In Session - Monday May 23rd

I think Court TV seems rather shady profiling JB and trying to get sympathy for his side. Why would In Session want a killer like ICA to get off by trying to garner some points for her side of the case?

Maybe they realize that the public has already tried the case and (I would say majority of people think she is guilty) regardless of what they show. Or maybe this is the only filler they can find in their broadcasting. He is so media hungry that he is the only lawyer in this case to sit with IS for 7 hours to give them a look inside.

I'm with you here Strawberry...and darn if my fingers aren't starting to go numb. At least they aren't hurting now...sitting on them for too long. Losing all sensation.

Fixed that for you! Mine are numb as well.:floorlaugh:

No this is about a reporter that covered Grand Jury every week for a newspaper and had a great rapport with prosecuters and was often given tit-bits that enabled them to follow up elsewhere (thereby never having to name a source)

Have a look back through reports on the chloroform ... look at the date of the first stories to when it was released publically. Nothing to do with Sunshine Laws (and God Bless them too)

I don't remember reading anything about information from the Grand Jury. Who was this reporter since the GJ is not public. So what were the tips. If this reporter reported them in the news we would know about it anyway. Seems to me the prosecuters would be in contempt of court to release ANY information. Can't imagine any prosecuter putting their jobs and future on the line. However if I were a reporter just reporting they had gotten some inside information would get lots of attention.

See this is why private citizens just do not trust the media. Only misinformation I remember we were getting was from LP and his "daisy chain". lol

This host on In Session is making me sick how is he cowtowing to JB. Whats with him????? Why are they doing this?? I feel like I should shut of the station but they are the only ones talking of the case today. I can barely wait til tomorrow!

JB: "Defense attorneys are the least paid in the profession and it is the most hardest job."

Well I have no personal knowledge of him not paying child support etc. My only knowledge is that he comes off rather bumbling when defending ICA and my knowledge that he defends her. But he seems to have a nice personality during this interview that In Session is doing. I wouldn't choose him for my lawyer tho!!!

Do a search. There's a thread on it here some where. :)

respectfully snipped and BBM :

Thank You to you, and the other posters here, who have the "stomach" to watch IS ... I just cannot watch them any more ... not good for "my health" :floorlaugh:

BBM:

As to Christy Paul asking how they can say there was an accident when there was duct tape wrapped around Caylee's mouth --

:cow::cow::cow: I believe the duct tape was done by ICA "intentionally" because Caylee said something to CA ... I know there was this alleged "fight" and ICA stealing money from the grandparents was an issue ... but I still believe that the duct tape was to shut Caylee up.

Casey Jordan's theory that after opening statements, CA&GA will have a glimpse of what direction the defense is going, and if the defense is going after them, they may "turn" on Casey.

:cow::cow::cow: The A's will "never" turn on Casey ... I just don't see it ... but of course ... I could be wrong.

I think that Caylee was old enough to talk back to Casey and to protest when Casey wanted to go somewhere or do something that Caylee did not want to do. I think Caylee preferred being at her own home with her own room and may have begun to act out when Casey would pick her up and say Let's Go.
Caylee may have cried and said I WANT GRANDMA, I WANT MY GRANDMA!
Surely that would enrage Casey.

"For eight years after he graduated from law school, however, the board....would not let him practice law." They wrote that his overall behavior showed, "a total lack of respect for the rights of others and a total lack of respect for the legal system..."

The Florida Bar is very stringent on who they allow to practice law in our state. When you go to law school they break it down for you what the Florida Bar will be looking into and investigating on you if you choose to practice law in Florida. You must be honest with every answer and detail that you give the Florida Bar. Every infraction, speeding ticket, criminal activity, debt, mental illness, etc. must be fully explained. Some of the factors quoted in this article for their denial of J.A.B. are:

1. Unpaid child support (a HUGE NO-NO)
2. Personal bankruptcy (another red flag)
3. Default on a student loan (need I say more)
4. Omissions regarding writing of a bad check
5. Entering a pre-trial program to avoid conviction

Um hm, that's why he drives a new BMW, has the newest IPAD, etc. Or wait, did the taxpayer buy all that. Things that make you go hmmmmm

A TOUGH 2 WEEKS!
I am losing it
I guess court isn't like her fun filled 31 days !

It wasn't the KC grand jury ... it was the normal grand jury that takes place every week. Reporters can meet with (usually) the assistant DA and get a run down of indicments handed down in the Grand Jury.

This reporter will remain nameless because I won't be dropping names.

I am sure if you google grand jury and a newspapers name you will have a weekly report. It makes the DAs office accountable.

I can understand why the public often doesn't trust the media - we live in an untrusting country. But one by one I intend proving people wrong lol (OK I jest lol) It wasn't misinformation, all reported ended up coming out as public information - that said, when I read the original story that hinted at it I cried 'sensationalism' ... ended up being true but the story was very unpolished. If I were editting that story I would have told the reporter to sit on it and get more information (but I am a cow like that) :)

Did he know it was Caylee????

I am sure he thought it was Caylee. He was a meter reader in that subdivision. He KNEW there was a missing toddler. He walked that neighborhood routinely, so it makes sense that he would be keeping an eye out for a place to put a dead body.
If I were him I would be looking for her too. He used to walk by that wooded area all of the time for his job. I bet he saw kids going in and out. That was the closest wooded, secluded area to the Anthony's home. So of course he would go take a look.
I think the only reason the cops never looked there is they would not imagine a killer would ever put the dead body so close to home.

I wished I could take a nap and wake up and it be tomorrow morning or click my ruby red slippers and it be tomorrow. I've never been this anxious towards a case.

Me either. Did you see where he thought it was funny that Mason is also a drop out and he called them the "Drop out defense". Not to knock on drop outs, since I am one, but it explains alot of his ignorance in this case so far. I'm sure there is much more to come.

Probably why KC felt like they were all kindred spirits. She didn't finish either. Just sayin'.....

JB: "Defense attorneys are the least paid in the profession and it is the most hardest job."

The class JB may have skipped during OJ's trial could have been English - Sentence construction. jmo

They are covering the case this morning.

Christy Paul seems to finally get it. She is asking how they can say there was an accident when there was duct tape wrapped around Caylee's mouth.

Casey Jordan says, if they want to go down that road - Casey made terrible decisions, and was so panicked that she made it look like a crime. That sort of trauma will be hard to get the jury to buy.

Beth Karas saying that GA & CA will have to be stoic to hear themselves take any blame. It will be difficult for them to do.

The prosecution will come out with guns blazing. They will show alot of pictures of Caylee. Was there fear in her eyes?

Tomorrow is going to be a very emotional day for everyone.

Casey Jordan has a theory, that after opening statements, they (CA&GA) will have a glimpse of what direction the defense is going. If they find that the defense is going after them, they just may "turn" on Casey.

bbm
IMO..she is Wrong..It's all about SAVING Casey...The A's will not turn on Casey :twocents:

I do believe Casey and the DT will in some manner accuse Cindy and George, not accuse them of killing Caylee, but will accuse them of Abusing Casey (emotional, verbal, sexual) in order to explain away her behaviours and actions.
:twocents:
I believe the A's won't to anything to defend themselves if it will save Casey.

Mike Brooks is talking about the public protesting area. There are boxes taped off where people will be allowed. They want to make sure that nobody is in any danger, at the same time allow free speech.

'Free speech zones' are marked for protesters at the Orange County Courthouse for the Casey Anthony trial.
