Oh my I feel like this is never going to end with only 2 days this week? I feel really bad for the taxpayers in AZ who have to pay all these billable hours for her since clearly she is guilty. This is dragging on way too long.

Well, I think I'm gonna make a big pot of stew and freeze it in small containers. Sounds like I won't want to cook for a while.

~~IMO~~ Nurmi needs to cover every single detail Jodi wants covered. He needs to put up a massive fight. I sure don't want any excuse for a mistrial or retrial due to ineffective counsel. I also don't believe for a single second Nurmi believes his client will walk out of jail EVER! He's tried to have himself removed several times, didn't he?

How many of the jurors were expecting to be off for Spring Break with their Families?

Wow, May!
Okay, so I don't know much about the american jurysystem but I hope the jurors aren't in danger of losing their jobs and stuff like that.

I thought I saw it mentioned somewhere that closing arguments are on March 25th? I'm not sure at all so don't take my word for it.

There is a part of that tape...camera is split in court on her face/interrogation tape ...question was something from Flores, "did someone catch you, Jodi?".....that got a reaction out of Jodi, she slammed her her hand down and wrote something on paper to her lawyer, she was enraged sitting there.
Perhaps it doesn't mean that someone caught her at the crime scene but perhaps Travis caught her doing something and she was done, done, done with him....over. And we all know how Jodi likes that word "over".

And she likes these words too > Official, exclusive, boyfriend girlfriend, warm an fuzzies, edify, de-edify... Have you all noticed that everytime she answers something that she says is "abusive" she sighs? I just want to stick my hands in the TV and <mod snip>!

This article just mentions it and shows the picture of the footprint, but no added details. I tried to do some research on it, but it's not very much out there that I can find. Maybe my googles skillz aren't 'leet (elite) enough. :(

ETA I may want to include the link..

I have looked and can't find yet, a picture of the bedroom/closet/bathroom layout that had a arrow pointing to a bloody footprint in the bathroom and the words (foot print) were in a circle in the closet. hope that made sense.

Tell me about it. I'm living on pasta casserole, pizza and some coffee/tea. Oh and fudge for a sweet treat.

I meant shoeprint, not footprint, sorry.

Here is the shoe print I am referencing.

Oh well. Maybe Nurmi will realize that the less they say the better. Maybe then we can have good news for Easter. :please:

IIRC it was shown during Heather Conner's testimony - Day 2 and 3. I'll see if I can find the link.

ETA: Start at about 13:50 - They show the possible shoe impression:

A question regarding the jury question asking her to define the word 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬...

Is this something JA used to describe someone else during the trial that I had missed? Seemed out of nowhere.

The third gas can I get. It's critical in her getting through Arizona without a stop, IIRC. The finger injury is another thing altogether. I guess she'd rather try and pin it on Travis than admit it happened during the murder when she was fogified.
There is absolutely no evidence in her entire story about being physically abused. She had nothing to "show" for it, so she threw in the finger. In her mind, he did it; regardless of when it happened.

I think Travis called her a 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬, right?

I am totally... bias and I will admit that this is total projection, but it sounds like they were suggesting that she fit the definition. I know, I know.. I am sure there is a perfectly legit reason, other than that, for the juror asking the question. I just don't know what else it could be. :waitasec:

🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 (skngk)
n.
1. A rhythmic dance performed to reggae or ska music, characterized by bending forward, raising the knees, and extending the hands.
2. Disgusting or vulgar matter; filth.
3. One who is disgustingly foul or filthy and often considered sexually promiscuous. Used especially of a woman or girl.
intr.v. skanked, 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬·ing, skanks
To dance the 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬.

I am thinking that we can rule number 1 out.

At first during a question Nurmi asked her, if he (Travis) had ever called her any names she said 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 in front of friends. Then as she blabbered on more it came out that actually Travis was on the phone with her and the friend asked him who he was talking to and the friend say hey 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 and Travis repeated what the friend said then said just kidding.

So it was actually Travis' friend (maybe roommate at the time) who called her a 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 and not Travis.

 She loves to blame Travis for everything

In the USA you cannot be fired for missing work due to Jury Duty.

Am I overanalyzing this or looking for strategies that aren't really there? This seems to be something that JM does in a very effective manner - just like he dangled that coded magazine message out early in his cross examination of JA and but never wrapped up that story yet (although I am patiently waiting for that to happen at some point before the end of the trial).

I truly believe JM has two goals in this case; the first being, of course the DP for JA but the second, equally important, to clear TA's reputation.

(respectfully snipped)

The defense has been screaming for a MISTRIAL since January 1st---I think Juan has saved his "surprises" for the end--just in case that, for some crazy reason (the Chinese Water Torture of Nurmi?)--someone flips out in open court.

Saving the big guns for the rebuttal keeps his strategy from the defense until the last possible moment--IMO
