In Fairness To Cindy

Not snarky. (I am in a great mood as tomorrow is a holiday!)

31 Days is a large part of the reason I have never trusted Cindy. The rest came with her lying to LE about the date of the video and the attitude she took with YM early on about visiting with her father that particular day. Cindy told YM (which he did testify to on the stand) that she would no longer cooperate with LE if they pursued checking out the sign in sheet or involved her father in any way. This was a huge red flag for me and she has not stopped waving it since.

KC is the one who involved Cindy's father in this by not coming clean with the truth from the first.
It's not law enforcement's duty to cover up the truth - it is their duty to find the truth and to verify it. That is all they did.

She was just playing her cards to protect her father. Every little thing gets so blown out of proportion. Emotions run so high. The Sate of Florida will get Justice for Caylee Marie Anthony. And you know it.

I completely agree with you! Here's one of her first "media" interviews for those who might not have seen it:

Eeek!

I surely didn't mean for it to be taken as a "Pro Cindy Thread".
I have the same feelings as most do for the entire family.

I just wanted to get everyone riled up on a boring Sunday. Not really :)

I guess at the moment, I am just hurting for her as a mother & grandmother; despite what has happened. I'm sure I will be mad as he!! for how she is by tomorrow.

I agree how horrible she has been from the very beginning, and believe we reap what we sow.

Wow Sin seems to have a lot of people snowed.

As for the post saying she has all the symptoms of grief that listed such things as:
Diarrhea
Constipation
Withdrawn
etc...some how could you know this and most of the others I have not seen because it seems an act with her acting these ways and others is smiling and acting smug.

I have relatives much like the Anthony's. They gave their children everything but, play games with their children instead of correcting them.
I have a cousin whom has stolen his parents cars,

Sold the furniture in the house while his parents were on vacation and had a party with the money because he was grounded.

Parents have mortgaged their house 3x over because he stole his parents identity and bought things. (One time was when they paid off his girlfriend not to press charges when he beat her)

Bought a new BMW and Motorcycle with no job, charged it to his parents and wrecked the BMW and sold the motorcycle. He hid the car at a neighbor's house.

Tells everyone he is a famous DJ on myspace even though he
is 30 or so and has NEVER worked one day as far as I know

Spent his college tuition money on prostitutes and partying
at Myrtle Beach then left 1000's in damages to the hotel for
his parents to pick up

Physically and verbally assaults his parents

Just much more, it is unbelievable

When a crime he has done to others comes up, he is being falsely accused and being picked on. His parents will even try to convince the rest of the family of this even after they complain that he does the same things to them. They will say, "Oh he's a good kid." "He didn't beat up his girlfriend!" Even though a week earlier they will say he beats them and has anger problems.

What I see from him is that his parents made him this way, and I see this with KC as well. Actually, he will tell you straight up that he hates them because they are so stupid to let him get by with the things he does. He has zero respect because he believes them to be foolish.
As much as it kills me to say this  Because I am no way a fan of A's:crazy:But no one made KC a killer she did that all on her own.So with that said is it the parents fault there children kill or become serial killers

Given this entire case from the beginning Cindy certainley hasn't been looked at in a positive light. We have been mortified and angered at her for her behavior during this entire nightmare.
Yes, she really missed it big time in the parenting of Casey. But after the Aug. 14th video was released, I am beginning to see some things different. I saw a desperate, heartbroken, woman. It was one thing to see the real Casey, but I couldn't keep my eyes off of Cindy. I could, as a mother myself of a disturbed, wayward child, (not a lying murderer) somehow relate. I was hearbroken for her. I pray I never have to go through what she is now, and will, for the rest of her life.

One thing in particular that has been bugging me is the chili incedent. I've read several posts about how Caylee did not like chili, but Cindy fixed it anyway for Caylee's 3rd Birthday and we all thaught that that was odd.
Actually, Cindy fixed the chili for Caylee because she did like it to there suprise. Shirley P statement to the detectives said she fixed chili, but fixed her a peanut butter & jelly sandwich because they didn't think Caylee would like it. But, she did; she just didn't eat alot because she had eaten alot of popcorn at the nursing home. I know that thats not a huge thing, but it seems that Cindys motive for fixing Caylee chili was misinterpreted a little. I believe it was actually a loving gesture to Caylee.

I'm just wondering...does anyone else have any thoughts of where we have been perhaps a little to quick to take Cindy (and George) out of context?

