Earlier today I attended a screening of raw footage of the 7 October massacre, recovered from Hamas bodycams.I can't do justice in words to the horrors I witnessed, but it will stay with me for the rest of my days.

JMO: This group has done amazing documentaries on the curriculum of unrwa. Over a decade of documentaries and most are about 20 mins long (so quick to watch). Hearing some of the interviews with the mothers of these kids heading off to class, kids as young as 5/6, saying they’d be proud for their kids to become martyrs made me sick.. I’m a mom and I can’t fathom saying something like that.

Thanks.
I don't believe the Palestinian children and their families are focused on school curriculums right now.

“Moral support” LOL.

Iran's Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei delivered a clear message to Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh when they met in Tehran in early November, three senior officials told Reuters: You gave us no warning of your Oct. 7 attack on Israel and we will not enter the war on your behalf.Khamenei told Ismail Haniyeh that Iran would continue to lend the group its political and moral support, but wouldn't intervene directly. He also pressed Haniyeh to silence those voices in the Palestinian group publicly calling for Iran and its powerful Lebanese ally Hezbollah to join the battle against Israel in full force.
I mean, Hamas at this point look like cowards and losers. Kill babies and the elderly on 10/07 but hide behind human shields and whine when the soldiers come in. What self respecting terrorist supporter wants to be a part of that?

I think you are right about expendibility as viewed by the big dogs in Qatar.

But.... the local little dog leaders in Gaza might not be inclined to stick around for formal affirmation of their escape intent from Qatar. Rather, my bet is that when they see that the "ship is lost", they are going to start escaping on their own.

The escape might not be that organized in regards to seniority. It could get "first come, first serve" fast. Rank and file members who know how the northern tunnels connect might also move on their own. Likewise, some of the escapees could have their own "personal hostage"(s) in tow as form of life insurance.

As @Vern mentioned, Hamas has connections to Egypts largely defunct Muslim Brotherhood (supplied a key leader for 9/11). Some Hamas escappes may find shelter with the Brotherhood. But.... I think that Netanyahu's stunts on the Temple Mount ("Al Aqsa Storm") might have struck a chord with ordinary Egyptians.

There might be quite a bit of Egyptians willing to shelter Gaza escapees, or just not ask questions about certain guests with non Egyptian accents. This willingness to shelter could go up even further if Iranian cash is offered.
BBM. I think those stunts have struck a worldwide chord. It would not surprise me if many of the hostages are in Egypt.

(FYI Khan Younis is Sinwar’s birthplace and several phones of hostages pinged there on/after 10/7)

The IDF calls on the residents of the eastern neighborhoods of Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip to evacuate their homes, for the first time since the start of the war. In leaflets dropped by the Air Force, the army said: "For your safety, you must leave your place of residence immediately and evacuate to one of the known shelters." A significant step indicating an expected expansion of the IDF's operation.
“Later on he located her mobile phone through her Google account. Its location was Khan Younis, a city in Gaza. He then saw a video that spread on social media of them being taken to Gaza.”

"I surely identified my wife, my two daughters and my mother-in-law on some kind of a cart, and terrorists of Hamas all around them," he said.
Sounds like an excellent place to look for hostage- bearing Hamas, though I'm afraid the "hostages as human shields" scenario is going to play out here. Hope I'm wrong.

Several Stockpiles of Weapons and Munitions have been Discovered inside of the MRI Center of the Al-Shifa Medical Complex today in Gaza City, following a Raid by Unit 5101 of the Israeli Air Force also know as the Elite “Shaldag” Unit with support provided by the 36th Armored Division.

Interesting.. I thought there were no weapons and no HAMAS at Al-Shifa.

I guess now I know what the delay was in accepting incubators/food/medication in to the hospital. They had to hide the evidence in MRI machines, supply rooms and closets. Probably tried to camouflage entrances to tunnels, as well. ”no one will look there”. IMO

I waited outside the room, curious to see the MPs' faces when leaving the screening. There were 60 MPs and Lords, not a huge number but they came from all the major parties. They left in silence, some told me they were too upset to speak, and some were visibly shaken and in tears. I've spoken to
@PreetKGillMP from @UKLabour and @BobBlackman from the @Conservatives
who shared their feelings and thoughts after watching the footage.

I have copy/pasted a few sentences from the article above. So the UN wants compliance with international laws and protection of children BUT it won't condemn the action of HAMAS, which were largely against INNOCENT CHILDREN??? How can anyone take them seriously when they can't call terrorism what it is. If they can't condemn what happened on Oct 7th, then I don't care what else they think should happen or not happen. I can't respect a group or the decisions it makes if they need to tip toe around the brutal massacre of innocent civilians. We all have seen/read/heard what all occurred Oct 7th and if THAT isn't condemnable then nothing is.

The text demands compliance with international law, specifically the protection of civilians, especially children.

It also calls for the immediate and unconditional release of all hostages held by Hamas and other groups, especially children. The draft does not condemn the actions of Hamas, a point of contention for Israel's ally, the United States.

"Since the beginning of the war, as many Israelis have applied for weapons permits as in the last 20 years.

Minister of National Security
Itamar Ben-Gvir announced that 236,000 applications have been submitted so far.

In October, over 31,000 permits were granted.
Since November, an average of 1.7 thousand permits per day have been awarded, Israel National News reported on Wednesday.

Right-wing minister Ben-Gwir, who decided to liberalize access to weapons, stated that the changes are not intended to replace uniformed services,
but a greater number of weapons in private hands is a positive phenomenon.

'We can't put a policeman on every corner.
I call on all who meet the criteria and who have not yet started applying for permits to do so today.

Arm yourselves to save lives',

the government representative appealed."

You know what this reminds me of, them leaving in silence, being visibly shaken?

When the German civilians were forced take a tour of Buchenwald Concentration Camp, saw the “skin lamps” on display, ETC.

I hope they investigate every doctor and "spokesperson" associated with the hospitals.
