Found Deceased IN - Jacqueline Watts, 33, Columbus, 3 March 2017

Where was her car found exactly, anyone know? Totally guessing at scenarios - maybe she ran through this wooded area towards the river to help an animal, maybe she fell and it's an accident? I would bet some of these houses nearby have security cameras. This is horrible.

Car was found at the 2300 block of Riverside.

From reading FB about her love of animals, I can totally see her running after an animal to try to help.

ETA: Looking at your photo compared to the map, the car was found at the bottom right.

Snip

Officers say they don’t know how the woman, 33-year-old Jacqueline Watts, was killed. A death investigation is underway.

BBM

This makes me think she was killed.

A video of the complete press release has now been posted and, if anything, it seems the LEO takes great pains to not use the word "killed".

ETA: the text accompanying the video does say 'killed' but I believe that is an interpretation by a fox journalist and not by police.

Still daylight when she was abducted.

A feasible scenario could be imagined if she still had the animals in the car and she reached across to open the passenger door to let a dog out that was sick/urinating and the dog bolted...possibly ending up in the river? With her following? But from all reports the animals had already been dropped off...

Found a sand bar in the river close to where the road was blocked as stated in the article I posted above--post #46.

She is my co-worker, and buddy. We're all worried. Such a sweet soul. Prayers she is found safe.

So sorry for your loss, buddhababe. Deepest condolences to all who knew and loved Jacqueline.

Tragic. So sad. I still hope authorities perform a thorough autopsy.

Prayers to her family and friends.

I'm a little surprised LE didn't say they thought there was no foul play, especially considering the climate in Indiana right now.

How could they do that without examining her body?

Is there a gas station between where she dropped animals off and where her car was found? Or a gas station in the area?

Oh my heart. This is so terribly sad. And the area, i.e. river looks so similar to the area where Libby and Abby were found. Not likely it's the same perpetrator since she was 33, but still so so horrible.

Well, it looks exactly like the area that Libby & Abby and Lyric & Elizabeth were found.

WTH

I agree about the age differential. I had only briefly heard about Jacqueline being missing, and came to investigate it since the proximity to the 2 girls murders is within geographical range.

Police said they are unsure of when an autopsy will be completed but said her death is “suspicious.”

Her vehicle was found in the 2300 block of Riverside Drive Friday around 5 p.m. The car was running with the flashers on, but she was not located. Family says Jacqueline’s cell phone and purse were found inside and the passenger side door was open.

copy cat killer perhaps? The Abby and Libby case could have brought out a person who wanted attention and fame. It has happened in other states
