Question: If sex was done and he had carried her bags down to her car and she testified that she was dressed while taking shower pics, why does she have clothes to change into? Certainly she didn't leave the house a bloody mess? Or did she?
I don't believe for a minute that she left the house a bloody mess as she says. I think she left cleaned up and in fresh clothes. She is trying to portray a crazed woman in a "fog" that suddenly comes to on a dark highway in the desert and discovers she is covered in blood. It plays into her 'fog' story.

Good morning everyone!

CNN had a segment on JA last night, guest attorneys mentioned that they have never seen a defendant on the stand for such a long period of time, I believe they said she has testified for 18 days..

It seems she will be testifying some what longer, jurors have 64 more questions and counting, Nurmi and Juan will have to direct/cross her on those and Juan is not yet finished.

It would be nice to read/ post all her lies and inconsistent statements while on the stand on a sticky thread, there have been many. Does anyone know how to request a sticky thread from mods on here for 'JA Lies/Inconsistent Statements on the Stand'?

I'm worried about this jury. Have to say it. How long are they going to keep asking questions? Until they get the consistent, logical answers they need in order to acquit her? Haven't they figured out at this point that she will never tell the truth?

And back to that infamous "camera" question, what a stupid question! The juror knew her story didn't make much sense so she or he asks Jodi for more information to make sense of it. But even if Jodi agreed that he could have picked up the camera, that DELAY would have given her ample time to bolt out the bedroom door -- making her story implausible both ways. I pray that juror is cut. :furious:

I think it was a trick question. Possibly by the same juror who asked JA why they should believe her now after all the lies. Who knows, huh? I do hope we have 12 intelligent and devoted-to-the-truth jurors who convict her of first-degree murder.

I saw the show too. 64 questions and triple the lies. I wonder when the questions will be cut off. With each and every answer she gives she builds upon her lies and more questions are asked of her. I hope the jury realizes she just talks in circles. She does not IMO give satisfactory answers..she just creates more doubt that this story is not believable.

Do we know a date the airline ticket was purchased? In my bank statement all transactions appear in order of the date they were actually cleared at my bank.. whether it be check or debit. It appears right after the gas charges on the 6th in her statement. He hadn't even been found yet.

I just checked my last priceline charge... it showed up the day I made the reservation.

I used to use Washington Mutual, but now it is Chase. They bought them out.

In what order did it appear in your bank statement? So if it appears right after the gas charges on the 6th on hers, do you think the airline ticket purchase occurred on or around the same date? I would think it did.
What if the purchase was on the 6th and it was part of building her alibi? Recall her emailing about going to Mesa when Travis would be in Cancun and staying at his house in his bed. Maybe she bought a ticket there for those dates to make it look like she was really planning to do that, to further prove her innocence.

I am wondering how the DT will try and fix the purchases at SLC. Nurmi has already suggested a purchase other than gas, and some on here have said that that Tesoro gas is sold only between the hours of 1am-6am, hence the store would have been closed at the time of these purchases.

🤬🤬🤬 credit card terminals have unique IDs, and if JA swiped her card for all three purchases at the gas pump, the credit card company may be able to determine if the card was swiped at the pump or the convenience store credit card terminal. I believe credit card companies keep database records for these transactions for several years.

I think she is done regarding the Walmart receipt, as there is no line drawn through the gas can purchase receipt showing she returned it, and it is my hope that Juan will call a Walmart rep to confirm no gas can returned on that date in their database, I believe a return has to be scanned back into inventory, hence there should be a record of it, if in fact she did.

Unless the DT can prove she returned the can or an SLC receipt with itemized purchases other than gas be produced, we can logically conclude she had 3 gas cans at SLC and in Pasadena.

I'm struggling with the issue of premeditation. I keep going back and forth. For me, the issue is the gun.

Does anyone think the defense is going to try to prove that Travis owned the gun that Jodi used? Will they bring in that tape of Travis at the shooting range or will the prosecution bring it on rebuttal? Thoughts?

I apologize if this has already been answered as I haven't managed to get caught up on all the posts yet, but the issue with the gun...

JA's grandfather's 25 caliber gun went missing days before Travis was killed. JA lived with her grandparents at the time, and it was a 25 caliber weapon that was used to kill Travis.

