Does anyone think that while the manager and bartender were in the back room, someone came into the VFW and asked Kristy for a ride home, she may have figured that she would be back in time to meet the bartender? Someone she thought she could trust?

Good idea. Along that line, when someone who is local said they don't lock their cars, I'm wondering if someone was in her car when she went out to leave and asked her for a ride home. Or hid in her car and popped up after she got started on her journey to where she was going next.

Again, it could be someone she knews, someone familiar to her.

I think someone coming in when they were all in the back is a possibility.

I'm thinking that since she was such a dependable person, maybe when a friend (acquaintance) came into the VFW and asked for a ride, she figured she would just be gone a short time, thus didn't tell her friend or cleaning person she was leaving because she intended to be back before they were finished. I'm saying all this because I can see myself, of course in younger years, when I visited my neighborhood bar (hangout) I would have given someone a ride home and naively I trusted everyone. I really didn't know the people well just saw them occasionally in the bar, and of course now I cringe when I think of it, but one time, because there was an issue, when I told the police who the person was I gave a ride to, he asked where in the heck did I know him from? He was an arsonist. I don't think I ever gave anyone a ride again. OMG.

I think she would have let her friend/bartender know if she was leaving for a few minutes...

Also wondering what her work schedule is. Was this night her only chance to party? Did she only have Thursday nights off, so she wanted to stay out extra-late? I just cannot see why she would going on to another bar at that hour, if she had to be up early, never missed worked, is super responsible, etc.
It did not sound as though her Mom thought it was normal for her to stay out so late, Imo. This bartender was a newer friend? Wonder how well she knew her and her friends? Was Kristy trying to fit in?

Did anyone catch the tip someone just posted on the fb page? It was deleted and then the same person followed up by saying that they did report it but had been transferred to the Evasnville police line (nearby town) since that's where she lives. I went to high school with the tipper...wouldn't totally trust her to not just want to enmesh herself in this but you never know. Would like to know what she thinks she saw. Something about the car in her subdivision I think. Just wondering if anyone caught it before it was deleted.

I can't help but think she might have gone to visit with someone she knew, possibly a male friend / romantic interest.

That was actually said to somewhere, either here or the FB page i can't remember. She supposedly was overheard saying that she was going to meet somebody. Must not be any truth to it i haven't heard it mentioned again but you never know.

Jennifer Huston----Part 2

So if you think that, do you think she travelled far out of the way to do it so as not to be discovered or do you think she did it nearby and just hasn't been discovered yet?

I have no idea. I was completely wrong in the Huston case, thinking she had been abducted. The circumstances here are almost identical with the exception of a husband in the house.

When they found her 25 miles from home, her car hidden in a grove of trees, and had hung herself................I was floored. Completely.

At this point, I really don't know what to think.

Kristy has been working steadily since before her divorce and and he ex appears to have been steadily employed as well. She most certainly got child support. So, does anyone know why she and her children were living with her parents?

She would need them to babysit for her while she worked. I doubt she could afford a babysitter and a 2 bedroom apartment just by working at a CVS, unless she was the manager or pharmacist.

I don't see a suicide here. It's not the same as Jennifer H was - Kristy was in the middle of an evening out, and it was somehow abruptly interrupted. Doubtful that she planned out the evening such that she would leave abruptly, as in not even telling her friend the bartender that she was leaving. Not that I have any real idea of what I think happened.... I can say that in other cases I have followed at WS, if a person was last seen at a bar, the friends almost always claim that the victim was not intoxicated in the least... And it almost always turned out that they were. So I assume it is very possible that Kristy was as well. If the drive to anywhere else was longer or in less developed areas I would suspect she went off the road, or into water and hasn't been spotted yet. But in this case that appears less likely. An abduction seems truly hard to believe, unless she had a stalker. Even so, how would someone know she was alone at the bar for a brief time and was able to capitalize on that window of time. Hard, very hard, to believe. This one is a true mystery to me.

I checked pictures Kristy has commented on on Facebook and noticed that she has commented on pictures of diet pills and weight loss products asking for the price. She commented on a picture of diet pills asking about price just a few weeks ago. And also over the years she has commented on pictures of herself saying she needs to get on the treadmill and lose weight.

I see the diet pills advertised on facebook and local garage sale websites, for sale at flea markets, sometimes in salons. I have no idea what is in them, but it always seems a bit scary to me to buy diet pills from random people.

But anyways, it made me sad to see her comment on he weight so often. She is beautiful and does not appear to be overweight at all, but she might have felt bad about her weight for some reason. I feel bad even posting about it here, but it might show that she felt depressed about her self image. Or possibly she could have had a bad reaction if she did take some of the diet pills she commented on.

Don't feel bad. She was actually in a weight loss group so you're right, she had a goal of losing some pounds. You're right, she was beautiful and looked just fine in my opinion. But so common to feel that way after having kids since your body changes. It makes you wonder if she'd been taking any of those pills as mixed with alcohol could have some pretty bad effects.

Also, when I was checking pictures Kristy commented on on facebook, I saw that she commented on a picture earlier this year. There are 2 people in this picture and I am 99% certain that one of them is the sex offender that lives extremely close to the VFW. I am not saying that he is involved, but it shows that she knows him.

What about the possibility that she was in an accident, hit her head and had some type of amnesia? I also remember watching a show once with very similar circumstances where a lady got global transient amnesia.

Just curious what photos you are talking about? I can only see 5 photos total and 2 of them have kids in them.

Seems like she'd have wandered into civilization at some point in the last week if that would have happened. Or waved someone down from the high way. And then either recognized right away (her face is EVERY WHERE around here) or taken to the hospital and recognized there.

I do not think this case resembles Jennifer H. at all, even if somehow it turns out as a suicide, other both cars were also missing.
I think amnesia is very unlikely...it would not make her invisible. She should have been seen or located in a hospital by LE.

I can only do this from my computer and not my phone, but go to someone's facebook profile. Click on the search bar where it says their name and it will say "retrieving suggestions". Then a drop down menu will show up. It gives you the options to see all the photos the person have liked or commented on. Some other options are to see photos they have been tagged in, photos of their friends, photos of mutual friends, etc.
