JAR tried to hire a hit on JonBenet?

Why is this new to me?

Can anyone give more details about this?

--->>>My post did NOT say JAR tried to, my post said
Feb. 1997, man in Waterford MI comes forward saying
someone who said they were JAR'

This info was printed in a February 1997 issue of Globe. R's
attorneys responded in media saying, JAR was not in MI the
summer date that the offer was made in 1996. There are two airports in
Waterford. Zoom zoom. Now ya see me now ya don't.

I always thought the R's should have been curious enough to
hire investigators to find the impostor. HECK he coulda been
the R perp that murdered JonBenet, ya think??? Hmmmm.

The Boat man was a narc for the Waterford MI PD. HE had
nothing to gain from coming forward, absolutely nothing. Why
even bother coming forward UNLESS, hmmm.

me too.I think she had a frame of reference for saying it.

it is,it's a lot to internalize.I think it would cause a lot of inward frustatration and depression, and possible anxiety as well.although I think JR was still going thru a lot of that from his 1st daughter's death.
I tend to think it's possible she had something on him as well.
He seems to be a lot more relaxed in the interveiws, since PR's death...a relieved sort of look and behavior to him.and even laughing that Karr is 'just a normal looking guy'??? what????

Yes, he does!! I had never really thought about that before, but you are right, he does look more relaxed. Now with Patsy gone, he doesn't have to worry that she might slip up and say something that she shouldn't. When she died...he probably said..."WHEW"....

Dude, wetting the bed is one thing, but JonBenet's situation went well beyond mere bed-wetting. According to Patsy in PMPT, JB had "frequent infections that were hard to clear up because her underpants were always wet" and in ST, Nedra Paugh states that JB did not wipe well after a bowel movement and needed an adult to clean her up.

The other Ramsey children did not experience that level of incontinence and lax hygiene. Wetting the bed is nowhere near the same as enduring "frequent" infections due to lengthy exposure to wetness during the day as well as at night, and I've never heard anyone say the other Ramsey children had Hershey stripes in all their underwear, either, needing someone else to clean their bottoms at age 6.

Something was very wrong in JonBenet's life. Her situation was not normal, was not average, and was not experienced to anywhere near the same degree by her older siblings.

I think Patsy was jealous of JB, too, but not over sex. More like youth and beauty and attention.

I agree. It's certainly common for young girls that age to have some "wiping" issues. Bedwetting is also not unusual at that age. BUT bedwetting and wiping issues are a far cry from daytime soiling. It's the daytime soiling that raises a red flag as far as sexual abuse. Interesting that the only 3 people who could point a finger at JR for sexual abuse are DEAD. His older and youngest daughters, who could have been victims, and his second wife, who may have known about it. So if he has a "dirty little secret", his secret is safe! Maybe that's why he got a lawyer for his first wife! If her lawyer operated anything like the Rs defense team, it would be certain no one would get to question her about her son JAR's exact whereabouts Christmas day, or anything about her daughter Beth's "relationship" with her father.
Speaking of JAR's whereabouts...much was made of Christmas Day photographs with Karr's family (not that I think he had ANYTHING to do with it) but I never saw anyone asking to see Christmas Day photos of JAR to show he was NOT in Boulder that day. And of course, the public has never seen the pictures from the White's. And let's not forget that the R's FORGOT to charge the cameras for Christmas Day?

I thought that was Daffy Duck

Close. Warner Bros. made a cartoon stork caricatured in Jimmy's image.

I wouldn't have noticed it enough to put it into words but have to agree, he does seem more relaxed.

Maybe because now he can get married again? Or if you guys are right, maybe some of both reasons?

  • #247
Hmmm, does anyone have a link so that I might see his more
relaxed look?

Wonder IF boatman looked 'anxious and hopeful' when he came
forward in Feb 1997, and IF he still looks that way today?

Wonder HOW AH the ex DA looks today? OR IF he shows up anywhere
to be seen these days.

Has anyone seen a picture of Lin Wood lately, with his
representation of HS? He appears to be flying under the radar
with his new job.

I bet if you looked at the underwear of a class of first graders at the end of the day, you would find the majority, if not all, would be soiled because of lack of proper wiping. They are too small to handle this sort of thing correctly. They need help with it.

