Crowds gather outside the White House ahead of pro-Israel march

Demonstrators pray on Pennsylvania Avenue in front of the White House before a rally supporting Israel today.

Thousands of civilians, both Palestinians and Israelis, have died since October 7, 2023, after Palestinian Hamas militants based in the Gaza Strip entered southern Israel in an unprecedented attack triggering a war declared by Israel on Hamas with retaliatory bombings on Gaza.

Feel free to remove if off-topic, but I paid attention to the date of this article, October 6 2023, it means that the data breach in 23@me happened shortly before that. Am I seeing too much conspiracy in unrelated events, both of which may be targeting Jews, or are things more connected than we think?

"THE GENETIC TESTING company 23andMe confirmed on Friday that data from a subset of its users has been compromised. The company said its systems were not breached and that attackers gathered the data by guessing the login credentials of a group of users and then scraping more people’s information from a feature known as DNA Relatives....Hackers posted an initial data sample on the platform BreachForums earlier this week, claiming that it contained 1 million data points exclusively about Ashkenazi Jews."
I saw this about a week after 10/7 and I still can’t figure out what anyone can do with the data, other than hacking into people’s personal accounts for banking info. Unless, there’s some worldwide plot to exterminate all Ashkenazi Jews. But that could never happen, right?

It disturbs me that no matter how much or what kind of evidence people are given, they still doubt. That has to devastate the families. Not only did they suffer the horrific loss, but they have to deal with the madness of unbelieving scoffers. SMH :(
Insanity. Really.
How much more proof do people need? Beheaded babies? Here you go. Burned people? Here you go. Raped women? Here you go. Butchered bodies? Here you go. Go pro footage from the terrorists released. “Photo Journalists” on scene.
World: Not enough proof.

Palestine Red Crescent Society says staff remains "trapped" in Al-Quds Hospital

From CNN’s Niamh Kennedy in London

The Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS) is unsure its staff is still alive as teams are "trapped" inside the Al-Quds Hospital in Gaza City, a spokesperson for the organization told CNN on Tuesday.

“When I'm talking to you now, I'm not sure if they still are alive or not,” PRCS spokesperson Nebal Farsakh told CNN’s Max Foster during an interview.

The organization, based in Ramallah in the occupied West Bank, has struggled to reach its teams inside the hospital for more than six days. The PRCS has only been able to communicate with its team via high-frequency radio waves, which Farsakh described as “unstable” and prone to “constant distortion.”

Farsakh said the roughly 300 patients in the hospital and PRCS medical staff are all “unable to leave,” adding that all the surrounding roads remain closed. She said all those inside are “trapped,” hearing continuous bombardment and shooting in the surrounding area.

A PRCS convoy had attempted to travel on Monday from southern Gaza to the Al-Quds Hospital to evacuate staff and patients. During the interview with CNN, Farsakh claimed that after searching the PRCS vehicles and giving them the go-ahead to travel to Al-Quds, the Israeli military then informed the convoy that it couldn’t travel there because there was an ongoing “military operation” in the area.

CNN could not independently verify the PRCS claims regarding the convoy. CNN has reached out to the IDF for comment but has yet to hear back.

Also on Monday, the Israeli military said it had killed a group of Hamas fighters “embedded” among civilians at the hospital after its troops were fired on from the entrance. The PRCS, however, disputed the Israeli military's claims, saying, "There are no armed individuals inside the hospital and no shots were fired from inside."

In a building that size, with that many people in it, how can PRCS be that certain that no one is armed?

Hassan Nasrallah has repeatedly threatened that Hezbollah will occupy northern Israel.

Spoiler alert: that isn’t going to happen.

We will continue to protect our citizens from Hezbollah and all forms of terror.

"We are ready to provide you with any assistance. We'll even provide you with an incubator and I'll put it at the gate of the hospital. Does that help?"

The @IDF continues to work around the clock to ensure the protection and safety of civilians in Gaza.

Listen to a conversation between an IDF officer and the Director of the Shifa Hospital in Gaza regarding medical assistance and the evacuation of patients.
This sound bit with the hospital director breaks my heart. “What else do you need? Anything you need” While their own government is exterminating them for trying to get to safety. Monsters. Evil monsters.

Warning: Graphic content from Hamas sexual violence on October 7:

Another screening by Israeli authorities for foreign journalists. Here’s what we saw and heard:

1: Two dead women lying on the grass at musical festival - both with no pants on. One has her panties taken half off. The other doesn’t appear to have any on at all.

2: Eyewitness describing how she saw a woman being raped by several Hamas terrorists, pulling her hair as they raped her and took turns. One of them cut her breasts off - the others played with them like a toy. The last terrorist to rape her shot her in the head and continued to rape her until her finished. Eyewitness also says some terrorists were carrying heads in their hands (beheaded) as trophies, saying there wasn’t a thing the didn’t do to the heads. She also saw a Hamas terrorist carrying a naked girl over his shoulder.

