll probably say they believed her to be an adult based on what Kristine told them at the time. Kristine signed her up at the school so of course she would have told them a load of BS preemptively about her having a growth disorder and a mental delay or pituitary condition or whatever that made her look like a child and she's super sensitive about it so don't bring it up yadda yadda and I'm sure she acted like the perfect, loving, concerned mother the whole time as usual. Why would they question that? When Natalia shows up 3ft tall and looking like a child they're not going to interrogate a disabled student about her condition are they? Just like she lied to the doctors, lied to the court, lied to the readers of her book, lied to the Daily Mail, she lied to the people at LARA too. But when Natalia goes to a new school where Kristine hadn't been laying down the groundwork they pretty much immediately call the authorities.

"This is adult ed. We cannot have anyone under the age of 16," LARA teacher Meg Foley told Insider. "Anyone under 18 must be enrolled by a parent and have written release from the school they came from."

The school Natalia was attending before entering LARA was a home school (it was called something like the Summer Oaks school?) run by...wait for it...Kristine Barnett.

Remember, though, that LARA was After her age was legally changed. So legally she was over 18
