What if the Insanity plea works? Is unintentional murder cheaper? Also, as he is under 21, is he still considered a minor and the parents are somehow responsible for funding this? I don't fully understand that bit.

I am just wondering as I know some states are changing the law to age 21 before someone is tried as an adult. And a minor could not be expected to pay for a defence IMO. Just wondering at what age Indiana tries people as adults as it varies from state to state I understand.

Do we think whoever is paying for TJ's attorney believes he is innocent? I just can't see basically giving away all that money when the outcome is going to be life in jail anyway. Unless they are super rich I guess but I don't think that is the case. It seems pretty likely that he did kill RM from what we know anyway.

Also, where did the $150,000 attorney price tag come from? I just briefly googled and couldn't find anything like that. I did find this that suggested a $25,000 retainer.

I have wondered the same thing. They have to have more information then we do. This case from day 1 has seemed like there was more to it. Imo

TY for that. Vermont is one state that is transitioning to older ages up to 21 and some other states are considering it too.

Except this now states "Result: Commenced and concluded" though, which is probably why Boxer posted that update. We will have to see if MSM reports what conclusion was arrived at.

Next action is trial.
MOO defense will bring a lot of evidence that TJ was on an IEP and a history of depression.
Hope no one buys it.
MOO has little to do with MH, he just started taking drugs.
And like any druggie, and obviously from his restraining order thought he was more important than his target.
Literally millions of people are depressed or have a disorder at some time in their lives. Same percentage as non MH people kill others, if not less.

MOO - drugs are simply the most likely reason for a change of behavior.
It is possible he was always violent and went off medication.

Good point, that does happen a lot. This case has had my mind boggled since the beginning. Just seems like much more in moo. Why would SR start dating her recently x boyfriends coworker? Then move close to him. If she was scared of him and had a protective order. I still would be interested to know why RM would give TJ a ride home when he was dating TJ ex girlfriend. I wonder if TJ even knew they were dating. I would be curious to know SR background. Regardless it's a very sad situation for everyone affected. My heart breaks for RM and TJ mothers and family.

MOO Ryan Martin is dead. Talmadge Jasper killed him to deprive SR of happiness. I think it is that simple.
