Throwing rocks is an "art" over there. They don't have firearms, but they have these huge slingshots. They're weapons. Also, I wish throwing rocks was the only crime of those being released. Many have other charges, such as bomb making and terrorism....

Note: I have not read this article and don't know how accurate it is. I just looked for images, so it's an image source.

Ancient slings, not to be confused with the more modern slingshot, were known to be deadly and accurate missile weapons used for hunting, self-defense and warfare.

I see things like this and I just don't know how trust would EVER be a possibility. Having a two state solution means being able to TRUST others. 30 YEARS?

I can't imagine all that happened Oct 7th, but to then find out someone that lived among my community for 30 years betrayed us like this?:(

This is just like what I was thinking about yesterday, a scene from “The Sound of Music.”

Remember “I am 16 going on 17?” Leisel and Rolf? All in love and dancing happily in the gazebo?

Then later Rolf joins the SS, the Nazis invade…Liesel and her family are hiding in the church, Rolf finds them, they exchange eye contact, then he blows his whistle summoning his fellow Nazis that they are there.

Sadly, this is exactly what Hamas aimed for. A huge rift. More hatred. More violence. I have watched many interviews with survivors and they are heartbroken that the people they trusted in their homes for decades, with their children and grandchildren were the ones who raped, brutalized and murdered them. IMO

Today, I have a question. A pressing question. For some Western feminists. How can you remain silent, when women and girls are raped, tortured, their bodies carried around naked and spat on by bearded men shouting Allah Akbar? Then you can never call yourself a feminist again. Every day, including today, some Western hypocritical feminists should be ashamed of their silence on the horror that Hamas men inflicted to women and girls on 7 October. And that includes big names we were once proud of. Why are their lips sealed and their hearts of stone when it comes to the excruciating pain of Jewish women? The MeToo movement and so-called intersectional feminists do not care about all women. If they remain silent, it means they have lied to us about their commitment to women's rights. Their actions support the oppressor, not the victims. Also the EU money does. Indirectly. Those who say nothing about these women and the hostages, should not be standing here and speaking about human rights. When you are under attack by terrorists, a cease fire is like raising your hands when you are being shot at. Perhaps it is worth considering that a real lasting cease fire will start with bringing back all the hostages to their homes and the rapists to justice.Assita

An unconditional ceasefire that keeps Hamas in power and hostages in captivity has been rejected. President Biden has brokered a deal—a temporary conditional pause rather than a permanent unconditional ceasefire—that secures the release of hostages (women and children) and facilitates the flow of humanitarian aid to Palestinians without abandoning the overall objective of removing Hamas from power. Bravo President Biden.

An unprecedented protocol is put in place for the release of 40 children who were kept hostage in Gaza for the past 47 days.IDF soldiers will be escorting the children to Israel and are instructed - among other guidelines - to not directly answer questions regarding the fate of the child's parents. Let that sink in.

Re: “we called him ‘brother’” and “30 years,” I’m also reminded of Anne Frank, where the Jewish man turned her family in to save his own family.

I’m not saying this is the case in the above xeet about the guy drawing a map, but we also have to remember some Arabs were also beaten, killed (the paramedic at the festival)…remember that awful video of Hamas calling the Israeli-Arab a pig and beating him, “Where is Re’im?!”

We know from upstream the hospital worker was told not to go into a certain area or they’d be shot.

So, I’m just thinking, considering Hamas’ propensity to threaten their own people, beat and interrogate, maybe some were forced to give up locations, etc.

It’s going to mean so much to these soldiers, I’m sure, to be able to escort these children and hostages to safety. I’m sure this is so much of what they’ve been fighting for, giving their lives for.

We are going to need a lot of tissues when footage of this is shown. I’ll tell ya right now I know I’m going to lose it, seeing these kidnapped children and other hostages coming home.

Assuming it all goes through, there will still be so many left in captivity, but at least the children will be out.

They had been planning for approximately two years. Anyone who was against, did not have to assist in the planning or partake. Many Palestinians did not. But those who planned and participated, are terrorists/rapists/murderers.

They sure are.

List of potential hostages to be released. Provided by the Israeli Prime Minister’s Office:

While I know it’s so hard for the families where the husbands, fathers, etc. will be left behind in this round, I’m sure the men would want it this way for their wives and children, that at least they will be sent home when they can’t be. I hope this brings those released some comfort.

In a few minutes, I will speak at the emergency meeting of the
@UN Security Council. I will refer to the release of the hostages and the continuation of the war immediately after the pause. I will make it clear to the Council that Israel will not stop until all the hostages are returned and Hamas is crushed. I will criticize @UN_Women
for their malicious disregard for the horrific rapes and crimes committed against Israeli women.

Breaking - First video from inside the terror tunnels found at Al-Shifa Hospital, which served as Hamas’ Terror HQ.

At the end of the video you can see
@ItayBlumental
pointing out some of the equipment found in the tunnels under Shifa

Extremely important to note - In one of the tunnels they found a bag on which "60 years for [kibbutz] Be'eri" was stamped, sandals manufactured in Israel, and an IDF M-16 rifle, helmet and vest, all of which demonstrate that hostages were held in Shifa Hospital.

This is third hand info....I don't know how reliable it is.
He lives in Sweden and says he is traveling in Israel. His tweet is: "A survivor just told me". And the person is saying, "I don't trust Arabs anymore". I kinda doubt someone would not trust Arabs, when they just told an Arab that they don't trust Arabs... Arabs come from all walks of life. Many Arabs are Christian. (Danny Thomas for example. Pro-Israeli Congressman Darrell Issa is Arab) Lebanon was founded as a Christian Nation. Bedouins are supporting Israel. There are also Palestinian-Israeli citizens in the IDF. Even if the person said that, why repeat it? He knows it's going to upset people.

Links to his twitter go to fundraising....He's a muslim who is anti-muslim.
(I don't know the story) He's an activist. But I already found a tweet of his, which was inaccurate.

The twitter account: Yemeni by soil & upbringing. Swedish by passport & loyalty. Content creator on X (& TikTok - but they delete most of my videos).
