HAPPY JANINE DRIVER DAY!!! I'll be headed over to the courthouse in an hour or so to greet her, find her the best seat possible in those rows. I don't know how she'll feel at the end of the day but I'm gonna do my best to hang with her after court and maybe drive her to the airport so I can glean as much info as I possibly can today. I'm meeting her on the heels of her own big public admission last night and one thing I do know about me is I know how to express love and support to someone so I will be greeting her with a big "bad a$$" hug. ;)

See you all from court. :seeya:

As always, I will be anxiously waiting for both of your reports. Have fun.

What's the big deal about Spanish pronunciation of Spanish names? People who speak Spanish do that all the time. People who speak French tend to pronounce French names as they are denoted in French as well. It doesn't bother me one bit.

Well, I happen to have a Hispanic last name which is very simple -Al-Da-Co. Three simple syllables. We get called ALDAKO, AVOCADO, ADDCO, you name it. Very annoying. Around here, nothing is English. It's either Spanish or Tex Mex.

Not sure anyone remembers me, but I used to post just as NashBridges during the CA trial. I even flew to Florida for the verdict and never posted again. I will never be able to explain the sadness and heaviness in the air in FL when that verdict was announced.

I vowed to never watch another trial again. Yet here I am, sucked right into this whole gong show. I recognize many posters names and hope I'm welcomed back with open arms. I've been lurking here since the trial started and finally ready to give into my urges and let my guard down. I will admit, I've lost a lot of faith in juries but something just tells me that this time, things will be different. JA isn't walking free from this.

I've also been lurking on the JA is innocent site, just to see what those people are actually thinking. What I've witnessed the last 3 days is sickening. First the amount of hatred, craziness over thinking they found some big dark criminal record of Travis' and now they are turning on their own members who are questioning the validity of JAs' testimony if Juan can prove she had 3 gas cans. It's disgusting and alarming how they are attacking anyone who doesn't have the same opinion as them.

Um, San Antonio is not 100 miles from the border. Just sayin'...

I can see Juarez Mexico from my house. It ain't pretty. We get to breathe lots of horrid things from there BTW. And, isn't it fascinating that it's illegal to transport "soil" from there, even if it's on your car. If it's on your car, the Mex. bridge people make you wash the car. Idiotic considering the fact that we have daily dust storms that transport the same soil.

I remember you, good to see you posting again.

He used to have a my space or FB page, and a bunch of other stuff. My guess is it disappeared about the same time as Juan got him to testify in January.
That "other site" must be proud that their claim to fame was MM posting on their site, and that's the very thing that caught him out! lol

Maybe he's speaking by proxy through "Brian Carr" ... geesh!! What's with THAT guy. I'm sure MM is out there somewhere ... incognito ... :giggle:

Good Morning Everyone!!!:seeya:

Can someone please tell me what time will court be in session? Thanks!

Morning all!!!! Does anyone know why InSession is not airing any part of this trial past 11 am EST?? What the heck happened there?

TruTv changed their programming on March 4, to only include 2 hours (from 9-11am) of InSession.
Obviously, they hate us avid trial watchers. :(

I'm beginning to wonder if Nurmi has something like Asperger's. I'm not saying that to be snarky, I really wonder. His behavior is so off-putting, especially for somebody in the public eye, not to mention televised. Plus his tactics at defense seem to be totally clueless. He seems completely unaware of how he has alienated the jury. I have to believe Wilmott has said something to him. Just he does not listen, or what?

Any drinking game related to Nurmi's behavior is bound to bring on incipient alcohol poisoning. We need to find something that won't result in paramedics being called. :floorlaugh:

I dunno, maybe Nurmi always poking a finger up his nose is sort of like a descrete way of breathing into a paper bag to calm down the hypervenilating from desperately wanting to run up to Jodi and paste her mouth shut with cement.
:floorlaugh::floorlaugh::floorlaugh:

OMG, I'm laughing so hard I think I might have to start breathing into a paper bag myself... or poking a finger up my nose! hahahaha!

Is it just me, or does Jean C say totally different things when she's on any other show besides Nancy Grace? She seems to lean somewhat toward the defense any other time; put her on NG and boom, she leans prosecution.

Anyone who has watched NG for more than 5 minutes knows that if you don't say things she wants to hear she is going to cut you off and belittle you.

Hello! The KC verdict was traumatic wasn't it? *sighs*. This case (as in seeking Justice for Travis with JM at the front!) has already been a kind of therapy for me. I hope this jury gets it right. :please:

Jodi is very experienced at playing these word games. This is most likely EXACTLY what Travis was talking about when he called her a liar.

Yup. Walmart will not allow non-tracked cash receipts because too many people buy things and want cash back. This is why when you use a cc, they return it on a cc because people will want cashback which is a no-no.

I live in Canada, but i'm quite certain Walmart has global policies. moo

As someone intimately acquainted with a former Wal-Mart executive of 14 years, I can tell you that the return policy has changed over the decades.

It is in a state of constant review, characterized by the predictable tension between the dueling objectives of customer satisfaction versus loss prevention.

The policy has tightened in recent years, especially as it regards no-receipt returns.

However, by policy, each return is to be receipted and the direction is to effect refund via means of purchase. E.g., if you bought it on a card, it should be refunded to that card, cash for cash, etc.

Yes, there are some exceptions which may result in gift card refund (store credit), and managers do exercise some discretion.

But I don't want to get into the exceptions.

Why?

Because, believe it or not, there are folks who abuse the process; ergo the emphasis on loss-prevention.

I wonder if Juan will bring up today why JA's WM receipt was not circled or lined through as is every single other WM receipt in the US that has any returned item listed on it?? Not that she needs any more help in this area, but that'll help nail her too.

She could have told WM that she lost her receipt.... but even still, WM would have transaction history IF she did return something.
Which we all know she didnt.

Jean C does change her views from show to show. Seems like Nancy G doesn't allow her to defend people like Arias. Speaking of Nancy G.....I can still hear her over the top descriptions of CA's "push up bras". She is soooooo annoying sometimes. I hate the way she says the same thing over and over again as if it's brand new.
