Found Deceased IN - Jacqueline Watts, 33, Columbus, 3 March 2017

At 8.30am found her body on a sandbank an hour after police started searching the area.

No further details...

They only said she was found at 0830 on a sandbar in the river. Nothing else was really said.

Honestly he didn't give any details at ALL except that her body was found on a sandbar. Wouldn't answer someone's question about how far from the running car was her body? Brief.

Beautiful woman and obviously from her facebook page adored animals. She had dropped off her two dogs at her in-laws and had just dropped off her rabbit at her parents place which is close to where her car was found running with the flashers on.

I think if there was any evidence of foul play it would have been stated...even if they weren't ready to release details.

Sympathies, shock and condolences on SM but no talk of justice or catching a killer...

The animals had all been dropped off already and she was supposed to meet back up with her husband to fly to Washington D.C.

Oh how sad. I'm not sure what to think happened here. They don't really make it sound like she'd been murdered. The car running with the passenger door open is strange..

Where was her car found exactly, anyone know? Totally guessing at scenarios - maybe she ran through this wooded area towards the river to help an animal, maybe she fell and it's an accident? I would bet some of these houses nearby have security cameras. This is horrible.

I'm in Indianapolis and thought I recalled that there was a police impersonator pulling people over in Columbus not too long ago and sure enough:

Following this thread. I was disappointed to find out that J was found just off 65, same major highway as Libby and Abby.

J seems like a lovely woman, obviously adored her family and her boxers. Praying for her family as I can't imagine what they are going through.

I listened to the PC. The police didn't say that--they said they didn't know how she died.

Do you know she had car trouble? I thought I saw that the car was found w/ 4-ways on, but don't recall anything about it being disabled.

No, I don't know that's the case. I said IF her car broke down. That's the first reason I could think of for a woman driving alone pulling off the road. But, I would think she'd call her family before accepting help from a stranger since her parents lived only a block away.

Next thought would be LE impersonator, which some have already mentioned. But, whatever happened, it happened very soon after Jackie left her parents' house.

My condolences to Jackie's family and friends. I hope there are surveillance cameras in the area that show what happened.
