All of which is in accordance with LoAC and Conventions for hospitals in conflict zones which lose their "Protected Status" due to terrorists abusing those protected rights by placement of legitimate miltary targets in, around, on and under. Although "Protected Status" will be lost, international law still requires that the Opposing Force (the IDF in this case) must still evacute the hospitals before attack. That is what Israel did & is doing.

So according to this Doctor, Shifa Hospital has been evacuated by the IDF, who she calls dogs. They protected her during the evacuation, which was apparently humiliating & she ascribes a sexual motive to them checking if a blond kid was a hostage.

The IDF will evacuate the babies out of Al Shifa tomorrow: Doctors at the Shifa Hospital (where Hamas HQ is in basement) have asked the @IDF to help evacuate the babies from the pediatric department. The IDF will help them. Reminder: Hamas still holds Israeli babies hostage.

OK, realistically now...
You are the CEO of a huge hospital. Or, the Chief Medical Officer. You know that Hamas has committed acts of terror on Israel, and now Israel has declared war on Hamas.
Your immediate area surrounding your hospital and your constituents is safe...but nearby is heavy fire. From above as well as on the ground. Your hospital cannot safely obtain fuel, nor supplies. Relief is not guaranteed. The citizens nearby are frightened. What to do??? What to do??

DUDE !!! You get the hell outta there!! You abandon ship! You safely call in the experts and assistance to safely and effectively remove patients and staff....and you get the hell outta Dodge!! It may take a few days, or a week....but it is possible. (See other successful evacuations.)

Either these CEO's had a gun pointed to their head, or were highly paid to sit still and do nothing. The whole thing infuriates me.

Over 800 foreign nationals said to leave Gaza on Sunday​

An Egyptian border official tells CNN that at least 826 foreign nationals left the Gaza Strip on Sunday through the Rafah crossing, the most to leave the enclave in a single day amid the Israel-Hamas war.

The American cable news network also quotes an Egyptian government official saying that nine wounded Palestinians crossed through Rafah.

MIT suspends some students after protesters refused to leave building​

Sally Kornbluth, the school’s president, sent a letter to all students outlining the “boundaries of protest on campus” during a pro-Palestinian demonstration that she described as “disruptive” and “loud.” The protest in the building called Lobby 7 lasted much of the day and attracted counterprotesters.

When some protesters refused to leave after a deadline was set, the school said it would suspend them. But after hearing concerns, including visa issues, Kornbluth said they would be “suspended from non-academic campus activities.” It was unclear how many students would be affected and when that would happen.

I have been watching U.S. and the Holocaust (on PBS) and your quote reminds me of when news first came out about what Hitler was doing to the Jews and he claimed he was only responding to a Jewish uprising even though there were journalists reporting on what was really happening.

When hospital spokespersons say can't, I think we can replace that with won't. They refuse to evacuate or entertain any plan for evacuation. They have given excuses for why they refuse, but those reasons have solutions and they only want to hear one solution and that is they get fuel brought to them (aka delivered to the hands of HAMAS) and the hospital is left alone.

I never, ever hear of or dealt with a hospital or long term care facility that refuses to evacuate. There are standard operations procedures in place, every hospital in the US has, I would think DWB and WHO would have for all their facilities.

WHO, DWB and the Red Crescent have resources, the world will provide whatever they need to evacuate, just say the word. Hospitals have evacuated with less than they have.

Any thoughts on why they were taken out of the incubators? At least in the incubators they are kept away from draft and airborne viruses.

Also, where are the baby's mothers? I assume they would be at the hospital if they have a preterm infant in an incubator. Why are the babies lined up and surrounded by cardboard boxes? Why aren't their mothers holding them to keep them safe and warm?
