Plead not guilty. $500K surety and $50K cash.
Trial set to begin on 10/19/21 Marshall County

Reason: Other. Jury Trial originally scheduled on 8/17/21 was rescheduled to 10/19/21 at 8:30am. Reason: By Agreement of Parties. Motion hearing re change of venue on 8/31/21.
8/31/21 Update: Re Motion for Change of Venue - Judge Steven Meyer will take the matter under advisement. Next pretrial hearing on 9/17/21.

Interesting. Starke and Marshall counties are north, closer to Gary, IN and South Bend, IN. I would think that moving his case closer to urban areas like Gary would be something that his defense attorneys would be in favor of. So I wonder if these are not new charges but how they notate it if the judge has decided that the venue will indeed be moved? Hoping MSM reports on this soon.

I think that's just an error for Chadwell. He has a hearing today but his county is not live streaming.

Hopefully @Niner can clarify when Poster is online again. It would seem a charge of murder in Starke County would have made headlines.

Don’t know…purely speculation but if a change of venue for a trial isn’t required maybe it’s because no future trial is anticipated….as in a plea deal is in the works.

Time will tell but given what’s been reported, surely no defence lawyer thinks there’s any chance for an outcome of a Not Guilty verdict.
