Just a FYI but the Riverside court records show there was an ex parte hearing yesterday (3/12) re: dismiss courts 03 04 and a request to recall the warrant. Records show the former was "Disposed," the amended charges changed from "Active" to "Dismissed" and the warrant successfully recalled as of yesterday, 3/12/13. However, the "Filed charges" and "Convicted" lines remain as they were before, which is a technicality I'm not happy to see.

I kept before-and-after screen shots of the records but won't post them unless there's a good reason to.

Amazing that it has taken all this time to clear TA's name even though his brother said authorities quickly saw it was him from fingerprints and sent him to prison for parole violation. I don't understand why they wouldn't have corrected the record much earlier.

Hope the DT doesn't try to muddy the waters by bringing it up in court. I note they filed a motion on 3/11 for all criminal records.

Something is really creepy about two of the potential kids' names, Hinkley & Reagan, that JA mentioned in the letter to Travis's grandmother. In the movie "Taxi Driver", Robert DeNiro's character was named Travis and Hinkley tried to assassinate Reagan because of his obsession with Jody Foster.

You're very welcome!

I just love these kinds of premeditation cases the best because it's such fun going through their planning and figuring out what they messed up. They say that even the smartest of criminals make something like 25 mistakes in planning out their crimes, and I just have to believe it.

I have to admit, that Jodi did plan some things out I wouldn't have thought of, but on the other hand she totally botched some really obvious things that she should have thought of and that I just can't understand how she could possibly not have like such obvious paper trails.

This case really grabbed me since I saw the 48 Hours special years ago, and she seemed so creepy and obviously full of it with EVERYTHING she said it gave me chills. I honestly can't think of any other criminal that creeps me out as much as she does. I'm sure not the only one either, and I never actually met her. Seems like EVERYONE that knew her got the big freaky nutball vibe from her.

Just going through her general interests/favourite books/music (on her blog) creeped me out. The Bible, Dead Sea Scrolls, Deepak Chopra's Law of Attraction, kindness etc. A psychopath reading religious/mystical books = creepy. She's an empty sponge! She wouldn't know what kindness is if it hit her right smack in her ugly face!

He was probably aware of the connection between John Hinkley and Reagan and thought it would be quirky or comical to put the two together--that is assuming one believes her that he chose those names.

When I heard that I just could not believe it. She wanted to see those gruesome photos not only to see her "work" but also to gain knowledge of how she could make a story to fit the injuries.

Yes; certainly the former, but especially the latter.

Imagining her thoughts:

  • Did they recover all the pictures?
  • They missed the one where I'm posing over his throat with the knife.
  • I just love me. I am SO clever!
  • This will be easy.
  • I'm gonna skate.

:seeya: Hello, my fellow Juanettes!! :rocker:

or her "feelings". Nurmi: How did you "feel" when...

We need to remember that the fog didn't occur when she was killing him, only descended afterwards. The Fognesia(TM) affects only her memories, not her behavior.

My guess is, the judge will rule it all inadmissible. I can't imagine the DT even trying to get it in. It's obviously not Travis so what would be the point?

More likely referring to recent/current Mormon "President" Hinkley, who I'm not sure is still alive and at the helm or not.

I'd love to know the jurors' reaction as Jodi described cowering in abject terror when, mired in LA traffic, TA's uncontrolled fury resulted in his yelling at drivers and rapidly escalated to the maniacal fiend actually pounding his hands on the steering wheel!!! Oh to be a fly on the wall in the jury room when they can finally speak together about the case.

Well, I DO think his behavior is scary. I have never, ever, ever behaved this way in traffic. :floorlaugh: And my area (Washington, DC) just won the dubious award of having the country's worst traffic. Got to say, though, I've driven in LA a couple of times and still remember it with horror twenty years later.

I think at the time she WAS that strong. Plenty of us have used our hubbies to see if we could pull them on a tile floor and were able to do so without huffing and puffing.

IMO
Respectfully snipped by me

And none of you had adrenaline working in your favor when you did it.

From the sex tape alone, it's obvious JA was indeed a movie buff. I think she gets most/all of her idea's from movies she has seen. She is one twisted sister

I have seen on other sites (not this one) where people believe ANY woman who claims abuse, regardless of the facts, or have an issue with Mormons for some reason, or don't like LE or the justice system -- in other words, people who HAVEN'T looked at the facts. IMO those are her supporters. And then there are folks like poor Brian Carr, or are either looking to get on TV or have, shall we say, mental issues.

Unfortunately, the world is full of just plain old STUPID people. STUPID people who get their information from other STUPID people and don't bother to get the real facts about anything.

On your clothes, up your nose, in your eyes, on your tongue, in your food... it can't be escaped. But I've always had bushy double coat dogs (that thankfully always do their shedding once or twice a year, and it's all done with in a couple of weeks).

As for Travis's dog, I think he was probably scared of Jodi and didn't go anywhere near her. She was probably jealous of the dog, too, and didn't want anything to do with him.

Anywho... I doubt they bothered to check for his dog hair in the rental since there was soooo much other evidence that pointed to her, and there's only so much money that can be spent on any investigation. I don't believe they would have considered checking the car for dog hair, testing to see if it belonged to that dog or thought it was feasible since the rental car would have been cleaned so they could rent it out again right away.

What would be the point of checking for dog fur? She's not denying being there. Unless the fur can tell the detectives when she broke in, how she broke in and how long she was there, checking for fur would be a waste of tax-dollars.

I'm still dying to know if Budget charged Jodi for the missing floor mats.

Also, I saw somewhere she brought the car back on empty. How much did THAT cost someone who was rolling pennies and being frugal? I do know the rental places charge over and above the going rate of gasoline so that's the renters' (Jodi) incentive to refill the tank back to where it originally was instead of being charged an exorbitant amount.

Good morning all peeps!

Let's get this show on the road!

:cheer: :woot: :woot: :cheer:

Just curious as to why Jean Casarez always throws on a Hispanic accent when pronouncing JM's name. Seems unnecessary. Is this something she always does with Hispanic names?

IMO, if the DT tries to get the arrest in it will be a bad move by them. It can certainly be disproved and would be. The jury will only look at it as an attempt of desperation and it will not help JA at all. Waste of time.

Morning all!!!! Does anyone know why InSession is not airing any part of this trial past 11 am EST?? What the heck happened there?

Gordon Hinckley was the LDS President from 1995 to his death in 2008.
