Inconsistencies in DB's Story

And yet in the Ayla Reynolds case, LE did ask the public for help. I guess that case is not home grown, right?

I don't know much about the Maine Case...just my gut reaction in the first week was the father and GF know what happened. I didn't follow anything the police were doing/did.

Since they didn't lawyer up, LE had many more options.

Not if you didn't know it right away. Not if you thought that she may be at the neighbors house.

What exactly do you think they could of done in 15 minutes time? And then, why wait 15 minutes? Why not 30 minutes or an hour?

Yes, WHY? That wouldn't be enough time to do anything.

I've always found it interesting that JI visit to SB was left entirely out of the 10/31 People magazine hard copy edition.

Did the going to SB's house to see if she had Lisa really happen or was it made up?

Which brings up another question in my mind. Why did SB wait for so long to call her husband and tell him about the missing baby next door? She called him the next morning really early. But why didn't she call him when it was all first happening?

RR said he knew about this (from DB) for some time, which to me would mean before Dr. P. So you can't say they just figured this out now.

Their story changed. RR talked to DB between the last time they told their story to media and People, and the Dr. Phil show.

If LE isn't satisfied with when the family last saw Lisa, i.e. thinks they are lying, then wouldn't they go OUTSIDE the family to check on a last reported sighting? Not letting the public know there is a discrepancy in the "Lisa was last seen" timeline wouldn't make any sense. LE would essentially be saying "Well, we have no confirmed sightings of Lisa after Sunday, so let's just sit on that."

...and you don't think that statement would be met by, "MY Clients have seen them and told the LE that they saw them, LE is lying"? At that point, they will start a lawsuit on LE (which is what they are going to do eventually). That is where the money is. This is what the Aisenberg's did. The got a cool million from the city police for accusing them and a brief arrest.

That case had cooled of many searches for the truth...and Joe T/Joe P. are defying KCPD to do the same thing.

Exactly! LE has not asked the public for help because they know this crime was home grown. The answers lie within the family. They know that and they want to question them some more and the parents are resisting.
No they are not asking for help as to when the baby was last seen because it has been answered. Probably by multiple people stating the same thing. They are not questioning if the baby was seen or not that evening so they must be satisfied that she was. Otherwise they would be asking.

Are you really serious? Oh no, LE investigating a missing baby would NEVER want to have clarification of when the child was last seen, they might get SUED!
:floorlaugh:

15 minutes is a VERY long time when you baby disappeared. Most people would be dialing 911 in less than a minute.
then people would be asking why so fast. They would be adamant that he knew she was gone before hand.

Yes, WHY? That wouldn't be enough time to do anything.

When you come home and your baby is missing, you call 911 and then go to neighbors. 15 minutes is an extremely long time to wait to call. Your baby is missing and you walk to a neighbors' house? GMAB! You call 911. What was DB doing besides writhing on the bedroom floor. If she was this upset, why would JI go to a neighbors and not call 911 first?

NO, you don't wait x15 minutes. I bet we will come to find out it was longer than x15 min and he was minimizing the time.

I think the better question (think it was asked earlier) is how did RR get access to DB, enough to talk about things like her drinking that night?

Did I miss where Jim said he didn't have access to DB?

Seriously how many of you would wait that long if your child vanished from the crib? This is not a missing watch or bike, for Pete's Sake!

The neighbors have stated (on taped interviews no less) that this is what they woke up to that morning. Just another point that just because it isn't in the magazine does not mean it didn't happen.

She was being questioned by LE for a while first. She was kind of busy with that. Plus she was mad at him in the first place.

They had NO lawyer in the first days to make that statement. LE has NEVER asked for verification as to when she was last seen.

If you were going to purposely stall and not call 911, then why didnt they just wait until later in the morning? like 7 am or whatever time they normally got up. If both of them are in on any coverup, then they could have just called 911 several hours later and said "I just woke up and went to get my baby out of her crib and she is gone!" That would give LOTS more time to conceal evidence, get their stories straight, etc. Why call at 4 am?

Because then JI wouldn't have a solid alibi, he HAD to call relatively soon after getting home in order to avoid him being a suspect.

(ftr, still hanging on by my fingertips to the fence)

Bull Carp, she just texted him of her love and she would kiss their child goodnight for him. She said she loved him.

She should have called him as soon as JI arrived and before LE. This was big news and it was important for him to know. Also for LE to know. She should have offered him up and she should have been there before LE tracked him down.

I'm wondering if she had company with her...at the time. It is very strange she didn't contact him till 6:00am

Where was SB's daughter during this time? As a parent, I would be afraid that there is a psycho running loose in the neighborhood, breaking into homes and stealing children. I would think she would call him, if for nothing else, to watch their daughter while she was being questioned by LE.

I don't know why the 4:00am call. I don't even know why JI had to work so long that evening/morning. Quite the coincidence though
