GUILTY IN - Lt. Aaron Allen, 38, fatally shot, Homecroft, 27 July 2017 *Arrest*

He is not medically cleared? I wonder what that's about.
I wonder if a head injury has him out of it.
Or is he still coming off some really bad drugs?
Has the local news mentioned the perps injuries?
Just looking for an explanation for such illogical behavior.

RSBM

JMO... he was dealing.

I think so, too, But 13 bags in a quart bag? The bags can't be that big. How much is each one worth?

Doesn't seem like much to me, either. As was discussed on another thread a few weeks ago, I'm not good at drug math. And, not knowing how much was in each of the 13 bags?? Is a pound, likely? Is that even possible?

http://www.priceofweed.com/prices/United-States/Indiana.html

High Quality $334.03
Medium Quality $233.11
Low Quality I feel bad for these guys --> 402

'Just from what I've seen online... JB seems like a low level seller (wanna be gangsta).

All just big fat guesses here.

Aaargh. Grams, ounce, quarter. Have no clue.

A quart bag is likely a quarter pound or less... So between 3-4 ounces.... But.... if the 13 bags had eighths (most common size) then that's just under two ounces. But they could have been quarter bags and he could have originally had 16,which would mean he started out with a quarter pound (common dealer amount) and had sold 3

Thank you.
For some reason, I'm having trouble with the google finding answers to my questions on this case.

I'm still not 100% sure JB wasn't injured in the crash before he fired his gun, even though the media only reported the bullet wounds.
Those bullets must have done some serious damage, like badly shattered bone, or the bullet in his face nicked or went into his brain, for him to be hospitalized over a week. IMO

Have you heard anything about Brown's drug/alcohol test results?
I can't find anything.

I think, just by the fact that they were in separate bags means he is dealing. If it was for his own use, it would not be in so many separate bags. I called the police to my downstairs tenants once, because they were having a really violent domestic fight with a tug of war going on over a six month old baby.
The police found scales and lots of bags of pot labelled with the weight and one big bag (a few pounds).

With gunshot wounds, there's a high risk of infection. So, he could be fighting infection in one or more bullet wound. JMO

The only thing I've come across...

Reporters comment on tox screen in a video (in response to questions posted their FB page). I don't believe they are quoting LE... it's just their opinions.

Approx -8.03

Maybe there will be official comments by LE about this (and other things) after JB's in court on Thursday??

How much is each bag worth?
Varies but if it's good, $40-$50 for an eighth, about $75 for a quarter... The more you buy the less it is... Like generally there's a discount for buying more.

Obviously this all varies and I'm out west so it may be different over there. Some dispensaries have $15 eighths... But they run out quickly. And it also depends on potency/quality... Like there's usually 3 shelves at the dispensary and your more professional dealers... Top shelf being most expensive.

Eta: it really can vary greatly. There are websites which offer pricing information, such as budzu.com

His quart bag had 13 small bags. A quart is 32 oz? So if he originally had 16 bags, they would be 2 oz each. So about $1000 or am I way off?

He did not have a car before and now he has a 2004 BMW with personalized plates. A 2004 is probably still not cheap,

it is a very depressing thread for LE supporters. Here you have a heroic officer, crawling into an overturned car, that could catch fire at any time, and he is shot 14 times, for no reason.

It is very scary and depressing for those with loved ones and family members on the job. It increases the level of potential fear on the job too.

Yes, it is so depressing for those who support our police officers. I haven't been able to post anything until now once I saw the beautiful photo of the officer with his 5 year old son on his first day of school. Every time I think about it even now I cry more tears for this sweet little boy who will never see his Daddy again nor be able to hold his hand ever again. :(

Since Lt. Allan was murdered there has been four more officers shot and wounded in the line of duty. There will probably be more by the end of the day or week.

Yesterday I had an event of my own that made my heart freeze. I got a breaking news alert that there had been an officer involved shooting in our county where one of our grandsons is a Sgt with the Sheriff's office. I was shaking all over when I immediately called my daughter in law asking her if she knew if Drake was involved. At the time no one knew about the situation or if the Deputy was shot or they had shot someone else. She had already called him for she got the alert too and he had taken the day off but was being called in to assist with the crime scene. He had taken off yesterday because it was his fiancee's birthday and he had a big day planned for her.

The relief was so intense it also left me shaking like a leaf then I waited impatiently to get updates from our local news station. By then a neighbor had put up a video on the FB local news feed and the man who was shot had a large knife and you could hear the Deputy telling him over and over again to put it down but instead he charged at the officer and then he fired two shots. The man was injured but is going to survive. The neighbor who videoed it said if the man had been able to attack the Deputy he was ready to stop him with his own gun in order to protect the officer from being seriously injured or worse. Thank goodness there are still many good people who are more than willingly to help an officer if they see them in a dangerous situation.

I cant begin to imagine what it feels like for all of the wives, children, parents, or other grandparents and all loved ones of police officers who never know if it will be the last day they ever see them alive or worrying if they will be assaulted.

Life is so uncertain for our officers now and the most simple benign duties they do may lead to them being murdered or assaulted.

All I know is we pray for Drake's safety each and every day but the worry is always in the back of our minds even though we support him fully for honorably serving his community which is what he has always wanted to do.

Cops have been ambushed without even knowing someone was close by getting ready to take their lives. It isn't about the total amount of officers who are murdered, and killed, but its about each officer not ever knowing if it will be 'them' on any given day.

Its like putting deadly poisoned MMs in a large basket filled with hundreds of regular MMs and never knowing which one is tainted and which ones are not. It amazes me at the emotional/mental pressure they must endure yet they get up each and every day to serve and protect knowing all too well that none of them are immune and any one of them could be THE ONE who loses their life on any given day.

Prayers for the family of a wonderful police officer/human being who was cruelly murdered trying to help those in need.:(
