Inconsistencies in DB's Story

I am having a hard time assigning a motive to JB. So he's mad or sad about the breakdown of his marriage. How is kidnapping a neighbor's baby going to help him?

I don't think it will help him, but it may be a form of revenge. He is 'losing' his child to divorce, and his wife is sitting and drinking and partying with her 'best' friend.

I know that a lot of spouses BLAME their partner's best friends for the divorces. They think the friends talk chit about them, tell secrets about them, and try to talk the spouse into dumping them.

And he must have been kind of upset at DB that night, imo. He leaves the house, essentially possibly ending the marriage, and he was probably distraught. Then he drives around awhile, and comes upon his wife drinking and laughing on the stoop, with Debra and the new male neighbor. I think that would really anger him.

So his marriage is ending, he is losing the chance to live with his daughter, and he may have wanted to lash out and hurt DB just as much.

It has also crossed my mind to wonder if he was perhaps the sperm donor?

How does all these peripheral people fit in with DB/JI and their inconsistent stories?

That would be a first, in my book, if a friend's husband murders/steals a baby because he is mad at his wife.

Unless this guy is the elusive psycho/maniac/pedophile I left a little wiggle room for.

I suggest the partying took place @ SB's house...for the most part. I never bought them drinking on the stoop for four hours...l

I don't think he is just mad at his wife.I think he is mad at the baby's parents, especially the mom.

His own wife had a miscarriage, an affair, and then kicked him out. She spends all of her time partying with and laughing and gossiping with DB, and even may have met her new bf through her.

He may have snapped, been drunk and high on something, and lashed out in the worst most irrational way, imo.

Before any of you leave, can you tell me where SB lived? Across the street or directly next door?

At one point, I thought it could have been possible that SB's daughter was the intended target of a kidnapping. Now we're hearing that the 4 year old was not staying at DB's that night. I'm gonna guess that means the 4 year old was out of there before 10:30 pm but after 6:30 pm.

The next-door neighbor, Samantha Brando, was at the home before Netz and Bradley left. Brando came over with her 4-year-old daughter who played with Lisa's older half brothers. It is unclear whether she returned to her home or hung out with Irwin while Netz and Bradley went to the grocery store.

Brando left at about 6 p.m. to purchase alcohol for herself. She returned about 6:30 p.m. and her daughter reportedly remembers seeing baby Lisa in her crib about 6:30 p.m. when Bradley put the baby, who was battling a cold, down to sleep.

Unless he's a psycho/pedophile/ maniac, it is a crazy theory.

The worst most irrational behavior would be to kill his wife, not kill a neighbor's baby.

DB does a alcohol run @ 5:00pm and SB does another @ 6:00pm. What were they really up to that night? Why the need for so much booze JUST for two ladies. Both of these ladies have left out an important piece of the puzzle. I don't buy this story, not even a little bit. They were up to something. They were up to serious partying. All we need to know is with who and what the real reason was. It was just not the two gals as DB would like everyone to believe.

Jumping off your post--why didn't SB just ask DB to make a stop for what she wanted to drink that night..

None of their stories make sense. Why didn't she ask SB to drive her to get the booze? Why did Db have to call her brother to drive over there to take her to a store for booze (imo, the other items was a ruse) when there were two drivers sitting there? Why did Phil leave right away after dropping DB off at her house when SB was there and it looked like the girls were going to party.

When did the really all sit down for this homey family meal? Or was there a meal? And why did DB find it necessary to keep Lisa in her bed when SB returned from the second booze run? The only thing DB knows for sure is she put Lisa down @ 6:40pm. Lisa was allegedly in her bed @ 4:30pm also.

Why? Most of the stories are lies.

Since DB was at the store @ 5:00pm and SB was at the store at 6:00pm, when was the big family cooked chicken meal they had? SB never saw Lisa at the dinner table. That would have been mentioned. DB SAYS she puts her to bed for the night @ 6:40pm and is positive about that. Actually, that is the only thing she is specific about the entire night.

I have heard it was next door, but I am not sure!KCPI would know

The more I think about it..Lisa could have been gone from the home before 6:40pm. No one saw her at dinner and no one saw her after that. Exactly when was Lisa bathed and her pajamas put on her?

Maybe those runs were part of a disposal..

well -we do have the SB's daughter saying she remembers Lisa in her crib at 640-I think this was said in the people mag

If you've read my blog, you would know we've confirmed he's in the residence. That has no bearing. Stacey Graves with the KCPD has said she won't confirmed anybody has been dismissed.

I have been told the four-year-old was not staying in DB's house that night. I have that info first hand if it's honest.

We have no one clear suspect or there would be an arrest.

Ron, could you please clarify the bolded statement? Do you mean the child wasn't in DB's home the entire time the moms were outside socializing, that she was alone in her own home for part of that time? Did the women go back and forth some between the two houses during that time? Thank you.

Convenient that SB has a four yr old who reportedly saw Lisa in the crib. I wonder when that was. Does the four year old wear a watch?
