I started this case full of enthusiasm and had to beg on other threads to get people to look at it. I think because of the thread title people assume it's a parent and child or a custody issue, they don't realise Diamond is developmentally disabled and we realistically have TWO children missing here. Either that or maybe the police suspect foul play and are watching and waiting?

The family were out driving through town in the early days searching for them and yelling their names through a loud hailer. Yet there's nothing. I feel miffed with the police, the media, the community and a little bit with social media (including us!) for not getting this case "out there". Think about all the other missing toddlers we've had since last July: DeOrr, same month, just started thread 21. Lonzie, Noah, Rainn, Kyrian. Little Titus a couple of days ago, way more posts in 2 days than King has had in 7 months.

It's crazy.... what do we do about it?!

It is crazy. The thing that frustrates me is that there is literally no trace of them. There's just nothing to go off of [emoji852]

If Diamond walked off with King, they wouldn't have gotten far. They had no money, nowhere to go. If someone picked them up or housed them, surely they would realize something is wrong or have seen the posters and tv coverage early on. So I'm leaning toward foul play but nothing really to go on.

I'm stumped. And I'm furious that these two have vanished! It just can't be. I wish I had an answer.

I agree with all of you.....this is so strange. It's different because of the fact the two of them disappeared without a trace, supposedly together.They would have been spotted together. The circumstances seem likely Diamond would have been noticed because of her challenges, and her needs, etc. King would likely have been spotted if he had separated and was wondering alone.

Foul play from the start?
It's outrageous there is not more pressure to solve this from everyone in that community, social media, msm, etc!!!!!!!!!!

We don't know what LE have or haven't done. I'm more interested / frustrated by what the media and social media haven't done. That includes us. I don't get why we have 1000's of posts on some missing kid cases but knack all on here. How do we get it out there?!

Oh, I know what you mean. And a lot of babies and children who are murdered have virtually no comments on their threads... No one to demand justice for them. No one seems to care. But another similar case will have multiple threads and hundreds or thousands of comments. Some cases just grab the attention of people and others don't, I guess

A story about one of the specialty trained dogs used in the search for Diamond and King back in July. Nothing new about them in the article though.
I hope law enforcement, fbI has some idea of what happened here.

This case has always got to me. I don't know why the police & families are not kicking up & making more of a fuss. Getting more media attention & getting there names & pictures out there. I see this case as an extreme priority. I wonder if perhaps the police know more information & just can't release it which would explain the lack of interest.

It's Diamond's 22nd birthday today, and there still seems to be no trace at all.

This is a heartbreaking case. Two innocents out there, and I do believe that someone knows where they are.

What a wonderful present it would be to all of us if Diamond and King were located -- maybe even with friends or family members that are keeping them on the down low for some reason we don't know about. I know it's wishful thinking, but it's all I got...

It's mind-boggling to me. Every day there is a post or two in my FB about these two. They still do family searches here and there so my guess is flyers are up. The community has to know about it still -- I'm a bit away in Chicago so I don't know for sure.
Somebody would have to know if somebody had them no? My guess is they are close by just well hidden, even accidentally. But if they are not with us anymore and it was not accidental -- which is where I lean -- it had to be more than one person, right? I go around and around with this one.

I, too, am amazed there is not more coverage of this. I would like to see a separate thread for both, as I think it's unlikely they are still together and someone might recognize Diamond.

Looking over the poster, Diamond is a very short person. She could pass for a child, particularly if there has been some weight loss these past months. What is the sex trafficking like in Gary, IN? Is this a possibility?

Idk. They can't be alive because diamond is very distinctive. Idk why both would be deceased though. My feeling is ppl in Gary will not talk to police. Much of Gary is abandoned structures, I think they are hidden in one.
