.......However, Wednesday, officers spoke with a relative of Lincoln Pickett's who said she had not seen him in about six months. He suddenly appeared at her house on the morning of Jan. 22, driving his red Blazer, according to another probable cause affidavit filed in court this afternoon outlining why the murder charge was added early this morning.
"Lincoln claimed he had not slept or ate in two weeks, and he was pacing and bouncing," the court paperwork states. "(The relative) reported that Lincoln had a Taurus gun in his pocket" that he then gave to the relative. "(The relative) then reported that Lincoln said that he shot a buddy in the face and then Lincoln told (the relative) that the girl he shot was in his Blazer."
Lincoln then told the relative that he, the girl and Jasmine were going for a ride when the girl hit Lincoln in the head a couple of times, so he shot her in the face. Lincoln asked the relative to borrow a vehicle. The relative then drove to Lincoln's house, the paperwork reports. On the way there, while stopped at a gas station, the relative saw blood splattered on the driver's side rear window of the Blazer. The relative continued to Lincoln's house, and upon arrival, Lincoln backed the Blazer into his garage.