--->>>Great point! I don't remember us covering this in the past
10 years + since the death of JonBenet.

IF IF JR was accustomed to a family tradition of taking videos of Christmas. Wonder how or why he got involved in doing that was it a family 'thing' he learned from GA roots? IF so there surely should have been splendid photos of JAR having a happy Christmas Day in GA 1996.

NOW then IF IF IF LE in Boulder had seen photos of those two celebrations, GA and Whites party. COULD photos have NOT been shown that would have incriminated someone WHO ENDED up having an alibi that could not be cracked?

ADD to this the foot dragging on Steve by the DA, and COULD we have a case of DA NOT wanting to spend the money for a long and expensive trial that possibly could have been won by the R Defence team. Bad idea on my part???

Was the PDI defence a protection for Access Graphics, and the rotten publicity it would have afforded this up and coming money maker?

Go ahead and file this in the DUMB IDEA file, while coloring me with the stupid yellow color crayon.

mumble, mumble.

The Ramseys had a tradition of celebrating Christmas with the Ramsey and Paugh families. I do not understand why the Ramseys changed their tradition in 2005 and 2006.

Why didn't the Ramseys fly to Georgia to celebrate with the Paughs? Was it something Grandpa Paugh did when he left Boulder Dec 24 stand-by?

I don't even have an opinion on that one.

yea,that's what I think !

I read on FFJ that he ALSO had an eyelift...trying to look spiffy for the ladies. Someone posted two different pictures of him, one of them right after JB died, and a recent one...the difference in amazing.

I have to agree. My daughter will be six in Sept. and I STILL have to wipe her. I have tried to teach her to do it herself, and to encourage her by telling her that when she gets in school, her teachers are not going to wipe her...so she had better learn to do it herself. She never does it right....and she knows it...so, she wants me to do it for her. My oldest daughter on the other hand, was wiping herself, when she was four...and did a great job.

There is a difference between soiling and leaving skid-marks in your underwear. Was JB soiling her pants, or just neglecting wipe well?

  • #256
Housekeeper LHP said she soiled her bed, leaving a stain the size of a grapefruit once. I don't know how in depth the underwear soilage was, just that there were soil stains in almost all of her underwear. To me that sounds like a bit more than just not wiping well enough, especially with the other things going on in her life like all the vaginitis and frequent infections, but maybe that's just me.

Ames, would your daughter ask any available adult to help wipe her, or would she seek you or her daddy, or a close family member to help her?

I wonder if JB could have soiled her bed...the night that she was killed. Maybe she didn't just urinate on it, but also had a bowel movement (sorry for being so graphic)...and thats what pushed Patsy over the edge.

To answer your question, NP...HECK NO...she wouldn't ask any available adult...she would wipe herself before she would do that. She will not even let her dad, or my other daughter wipe her. It HAS to be me. Hold on just a minute.....okay.............I am back. I had to go and wipe her AGAIN....I am serious. I will be SO glad when she outgrows this. GEESH!!!

My youngest son was the same way with not wanting to make the last step into being fully capable in the bathroom til age 5. I finally convinced him by telling him we were not going to have a birthday party with his friends unless he was taking care of business on his own every day. That worked.

I think it's very odd that JonBenet would ask any available adult to help her. She should have a more developed sense of modesty by age 6, based on my experience with kids. It makes me think that maybe she wasn't granted privacy, and didn't develop as much modesty with no chance to.

This case makes me pull my hair out.

I agree, that it seems like she didn't have much modesty...and YES that is weird. I used to work at a daycare, and there were a couple of kids, that I would have to wipe...because they couldn't, and they would ask me too, and they didn't seem the least bit embarrassed. I think lack of modesty is weird, BUT...maybe its normal for some kids, who knows. Maybe it just depends on the kid and their personality. Both of my kids are extremely, EXTREMELY modest....and they get that from ME...LOL

We could start a BALD CLUB....because this case makes me pull MY hair out too.

I had a tiny grandson, who had no compunction about using an
entire roll of toilet paper to get the job done!!!

I will NEVER forget the sight of his enormous pile of TP
surrounding him in the bathroom. He knew enough NOT to put it
all into the toilet basin, welll it was full to the rim anyway.

Surely there was no shortage of TP in the R household?

Wish we knew the truth in all matters of this case.
