Gantz to regional leaders: It is Hamas that brought ruin upon the residents of Gaza

War cabinet minister Benny Gantz, the third Israeli political leader to address the nation tonight, starts by highlighting the skepticism he says was felt by some as regards the IDF’s ability to tackle Hamas, and says its performance thus far is “impressive by any measure.”

[...]

He tells leaders in the region: “There is no fight more moral than our battle for the right to live securely in our land. You need to act so that a different reality will be possible afterward, and so that Gaza will not again be held by those whose hands are covered in the blood of the innocent.

“It is Hamas that brought ruin upon the residents of Gaza. It should be pressured and attacked, so that the hostages are returned and so that the day will come when the war will be over.”

Referring to today’s Arab summit in Riyadh, he says Israel will not countenance preaching about morals from Syria’s Assad, “the slaughterer of his own people,” or “the hangman from Iran” – a reference to Iran’s President Raisi. “Those who shook hands with the leader of Iran remember what Iran has done,” he says.

Regional leaders can help the Palestinians with humanitarian needs, and need to remember “that the reality requires a changed regime in Gaza.”

Officers have detained a breakaway group of around 150 people from the pro-Palestinian demonstration in Grosvenor Place. The group were firing fireworks and many are wearing face coverings. Officers are using their Section 60 and 60AA powers to detain and search those involved.
The face coverings are a dead giveaway, imo. Only Hamas has reason to hide its face.

U.K. prime minister condemns ‘wholly unacceptable’ actions by ‘Hamas sympathizers’ at march

The U.K.’s Prime Minister Rishi Sunak condemned what he called the “violent, wholly unacceptable” actions by “Hamas sympathizers” and far-right groups at the National March for Palestine in central London.

“The despicable actions of a minority of people undermine those who have chosen to express their views peacefully,” he said in a statement on X.

London’s Metropolitan Police Service said officers arrested 82 counterprotesters. In a video statement, authorities said that the counterprotesters “seemed intent on confrontation and intent on violence.” The arrests stemmed from offenses such as possession of a knife, possession of a baton, possession of drugs and assault on an emergency worker, according to police. There were no immediate reports of arrests from the main protest.

Remembrance weekend is a time for us to come together as a nation and remember those who fought and died for our freedoms,” Sunak said. “What we have seen today does not defend the honor of our Armed Forces, but utterly disrespects them.

PM says Israel will stand against world if needed to defeat Hamas, return hostages

[...]

He says the IDF is inside in Gaza City, “on the outskirts” of Shifa Hospital. Among the many terrorists killed, he says, are many of those who led the October 7 massacres in southern Israel. From Hamas Gaza chief Yahya Sinwar on down, all these terrorists are destined to die, he says.

Turning to the northern border, he again warns the Iran-backed Lebanese terror group Hezbollah against intervening in the war between Israel and Hamas.

[...]

“There will be no ceasefire without the return of our hostages,” he pledges.

[...]

He urges Arab heads of state: “You have to take a stand against Hamas.” The terror group has only “brought disaster to Gaza; only bloodshed and poverty.”

Furthermore, it is an integral part of Iran’s axis of terror and evil, he says, and that axis “endangers the whole world and the whole Arab world.”

[...]

Netanyahu also says the military will remain in Gaza “as long as necessary” to prevent the enclave from being used to launch terror attacks against Israel.

When he thinks of “the day after,” he says, that means “only after the destruction of Hamas. Hamas will be demilitarized; there will be no further threat from the Gaza Strip on Israel, and to ensure that, for all long as necessary, IDF will control Gaza security to prevent terror from there.”

[...]

“If we want peace, we have to destroy Hamas. If we want security, we have to destroy Hamas. If we want to ensure the future of the State of Israel, we have to destroy Hamas. That’s what Israel must do. And that is what Israel will do,” he concludes.

IMO
the disregard for international institutions and conventions and also
the settlements in the disputed areas,
(which are illegal under international law),
will remain in the minds of world's public opinion.

Through @COGATonline, and in cooperation with Egypt, the IDF continues facilitating the delivery of humanitarian aid to the residents of Gaza.

Here is COGAT’s spokesperson Shani Sasson with more details:

Fact: We are working with Gaza's hospital staff to provide safe passage southward for Gazans from Shifa Hospital.

Watch IDF Spokesperson RAdm. Daniel Hagari speak on the IDF's efforts to mitigate harm to the people of Gaza.

I tried to pull up the link to the students shouting obscenities, but it is not working. I hope the media is not twisting facts to inflame the situation. It’s already bad enough. IMO.

Muslim leaders blast Israeli ‘crimes’; Iran: Solution is Palestine from river to sea

From the article:

Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi, on his first trip to Saudi Arabia since the two countries mended ties in March, said Islamic countries should designate the Israeli army a “terrorist organization” for its conduct in Gaza.

Raisi told the summit that the only solution to the conflict is a Palestinian state from the “river to the sea” — meaning an elimination of the State of Israel.

“We want to take a historic and decisive decision regarding what is happening in the Palestinian territories. Killing civilians and bombing hospitals are manifestations of Israeli crimes in Gaza. Today, everyone must decide which side they stand on,” he said, calling to arm the Palestinians.

Médecins Sans Frontières: Gaza patients and medical staff 'trapped in hospitals under fire'

Médecins Sans Frontières has warned that patients and medical staff in Gaza are “trapped in hospitals under fire” and called on the “Israeli government to cease this unrelenting assault on Gaza’s health system”.

In a statement released on Saturday, the humanitarian organization said:

Dr. Mohammed Obeid, an MSF surgeon at Dar al-Shifa hospital, said:

MSF also said that it has lost contact with a surgeon working and sheltering at al-Quds hospital with his family.

It's been refuted that Israel is attacking any hospital, so are they referring to Hamas attacking, or pushing the narrative that it's Israel?

Here are some images coming through the newswires of the ongoing pro-Palestine march in London, where police say more than 300,000 demonstrators have taken to the street in a show of solidarity with Palestinians.
