There’s also a photo of her standing by a lady whose given her a flower which appears to be at Disney. So she could stand. The mother knew that.

And why didn’t she bathe her the first night she had her? The article sort of suggests she didn’t right away.

I know what you mean. Comparing your body or mine to Natalia's there must be differences. Even if you don't look at breast size, her face matures. I would also put some stock in the tests that gave her an age around 8 and 11. I have a problem the Barnetts would let someone dupe them and keep their last name. If they rented an apt for her and something happened there like an accident they could be liable. If they really thought she was a con artist why put themselves at risk?

And why not seek to undo the adoption?

I have no doubt he or both of them travelled to and from the US after dumping Natalia. They’re Americans. They just moved there for the son’s school.

Video clips I have not seen before of Natalia while she was with the Barnett’s

Pay close attention to the one - she appears much older in it.

With so much talk of weight gain, I’m thinking of Natalia let herself gain some weight she looked much older, perhaps she carefully monitored her food intake as to not gain weight.

The video of her talking, and the other of her standing fully clothed in the bath, are both from her new foster mother’s Facebook, not from her time with the Barnetts.

Mrs Barnett said he had a passport with all the stamps. That’s why I said she has a ton of corroboration if all of what she said is true. Multiple hospitals, doctors, social workers, passport, phone bills, therapists communication with all sorts of agencies. She said the Mann’s dealt with a team of professionals and were advised to stay away from Natalia-
My point is why would she claim all of this - and a HUGE file mentioned in the linked article if she’s lying?

I have never heard of anyone but a disturbed kid appearing at the bed with a knife, openly trying to poison a parent, smearing blood or feces on walls (unless totally psychotic), trying to drag an adult into danger like an electric fence out of nowhere (that’s one strong person with dwarfism, BTW), or attacking babies or other children the minute someone leaves the room. That’s the kind of behavior that matches with ODD or conduct disorder.

Adults with anti-social personality disorder are different in their behaviors. There are impulsive rage attacks but the smearing of bodily fluids? Attacking a baby the moment someone leaves the room? Openly standing there with a knife in an ominous manner and admitting to wanting to kill a family member or admitting to trying to poison them? That’s more typical of kids with those issues.

By the time they’re adults they’re either out of control and are incarcerated (the less intelligent rage types) or they learn to be sneaky, cunning, manipulative and aren’t open about their desires to harm others:

And if that’s what Natalia was like I have no doubt they were taking her to all sorts of doctors and psychologists and hospitalizing her. And eventually perhaps trying to find the best way to get out of the situation.

In that very same interview she later went on to say how Natalia quit answering the phone and then she got a letter in the mail changing the beneficiary of the SS from Michael to someone else. This is a huge contradiction. If the SSI was supposed to help support Natalia on her own, why were the checks going to them?

There are way easier ways to ditch an adopted kid. Perhaps Mrs. Barnett would rather be the martyr...the drama & better storyline... for her next book.
But I find that a hard pill to swallow.

Nope. The Barnetts claim she had pubic hair, and that later Kristine found her hiding bloody clothing at some point after they took her home. We have no evidence of what happened before they did so.

Michael originally states that he knew she was a minor when they left her. He only changed his story when he had an attorney advising him, and the attorney states that his “remarks were taken out of context”.

Kristine has also been shown to be an unreliable narrator on a number of occasions.

Even if you believe Kristine, 20% of girls have pubic hair by age 8. The WHO lists the stresses of international adoption as a causal factor of precious puberty. Right alongside her disturbed behaviour, it’s all coherent with her original birth certificate and the other Ukrainian paperwork being correct.

Interestingly they didn’t find that in kids adopted from Korea.

I don’t know about you, but my breasts have change - ALOT- over the years. Everything has. The human body is never stagnant it’s always changing. Changes occur differently for every individual. Some people look 50 when they’re 30 for example. I had AA breasts in highschool - they were a C at age 25 - I didn’t get fat, I simply filled out and grew breasts & hips. Some girls had D breasts at age 12. Everyone is different. But everyday we live, we age and we change in appearance.
I don’t know all of Natalia’s medical intricacies or how they may effect her growth & aging and frankly neither does anyone else on here. MEDICAL EXPERTS have decided she was an adult. There was a consensus.

Can you link to the medical experts, please? The affidavit that has been posted here has two separate medical examinations that determined that she was considered 8 in 2010 and 11 in 2012 (Probable Cause Affidavit) based on the doctor (Dr. Rigg's assessment and a further skeletal study in 2012). I am seeing 2 examinations that point to her not being 22 in 2012/2013.

Yeah, I'm not willing to take "Kristine said", "Kristine claimed", "according to Kristine" etc., as the sole proof. I've known many a person who bulled their way through a set of lies by simply keeping talking. "Never at a loss for words", is no guarantee that the words are true.

This, IMO, is exactly the way that someone would behave if they suddenly decided they wanted zero responsibility for someone they originally offered to take responsibility for - try to make that person out to be the crazy problem.

I also reject the theory that the deputy's affidavit isn't good, as there would be legitimately no reason that I can think of for the deputy to lie or misrepresent what happened; and if that is the case anyway, then why and when do we ever believe the testimonies of law enforcement?

Frankly, I'd like to hear from the doctor in question, and am looking forward to doing so long-distance at the trial. I assume he'll be subpoenaed to show up; and I am there for it.