The photos of Travis at a gun range are probably inadmissable since at any gun range one can use their own firearms or rent them from the facility. Many people enjoy shooting ranges but don't own their own guns thereby needing to rent various weapons from the facility. This way they can also chose a wide variety of weapons to fire with without having to buy all kinds of different weapons to own themselves. Gun enthusiasts seem to share the interest of trying out different weapons, discovering favorites and those they don't like and discussing their various merits and drawbacks. Travis at a gun range doesn't prove he owned any gun or was ever a gun enthusiast. Many people try a gun range once or twice to see if they have an interest in shooting various firearms and find that they don't have much of an interest. Just like anyone else, people try various sports or activities and decide for themselves whether or not they find it interesting enough to continue doing or not. Therefore, photos of Travis at a gun range only proves that at one time he went to a gun range and shot some sort of firearm whether by his own curiosity or as a boon to the whim of someone else. Since it doesn't prove he ever owned a gun or even had any interest in owning or shooting guns, I'm not seeing why these photos would be admissable.

There's no reason to not believe that the whole reason he was there was that JODI wanted to visit a gun range with him and he complied as they both seemed to have various separate interests that they brought each other into... like Jodi with her picture taking interest. Travis seemed just fine with allowing her to indulge in her photo taking interest and snap tons of photos of him and everything else constantly. There were probably many activities and interests they both had separately that they tried bringing each other into just as most other friends or couples do.

JM also said in court that there is no record of Travis ever owning any kind of gun, and hand guns are required by law to be registered to an owner. That doesn't mean that Travis couldn't have owned a gun he didn't register for some reason and therefore owned illegally, however, there is no one other than Jodi herself that insists he had a gun that he wanted kept secret from everyone in the world except for her.

Personally, in adding up all this information I come to the conclusion that Travis had no interest in guns, didn't own or have any gun, and the gun used Jodi used in his killing was the one stolen from her grandfather several days earlier, and it was she that stole it. Jodi absolutely has to account for the gun being someone else's that was available in his home and that she knew where it was as the gun having come into the house with her is absolute premeditation. Therefore, she made up the story that Travis had an illegal 25 caliber gun that only she knew existed and knew where he kept it, and it was kept at a convenient place for her to get to and use when the fight she alleges occurred between them came about and also that it is nothing but sheer coincidence that her grandfather with whom she lived had his gun go missing days before the killing and was miraculously the same caliber as the one used in the killing. Hopefully, the jury will also add it all up the same way and conclude as we all pretty much have that Jodi stole her grandfather's 25 caliber gun and brought it with her to Travis's house in the premeditation of killing him.

As I have always seen this case since I first became aware of it when it aired on 48 Hours Jodi was a nutty stalker that premeditated the the killing of her ex-boyfriend out of jealousy, lied badly about her involvement to LE and everyone else, continually attempted and is still attempting to cover-up the truth and doing it badly, and will be found guilty regardless of her clothing, hair, crocodile tears, and wellspring of lies about absolutely everything. I really don't believe that any jury could possibly not find her guilty of murder 1 based on the evidence alone and never mind the personalities of any of the various characters' in their various styles of presentation. It is what it is. And what it is is an evil concieted stalker that premeditated the killing of her ex-boyfriend, did so badly, covered it up badly, and lies lies lies about absolutely everything yet really believes that she is always the smartest person in the room at any time and will babble and lie her way out of it even though she has always believed this about anything that has gone before in her life and failed.

Mark my words, no jury will find her not guilty because she is guilty. And you can quote me on that. ;)

It definitely is a record! I've noticed that traffic in my area has been lighter than usual - everyone is obsessed with this trial!

The concensus is that KN is dragging it out so that the jury will 'bond' with JA and spare her the DP. I wonder if he realizes that JA becomes more repugnant with every passing day. I'm not a proponent of the DP except in rare cases, but this case definitely rises to that level! I wouldn't hesitate for a nano second to give her the ultimate punishment. She is the personification of evil!!!

That is what I thought. It could not have been an airline ticket for the Memorial Service. So my theory is that this ticket could have been purchased on 3rd or 4th June for a one-way ticket to Cancun but not cleared by her bank until about 6th June. Some banks take 3 working days amd this would have been over a weekend.

How likely is this?

Only have one question, Why did she take time to have her nails done? Any ideas?

I don't think she had her nails done, Nube. I think it was either hair coloring, or waxing (Brazilian).

I think she made up the nail story to cover the gap in time between Darryl visits.

