He had to have wiped the pen clean, otherwise, there would have been some kind of fingerprints from someone else who has written with it or touched it. The LACK of fingerprints on a pen that belongs to the Ramseys is super weird. I would expect every pen in my drawer to have at least partials of my fingerprints on them.

I think that it was wiped clean and left there goes to intruder not Ramsey.

Wait, now I'm lost. You said earlier that the reason it matches so closely was because the intruder looked at something she wrote to cast suspicion on them. Did I misread that?

Why would s/he do that if they were wearing gloves?

I don't know for sure. I can see the possibility of not being able to hold the pen well with gloves on and so he took them off to write the note and then wipe the pen clean.

It is a possibility that they tried to copy her handwriting. Yes I said that.

A girl is assaulted in her home from someone who broke in and was in the house before they got home. It was a stranger to her.

That is not out of the realm of possibility here. It just isn't. IT is a possibility that this person was connected the the JBR case. They can't rule it out. IT means.. Possible. And also would go into the Intruder column.

He wasn't a stranger to the mother...Just ask Amy's dad....He'll tell you all about it. In fact, we've discussed this seven hundred and fifty-seven ways from Sunday.

Yes he was. IT was not the boyfriend. <modsnip>

It may have been discussed but not with the right facts.

They never found that guy.

Just seems quite coincidental that an intruder would grab both a nightgown and blanket that just happened to be JB's favorite.
It wasn't her favorite nightgown, and the blanket wasn't her "favorite" either. The blanket was usually on her bed, under her comforter.

Well, then this shouldn't be difficult: Source please? Thanks!

Look back through the thread, it's here. I am not going to cite sources only to have them dismissed because the IDI's are held to a whole lessor standard than the RDI's.

Actually, it's been proven when. It was between 11pm and 1 am. No earlier, no later.
Elaborate, please, & provide a source, please? (*What is "it"? Time of death, ingestion of pineapple, or?...)

Where was the W/D? I know there was one outside JBR's room, was the other one/s in the basement?
Yes. I'll post an image of the basement floor plan. Standby...

I don't believe the note casts blame on Patsy. That is just my opinion but I have been looking at it for a while. There are all different experts and they all say something different. If it was so easy to call her the author I think there would be real proof. Not possibilities. I don't believe she wrote that note.
If PR did not write the note, then why the various reports of her having changed her writing style post crime?

Who says that is true? And who reported it? Where did it come from? Because I don't believe it without proof. There is just too much in this case that is all about making them look bad.

Scarlett, I know you don't like ST, but you should read the section in his book about the handwriting and what Patsy's mom said. Really, he has no reason to lie about the handwriting.

The autopsy revealed the time of death based on rigor and the contents in the digestive tract.

I really don't like him or trust anything he has to say. It is a shame but the more I look into him the less I like. That is just personal. I do know people who have the book and I will ask them to read it for me and give me a synopsis.. But only cause you asked.. :)

It can not pinpoint the time though.. Only give a window because each body and environment is different.

What I will do after I get the grands settled for the night is find the page and explain what I mean about Patsy's handwriting changing.

Again, I am sorry.
