Anybody else concerned that if they let these babies get in an ambulance to Egypt - Hamas will bomb it and blame IDF?
I'm just beyond concerned.

IDF is not putting medical staff and patients at risk. Hamas has done that by building their operations centre beneath the hospital. IDF is doing everything they can to safely evacuate Northern Gaza, including hospitals.@Sundog how is Israel fighting for us all when they put doctors, nurses, and patients at risk?
Very very concerned. They would put nothing past booby trapping a baby, either. IMOAnybody else concerned that if they let these babies get in an ambulance to Egypt - Hamas will bomb it and blame IDF?
I'm just beyond concerned.
I think more than a month after the electricity was cut, never has already arrived.I don't want to sound cynical, but it seems to me a "damage control" stunt.
PR wise.
But, of course, better late than never.

Ugh. I didn't even think of that.Very very concerned. They would put nothing past booby trapping a baby, either. IMO
The fuel wouldn't be needed if Israel hadn't cut the power.RSBM
Israel may have cut the power to Gaza, but I believe it's been proven Hamas commandeered the fuel.
The video of the Zaka worker I posted earlier, he said some of the bodies at the kibbutzim were booby trapped.Ugh. I didn't even think of that.

Offer of 300 liters of fuel to Al-Shifa hospital was meant to 'gain time,' IDF says
[...]
Jerry-cans with 300 liters of fuel were placed by entrance of the hospital, the IDF said, where staff say a lack of electricity has severely curtailed efforts.
“It wasn’t meant to make the hospital sustainable but just to gain more time, to help save more lives — to save lives of people in the hospital, specifically babies and children,” IDF spokesman Lt. Col. Peter Lerner said on social media.

The IDF said that Hamas ordered hospital staff not to take it.

And if Hamas had built power plants instead of weapons and underground utilities instead of tunnels Gaza wouldn't have been dependant on Israel for power. ImoThe fuel wouldn't be needed if Israel hadn't cut the power.

If the staff was too afraid to go outside and get the fuel, how did they expect to get it if they had received what they wanted--a tanker truck in the lobby??On Sunday, the Israeli military said it put 300 liters of fuel at the entrance to the hospital complex, but claimed that Hamas had blocked the hospital from receiving it.
Abu Salmiya told Al Araby TV that staff had been too scared to go out to get it.
“We told the Israeli army that the 300 liters of fuel they offered is not enough to operate the hospital for 30 minutes,” he told CNN.

"All essential units have collapsed," Al-Shifa hospital director tells CNN
Conditions at the Al-Shifa hospital, the largest in Gaza, are "catastrophic" as essential units have collapsed, the facility's director told CNN.edition.cnn.com
What safe evacuations? For those who tried to evacuate Shifa Hospital, they said it was a terrifying experience because the IDF opened fire on them multiple times. Oh and the hospital officials said the fuel provided by Israel is insufficient in any case.IDF is not putting medical staff and patients at risk. Hamas has done that by building their operations centre beneath the hospital. IDF is doing everything they can to safely evacuate Northern Gaza, including hospitals.
Unfortunately, Hamas has commandeered ambulances to transport Hamas militants and their weapons. That means fewer ambulances for patients.
Israel is fighting for all of us. Hamas is an ISIS based terrorist organization, unrelated to religion, that is determined to terrorize, mutilate, maim, murder and incinerate anyone who does not agree with them. They are extremely dangerous mass murderers who, in any other country, would be incarcerated for life. In Gaza, they flourish.
I want to be happy about this, but why " most of the Israeli women and children"?TEL AVIV — Israel and Hamas are close to a hostage deal that would free most of the Israeli women and children who were kidnapped Oct. 7, according to a high-ranking Israeli official. The agreement could be announced within days if final details are resolved, he said.
“The general outline of the deal is understood,” the Israeli official explained in an interview Monday, requesting anonymity to discuss the sensitive subject. The tentative agreement calls for Israeli women and children to be released in groups, simultaneously with Palestinian women and young people held in Israeli prisons.
If the staff was too afraid to go outside and get the fuel, how did they expect to get it if they had received what they wanted--a tanker truck in the lobby??
So they basically wanted a third party to actually deliver it?Abu Salmiya said it was the presence of Israeli tanks that prevented collection.
“Of course, my paramedic team was completely afraid to go out,” he said, adding, “We want every drop of fuel, but I told (the IDF) that it should be sent through the International Red Cross or through any international institution.”

BBM. ALL of the U.S. media are asking for proof--and have made it very clear in their coverage-- that they have received no proof whatsoever. What safe evacuations? For those who tried to evacuate Shifa Hospital, they said it was a terrifying experience because the IDF opened fire on them multiple times. Oh and the hospital officials said the fuel provided by Israel is insufficient in any case.
Where is the evidence Hamas has an operations center beneath the hospital other than simulated illustrations and unverified recordings? I'm not pulling this out of my a$$ even the Associated Press is asking questions
Israel says Hamas is using Gaza's biggest hospital for cover. Hundreds of people are trapped inside
So they basically wanted a third party to actually deliver it?
