Either way it's all hear say and it will never be allowed at the trial. Before we all jump to conclusions maybe we should hang on and wait for Cindy's audio to come out. JMO
IMHO,

Cindy's questions, in the excitement of the moment, would qualify as "excited utterances" so as to take them outside the scope of the Hearsay Rule.

Also, they would not be offered to prove the truth of the matter. That is the crux of the hearsay exclusion. That gets the statements in.

They can also be viewed as circumstantial evidence of some other fact----also not hearsay.

Lee sounds to me like someone who suffers from "adult child of an alcoholic" syndrome, emotionally detached, inappropriate laughing, etc. Does anyone know if either CA or GA are alcoholics?

I have read here at WS that George had a gambling prob and had racked up gambling debt. Cannot vouch for veracity of that and I am not jumping to conclusions.

Just tossing out that if that is true, it is surely an indicator of an "addictive personality." No more, no less, no conclusion.

JG decides to throw AL under the bus......hope TonE has a good attorney.

I think it is very telling how Lee describes the smell going from horrible, to potent, to atrocious.

Lee did not know that Caylee's doll was in the car. Does anyone know if her favorite book is at the house, or has there been any talk of it?

Yeah that rumor is interesting, it made me take more notice of the ebay purchase by Lee--poker chips from a now defunct Vegas casino. And Casey wearing a bustier/corset type thing with cards surrounding the neckline. What does it mean, nuttin' I suppose--just that this rumor made me the take notice...

I think that Lee has rehearsed all of this. One thing I see that LE is doing is skipping around Lee's prepared statement - ie: #8 point, etc.. This is a good thing because it does cause the rehearsed thing of Lee's to get disjointed at times.

Sorry, but I just do not buy what Lee is trying to sell. His laughs are very disconcerting to me.

I have Lee's tape playing now. I dont know about this family but to me they are not normal. Lee is really helpful giving info, but so calm and he seems like he loves attenteon too. My son would be SICK if my daughters kids were missing. In fact my son would be in tears talking to police, not laughing. Lee talks like Casey.
I dunno.. am I imagining this? Its like no Anthony member cares about Caylee.

OT--My 6 year old wanted to get her hair cut shorter, when we went to the salon the lady said if she cut off some more she could donate to Locks of Love--my 6yo aksed what it was so I told her.

She smiled and said I want to do that.

That's great!

I wonder what Casey thinks of AH, RM, AL, and JG getting together to talk about the timeline and put it all on a calendar for LE.

I wonder if THAT caused her to have any kind of reaction.

Good question; I would like to know that as well.

I think that the fact that Cindy goes from "What did you do?" to "Who took her?" is very telling.
Did you know that the police are always more suspicious when a parent of caregiver calls the police and immediately says that a child has been kidnapped or taken? Most people will do whatever they can at first to deny that idea.
She wandered off, I can't find her, she is missing, I don't know where she is, those are the things that non guilty caregivers say when they call the police
As backed up by dozens of reports and studies over the years.

We don't know how forthright he is, yet. Not enough facts...

I am having a hard time with something in the interview of Lee.
Cindy and Lee are relatively knew to the nightmare of Caylee being missing, no arrest yet or anything, Casey's in a room with Lee. Cindy enters ...

How they get from Cindy asking Casey, "What have you done"

to Cindy asking Casey, "Who took her?"

without stories and explanations to swing Cindy and Lee from 1 thought process off in another direction.

I am really puzzled by this in Lee's accounting still.

It is like we go from point A to point C but we are not privvy to whatever is point B.

I really think LA just left something out of the "conversation" here. No sinister implications like CA knew about a kidnapping prior, or anything like that. That would make zero sense. Why then the big explosion on 7-15? Why the 911 calls and a clearly freaked out CA about her granddaughter's whereabout? Simply, it must have been very frenetic and highly charged at that moment when LA and casey were talking and CA came in the room. I really doubt he could remember everything with precise accuracy from that moment. It's sometimes hard to remember everything said in such moments, like in a fight. I believe this in part because CA also said, "We could have been looking for 31 days" or something to that effect. It makes sense if the conversation went like this: "What have you done?" "I haven't seen her in 31 days. She was kidnapped." "Who took her?" "The nanny" "We could have been looking for her for 31 days!", or something to that effect. I just think that the mother heard more after saying "What have you done!"
As to LA, his statements seem helpful and he gives damaging infor to LE, but he just irritates me badly! Maybe he's just young and trying to be "official", but this family is so utterly odd to me. How can a person be so calm in the face of what he knew about the disappareance of his niece? Did he just not have much of a bond with the baby? I guess some people are like that, but I think my brothers would be crying and panicking during much of such an interview if it was my kid missing. And they were both soldiers. He's so annoyingly matter of fact, like reciting a memo to a group of fellow employees. And I agree wholeheartedly that the laughter is annoying as he!! and very inappropriate under the circumstances. What is wrong with these people?

I'm sure they have all shed oceans of tears for baby Caylee. Just because we do not see them a mess on national TV does not for a minute mean they are not hurting. These people are living a nightmare and nobody here should speculate on how they really feel, because nobody knows what goes on behind closed doors. Casey has put this family through hell for many years. They have admitted that on numerous occassions. Why kick them any more while they are down? I just don't get it.

Everyone is looking to blame somebody else or connect somebody else to Casey killing Caylee. This whole family has grilled Casey and she will not talk. They are frantic and praying that just maybe this spiteful b!tch might tell them the truth. Lee is not on her side. He's playing the spiteful B!tches game!
I do see your point. (You always make a lot of sense). And I have never blamed the Anthonys. KC alone is responsible. I also think it is bad to kick them when they are down but I guess I am doing that, against my better judgment, at least when it comes to LA, because regardless of how many interviews there have been prior, or the fact that a few days have gone by, LA just really sounds too nonchalant in his interview and his laughing does not sound normal to me, or nervous, under the circumstances. There is just something so "off" to me about the family. However, I do not diminish their suffering, I am sure this family has cried and I think it is disgusting that people harass the family, screaming in front of their house, for something they had no part in, regardless of their current efforts to protect KC. It's just so surreal listenting to this guy talking about his niece and her disappearance. I don't understand it but I suppose it really does not matter. He made his statement and it hurst KC's defense and that's the most important thing.

I find these things very odd also. Cindy automatically asks "what she has done, then goes onto who has her." Does not add up.
I really think she was enabling her...she was giving Casey an out even then...think about it. Cindy has done that for years...now we get to something HUGE like a child missing and she immediately gives Casey a perfect opportunity to be a victim. Casey has never been held accountable for anything...Cindy knew that Casey had done something wrong in regards to caylee being missing... but her immediate response is Who took her? It's like Cindy immediately lets Casey know we will support you. The dynamics between Casey and Cindy suggest Cindy always protected Casey but probably deep down hated her at times...and vice versa...the love hate relationship is often the most troubling and most dangerous type of relationship. It is telling to me how Cindy went from what have you done to who took her? She very quick like dismissed any idea that Casey had done anything wrong..even though in her true subconscious, Cindy KNEW that Casey was responsible was Caylee being missing.