I think CA is a gullable enabler, who has the misfortune of believing she can tell if her daughter is lying by looking into her eyes.
I think she was told LE was out to get KC, and was more concerned about that than finding Caylee, and she believed it. What the world saw had it's roots in that belief.
When KC starting the game of JG had Caylee, and maybe did something bad to her, CA was relieved imo, because she didn't think JG would hurt Caylee either. So she was able with all this to lie to herself, and swoosh away the physical evidence, for her own sanity.
CA was unhappy from emails from her mom, and Caylee was her sunshine and her joy. Now that Caylee is gone, not much matters anymore.
Time will help her deal with the knowledge that her daughter is guilty, she already knows it in her heart.

It is a very good thing for her to stay away from the media. i hope she isn't watching the news. I think she should go back to work, or move out of the state and find a new job, imo the latter is preferable. She should also involve her life in helping children to aleve her unfounded feelings of guilt. After having a daughter like Casey, she deserves to start over and have as nice a life as she can. I pray she can. That's how I feel about CA. I got sucked into the LE is only out to get KC myself, and I don't even know her, so how much more would her mom get caught up in it. I thought the report from Tenn. about the car trunk was inconclusive and thought maybe Caylee was alive after all, for a minute or two, and she isn't even my grandchild. Yes, I think many people did not put themselves in her place and have compassion. Honestly if I look at KC's tears very long, I begin to doubt the things I've even heard about her being a sociopath. So, imo, she is very good at deceiving people.

I'm sorry Radio, but "playing her cards to protect her father" doesn't quite cut it for me when her Grand-daughter has been missing for over a month. It would work for me if I wanted to skip out on a dinner invitation but not if my Grand-daughter's life was in danger.

MOO

I think Cindy has been a mean spirited, selfish, hateful woman her whole life. Bad things happen to bad people too. It does not matter to me what kind of person she. What does matter is the fact that she has lied to the public, she has lied to LE and she tamperd with a crime scene. For that and that alone, I have no sympathy for this woman, PERIOD!

I think they have been more than fair not to slap handcuffs on her. In fairness to Caylee and the justice system, I think they should do just that.

How about "In Fairness to Caylee"? Where was KC taking her for over two years? Why didn't her "loving" Grandmother have a clule who the babysitter was, what she looked like, how to reach her? So...Here's a scenario. KC is supposed to come home (from "work") at a certain hour and, low and behold, she doesn't show up! She's HOURS late (uh, maybe she gets into an accident or something like that)...Who does the "loving" Grandmother call?

I'm sorry. It's late. And these discussions are starting to pizz me off. How can these people get away with NOT HAVING A CLUE as to where, who their Grand-daugther was with day-in-day-out for TWO YEARS while they left her in the care of a daughter they deemed to be a lying, thieving sociopath?

Is there something wrong with me here?

Nothing wrong with you PINK!! You made the point I've been trying to make all day and made it better! A nurse and a former LE officer. Statement that Casey was a sociopath. My point was the same...why did they not love (love is a verb and requires action) Casey enough to pursue help if they thought that? Why would two professionals who would know the consequences of leaving a helpless child alone with a sociopath (CA words) continue to do so? Why in the world would we try to justify such behavior?

On my way in here I could have sworn this threads name was In fairness to Cindy.
Balance is neccessary on the subject, imo. I see how divided we became on the Alive Caylee issue and I think it is important not to go there again. We have all seen the same sides of Cindy.

There is nothing wrong with you at all. Her parents were both professional people. (one a detective) How could they not have a clue.

Maybe thats why George is no longer a detective. He was not working but He thought his daughter was. Didnt he see her when she was sitting on the couch? Or pass her car when he was riding around town?Run in to her when she was shopping at targets?Didnt he drive home a car that he told Police he was afraid Caylees body was in the trunk, cause he has smelled that smell before.Yet instead of calling the police he got in that car that was smelling of death and drove it back home. I guess Cindy made him to it.:furious:

How is that protecting her father :confused:Maybe CA just wanted them to take her word for it and was upset because they wanted to check it out. Or maybe it was because she didnt want her dad to know:confused:

Well, check out the Lori Hacking murder.

I totally agree, I feel the same way. I'm glad you posted this, thank you. Sometimes I feel like whenever I say anything kind about Cindy, I come under fire.

Seriously - if a lot of you want a Caylee thread ... do it. Nothing would be wrong with that.

If you are ever attacked personally just alert the post. If someone challenges your opinion, that is to be expected.

Tomorrow shiv? If 5 months of this carp hasn't made you mad, you won't be mad tomorrow! Bless you. :)

Was she really trying to protect her father?! Or was she trying to protect Casey already? I believe she didn't want LE snooping around the nursing center to find out about the fight she had with the grandparents (her parents) involving the bank account money Casey had stolen, imo.

What difference did it make if they asked Cindy's parents when the visit took place and they verified it if there was nothing to hide? She should have welcomed it to get to the bottom of when Caylee in fact went missing, but instead she took the attitude of "you do not need to know and if you ask...I won't tell you anything else!".