Hey, I know the past couple of months posters have commented on the "Dear Zachary" documentary on youtube and how it is very similar to the Alexander case. I watched it last night and again this morning. I highly suggest if you haven't watched it to put aside 90 minutes in your weekend and watch it. It's eerily similar in so many ways - the whack job/crazy female and the truly beloved victim.

Snipped for space..

Interesting. The Law of Attraction doesn't deal with "spells" though. LOA is about visualizing and meditating and "obsessing" into reality whatever it is you desire.

********************************

just my cents..

I practice the art of witch craft, white magick, no hoodoo, no voodoo. Good magick only as I belive in the law of 3, that what ever I send out, comes back to me 3 times fold.

now to the part that I snipped..

say I want to do a money spell to attract more money..

I would cleanse my alter room, draw a circle of protection, and call on the gaurdians of the earth to sit beside me, to aid me.

I would take a green candle, as green represents the color of money, While annointing the candle with olive oil, I would meditate, visualize money comming to me, either by working at my said job, or by some stroke of luck, money coming to me in various forms. My intent is using some form of the law of attraction, as I want money, so I chant for money, I visualze money coming to me, I visualize myself working to earn the money. I put my thoughts out into the universe that I want money.,thus my thoughts going out into the universe is hoping to attract money back to me..

the law of attraction can be used in spells, and at times, can be a very big part of it..

as per Jodi, I dont think she would try to put a love spell on travis, I mean she might, people often do and try such things,, but I see as her a novice, not a true witch, if anything, she might be the lucille ball of witch craft, no offense to lucy lol but u get my meaning eh?

but a real witch such as myself knows that trying to put a love spell on some one would be manipulation, thus, with out the person knowing what I was doing, I would be trying to control their free will, and thus, using my magick for negative purpose, in which, if the love did come to me, it would not be real love. I would only be hurting myself, because it would be controlled, or manipulated love..
If I want some one to love me, I want them to love me of their own free will..
I hope I am making sense? lol its early not enuff coffee yet..

anyhoo, law of attraction is a very big part of true witch craft, you have to meditate, see it in your mind, will it, etc..jmo

now again, there is part of me that thinks Jodi could have dabbled in the black arts, or maybe witch craft to some degree, but if she did, It was only for her own greed, she wasnt using it for good intent, jmo

hope this helps..

Jodi is evil, cray cray..sadistic..I think she desrves death, jmo

eta, Just noticed that when I snipped, I forgot to add the person who posted it, 4 give me? not enuff coffee lol

still, hope ya'll get my meaning lol

OK...all of this discussion about the priceline charge is getting a bit carried away I think.

There are no dates on the part that was shown. Yes, things on statements show up in date order...however, this was Jodi's CREDIT CARD!

It's most likely she did not use it much after her trip.

I don't use my CREDIT CARD on a daily basis like I do my DEBIT CARD! Most people don't. (I actually don't use my debit card daily cause I rarely leave the house, but I know most people do...LOL!!)

She was back home and while we don't know what she was doing from June 6th when she got home and Travis's Memorial...chances are she was laying pretty low.

I think it's a very good guess that the priceline charge and the Sac Airport charge are from his Memorial. I mean, he was found on the 9th and I am sure the Memorial was planned within a few days.

But then, that's just my opinion...I just hate to send people on a wild goose chase looking for things that aren't necessary.

Not sure about the designated thread for inconsistency's....although, the thread for the transcription of her testimony might be a good place to start! LOL

I'm wondering if the TH's are taking into account the days between court and the time of actual "testimony" in the trial each day...the never ending side bars, and the breaks, etc.
IMO, maybe under a "normal" court schedule the time MIGHT be cut drastically?? Oh, maybe not....we ALWAYS need to "go back" in Nurmi's Time Machine and discuss totally annoying BS....LOL

I found this picture online that I thought was really kinda interesting.

Apparently a person took Travis' last shower picture, and put it in a software that basically cuts the face in half and mirrors it back so its one face, its interesting to see this, one side of the face he looks sad, and the other kinda mad.
Travis+Alexander+face+mirror+software.jpg

I really believe when this picture was taken he knew something sinister was about to happen.

Look at the positioning of his shoulders, they look different.

The shooting range guy, Chris Hall, is actually a prosecution witness. Nurmi didn't want him to testify. He is expected to testify that Travis never owned a gun based on his repeated talks with him about guns.

No doubt she will try to explain it away but the jury saw her face and the shocked faces of her DT. They won't buy it.
