Looks like they are clearing the way for the Red Cross. Oh, I hope and pray!!! Moo
From above ....
Several terrorists with two RPG launchers shot at IDF soldiers from the midst of civilians in front of the hospital, the statement said. One hundred US government officials from the state department and international development agency have signed an internal memo criticizing the White House for “disregarding the lives of Palestinians” and for showing an “unwillingness to de-escalate” in the Israel-Hamas war.

The memo, obtained by Axios, gives a glimpse of the intense internal opposition to Joe Biden’s strategy in the five-week war. The US president has maintained firm support for Israel’s right to defend itself following the 7 October Hamas attack while urging greater humanitarian aid for Palestinian civilians in the besieged enclave.

The memo, which Axios reports was organized by a “junior diplomat” within the state department, blames Biden for failing to counter Israeli “war crimes” in Gaza. It says that the Biden administration has “doubled down on our unwavering military assistance to the [Israeli government] without clear or actionable redlines”.

According to Axios, the memo was sent to the policy office of the state department on 3 November. It was sent through an approved channel within the agency that allows for the expression of private misgivings about official government policy in what are known as “dissent cables”.

The cables are intended to allow diplomats to raise objections to state department strategy without fear of reprisals. They were set up in the wake of the Vietnam war as a form of internal checks and balances, but they are meant to remain private.

To a Muslim extremist, anyone who is not Muslim is an infidel. That includes Catholics because they are still considered Crusaders. That’s the term for Christians as a whole even though during the Crusades there was only Catholicism.
Which probably makes them see the Pope as Crusader-in-Chief. IMO

Excerpt from the link, which is a government study on Islamist extremism post 9-11. I don’t think Hamas even existed yet.

So much hate and anger, generational.

No compassion, empathy, acceptance for non Muslim extremist.
So sad, to live hating the world.

That would have been a very strong message - We are able to create a land bridge by power from Gaza to the West Bank'Our @jregevi24 breaks down the October 7th massacre and the 'deeper attacks' Hamas planned for, including provoking violence in other areas of Israel

International calls grow for a ceasefire in Gaza'What we see in Europe and also maybe in the United States with this outrageous campaigns of Palestinians and Islamists out in the streets, that from a Hasbara point, from Israels PR, that may be a blessing in disguise... because they wake up the very deep fears of Europeans and Americans that they may be taken over by foreigner elements' Former Ambassador Danny Ayalon says

I'd have a hard time, having 100 workers than don't support the decision of a leader, POTUS or a top CEO.

How much dissension and divide will this cause in the State Dept. I'm appalled.

International law is only international law when it’s applied universally. When ISIS occupied medial facilities, it wasn’t hard for @HRW
to say this undermines their protected status and puts civilians at risk. The same applies to Hamas.

Dr Mohamed Tabasha, head of the paediatric department at al-Shifa hospital, has spoken to Reuters in a telephone interview. He told the news agency:

Yesterday I had 39 babies and today they have become 36. I cannot say how long they can last. I can lose another two babies today, or in an hour. I never expected in my life that I would put 39 babies side by side on a bed, each with a different disease, and in this acute shortage of medical staff, of milk.
He told Reuters that the infants are too cold, and the temperature is not stable because of power cuts. In the absence of infection control measures, they are transmitting viruses to each other and they have no immunity, he said.

He said there was no longer any way of sterilising their milk and bottle teats to the required standard, and as a result, some had contracted gastritis and were suffering from diarrhoea and vomiting, which meant an acute risk of dehydration.

Palestinian woman says Israeli troops ordered 800 displaced people out of clinic

A Palestinian woman has told the BBC that Israeli troops stormed the Al-Suwaidi (Swedish) Clinic in Shati refugee camp, west of Gaza City, and ordered 800 displaced people who had been sheltering there to leave.

“They took the young men out, including my three sons and separated the women and children,” Maryam al-Arabeed, 65, said on Monday morning.

“I saw an Israeli bulldozer completely demolish the Al-Suwaidi building.”

Arabeed said she and six other women, as well as a number of children, walked away from the clinic and slept in the street after being told by the troops to go to Al-Shifa Hospital, which is about 1km (0.6 miles) to the south.

The UN has warned that the situation is dire at Al-Shifa, with constant gunfire and bombings in the area. Doctors have said that patients had died because of power cuts caused by a lack of fuel.

“I am in the hospital and I do not know where my sons and relatives are,” Arabeed said.

“Tanks were shooting above our heads and they asked us not to look to the right or left. I saw dozens of martyrs and wounded screaming in the road.”

The Israel Defense Forces has told the BBC it was looking into the allegation.

On Sunday morning, the IDF said in a statement that during a battle in Shati camp its soldiers had identified civilians located in a building in the area. “The IDF secured an evacuation route for the civilians, and as the civilians were evacuating, terrorists fired at the troops from the outskirts of the area,” it added.

The UN said overnight that the Al-Suwaidi Clinic had reportedly been hit and destroyed in an air strike on Saturday.