3: Police say they are still gathering evidence (DNA etc) from rape victims in addition to eyewitnesses to build the strongest case possible.

4: 18 people from the music festival are in psychiatric hospitals, according to police.

5: And for those wondering why police aren’t releasing graphic video and photo documentation to the entire world; out of respect for the victims. It’s an ongoing investigation. Releasing evidence in cases like this to the public is not custom anyhow.

Reports people attempting to leave hospital shot in legs

The BBC's Rushdi Abualouf has heard that no people, or any items of aid, have been allowed out of the Al-Shifa hospital for the last 48 hours, according to one of his contacts.

That source - one of the few remaining journalists in the hospital - says four people had tried to leave Al-Shifa yesterday, but were shot in the legs and left on the ground bleeding for around two hours.

Medics had to risk their lives to get them into the hospital for treatment, the source tells Abualouf.

The BBC has been unable to access the hospital to verify this as fighting has been raging in the vicinity in recent days.

I wonder if they will be to afraid to go outside the gates to get the respirators and incubators? Maybe, they can pick up the gas, at the same time.

Well, they must still have power.

Andrew Mitchell, the UK minister of state for development and Africa, has said in parliament in London that he will be heading to Egypt this evening.

PA Media reports that answering a question about the delivery of humanitarian aid to Gaza, he told MPs “Discussions are going on with Jordan and also Egypt on that very point, and I can tell him that I will go tonight to Egypt to try and further those discussions.”

The UK political tone is definitely changing IMO.
TEL AVIV, Israel — Families of hostages held by Hamas since its Oct. 7 attack on Israel have begun a protest march from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem demanding that the government do more to secure their release.
And not just in the UK, but in the US as well. <modsnip - politics>

And... as your post indicates, they also appear to be changing in Israel. My bet that a protest march of any kind, and of any size, in the midst of a shooting war would have been unheard of in the past. Rather, the expectation would be that all Israelis support the government's decisions for the duration of the war.

I'm willing to bet that the more talk there is of "relocating" Palestinians elsewhere in the world, the more humanitarian aid is going to come pouring into the area (to keep Palestinians in Gaza). It just floors me to learn that (prior to October 7) Gaza has been receiving vast amounts of aid (100 trucks a day- wow) for a long time now, which suggests to me that as a people, they've not been self-sufficient. That's not meant as an insult, btw, just an observation.
Look at their "leadership".

Millionaires not even living in Gaza.
hundereds of miles of tunnels to hold terrorists and their weapons.
Instead of using all this money and aide to help their people, they instead plan Oct 7th and ask their people to become martyrs.

Don't hold your breath. Hamas (and others) have made no secret of their intentions toward the US and Jews. We live in the "technology age". Don't think they won't use technology to accomplish their goals. They're using modern methods to trace ancestry for a reason. jmo

12-year-old girl missing since Oct. 7 found dead in Be'eri

Authorities identified the body of 12-year-old Liel Hezroni in Kibbutz Be'eri on Monday. She was killed along with her aunt during Hamas's invasion of Israel and massacre of civilians on October 7.

The identification comes shortly after Vivian Silver, 74, a Canadian-Israeli peace activist feared kidnapped since the attack, was also confirmed dead.

These are the @zakaHQ first responder volunteers who have been exposed to some of the most horrific scenes imaginable in the aftermath of October 7th.

Babies butchered in their cribs.

Families executed while hugging.

Zaka volunteers are heroes who are doing God's work. But it comes at a price.

I‘ve donated to Zaka throughout the years, well before this massacre, because they are always the ones who go in after other terrorist attacks in the past, and they try to get every single piece of the deceased because that’s important in a Jewish burial.

But this now…oh Lord…

There are some jobs or careers I think I couldn’t do even if I were starving. This is that for me.

These people have a calling, not a job.

God bless them.

I know. Unbelievable.
They are all volunteers. I don’t know how they function.

The IDF has reported that an alert has been activated in Israel’s southern port resort of Eilat, which is being investigated.

While alerts are frequent near Israel’s border with the Gaza Strip and near the UN-drawn blue line that marks the boundary between Israel and Lebanon, they are much rarer in Eilat, in Israel’s far south.

Earlier in the conflict the city did come under attack from a long range missile fired from within Gaza, and the Israeli military repelled attacks claimed by Yemen’s Houthis.

I believe Eilat is now receiving more rockets and alerts due to the fact that Hamas knows that more than 60,000 Israelis have relocated here after their homes near the Gaza border towns and kibbutzes and some from the Lebanese border towns were destroyed.
