A man accused of murdering Dublin woman Joanne Lee and leaving her body in a wardrobe has been found dead.

Her ex-husband, Keith Lee, is reported to have been found in his cell in Mountjoy Prison this morning.

A Garda spokesperson confirmed that the suspect in the case had passed away.

In a statement, the garda press office said: ‘Gardaí in Mountjoy are investigating a sudden death of a man in his early 40s that occurred today 12th April 2018 in Mountjoy Prison.’
