Israel says WHO ignored terror activity at Gaza’s Shifa Hospital

Health Minister Uriel Busso and Health Ministry director-general Moshe Bar Siman Tov send a letter to the World Health Organization protesting terror activity by Hamas at Shifa Hospital in Gaza City.

The letter specifically mentions that the IDF Spokesperson’s Department published closed-circuit video clips from Shifa showing terror activity — including the holding of hostages — in the above-ground areas of the hospital. The letter reminds the WHO that such activity is unethical and contravenes all rules of war.

“On November 2, Dr. Michael Ryan, director of WHO health emergencies program, said he knew what was going on ‘above ground’ at Shifa and was aware that the use of medical facilities for military purposes is forbidden according to international law. At the same time, he claimed he doubted that any terror activities were happening at Shifa,” the letter says.

Based on evidence from the closed-circuit video, the Health Ministry accuses Ryan of providing an incorrect and misleading description of the situation at Shifa to the international community.

“It is clear now that WHO has ignored the use of medical facilities as human shields and of Hamas’s refusal to allow civilians to evacuate from them… WHO’s failure to address these issues amounts to its contribution to the continuation of a conflict that is causing much suffering to so many,” the letter says.

The Israeli War Cabinet will meet today at 1800, the Security Cabinet at 1900, and the Full-Government at 2000 to discuss the recent Developments in relation to a Ceasefire in Gaza which will allow the possible Release of Hostages held by Hamas.

The “Ceasefire” which has been Agreed upon by Israeli and Hamas Officials during their Negotiations in Qatar reportedly consists of a 4-6 Day “Pause-in-Fighting” in which Hostages will been Release by Hamas and a set number of Terrorists will be Release from Isreali Prisons, with the possibility for additional Days to be added to the “Ceasefire” based on if more Hostages are able to be Found and Released.

So what happened when you clicked 'donate'?? Did a big "Smilie Gotcha!!" icon appear or would it have let you proceed???

I'm certainly not clicking it as donating to a terrorist organization is illegal here ... so no one is handing my IP to the popo for investigation.
I clicked on it. Only accepts crypto and bit. Hamas’s preferred currency.
BTW The website is not new. It was created on Wix in 1999. The massacre info was recently added.

Maybe the hostages are/were near another hospital. I would imagine this has been checked, including checks for more tunnels under/near them. I’ve surmised from the beginning this could be a dynamic situation as far as the hostages being moved, based on what unfolds.
According to time stamps they know exactly where/when they got to Al Shifa. IDF spox said if medical care was the concern, they would have stopped at any of the other hospitals they passed.

Well Well Well

How many aid groups knew Hamas was hiding in a hospital and lied about it?

All. They all knew. They all knew and endangered lives for years and years. They all knew and allowed it. They all knew and are complicit. They all knew and allowed people, babies and premies to be harmed. They all knew. IMO

Cabinet to meet at 8 p.m. to approve deal for release of dozens of hostages from Gaza

The cabinet is set to convene at 8 p.m. today “in light of the developments regarding the release of our hostages,” the Prime Minister’s Office says.

Multiple outlets are reporting that officials are meeting to give final approval for a hostage release deal with Hamas.

Prior to that 8 p.m. meeting, the war cabinet and security cabinet will meet to okay the deal as well.

[...]

Noting that there were still technical issues to be resolved, the official said there was an agreement that at least 50 people will be freed, while dozens more could be released in exchange for extending a planned ceasefire beyond the initial few days.

Those set to be released, in phases over several days, are expected to be some 40 children, their mothers and other women, the report said.

In exchange, Israel would reportedly free some 300 Palestinians, among them women and minors. There would reportedly be a ceasefire in the war as the releases go ahead. According to some reports, Israel would also stop using drones to monitor parts or all of Gaza for several hours a day during the ceasefire.

Israeli Chief Rabbinate: Cars of victims will be buried instead of people

Due to the lack of body parts or remains of many of those killed in the October 7 massacre by Hamas, Israel's Chief Rabbinate recommended burying the cars of those who were killed in them.

N12 reported on Tuesday that the ZAKA Tel Aviv organization, after hard work and distress, came to the conclusion that they could not locate all the remains of the victims inside the vehicles in which they were slaughtered. In order to preserve the sanctity of the deceased for the first time since the establishment of the state, they decided to bury the vehicles.

Gantz: Return of hostages will help Israel win the war

War cabinet Minister Benny Gantz says the return of the hostages abducted by Hamas and other terror factions on October 7 is a key factor that will help Israel “win the war.”

“We are in extremely sensitive days for Israeli society,” he says during a military tour in northern Israel.

“The return of the hostages is a moral order and also an integral part of the resilience that allows us to win the war. It is important to say that especially these days — Israeli society as a whole… right and left – is praying and wishing for the safe return of the [hostages].

“We are making every effort to return them as quickly as possible. Along with this, we will continue to fight and stand guard until we bring about a change in the security reality in the south — and it will take as long as it takes,” he says.

Aliza Samuel and her friend were hiding behind a bush during the #HamasMassacre and watched Hamas terrorists line their friends up one by one and execute them. “I had to come all the way over here to hold her mouth shut, literally to gag her because I couldn’t let her make noise.”

Israel will have no say as to what or who will govern Gaza nor West Bank Palestinians in the future nor should they.
The US will and will protect the interest of Israel. Moo

Hamas Planning Room: “Okay, we have from 1:00 to 5:00 today to get our stuff outta ___________ and move it to ______________. Then, tomorrow we will move it from ___________ to _______________. By the time 5 days have passed IDF won’t have any idea where we are.” Sounds of laughter, cheering, and applause erupt from Hamas Command Post.

Yes, I meant to specifically note this yesterday from one of the videos I posted upstream

BBM from above:

“Marzouk acknowledged that Hamas could not account for the location or condition of all of the Israeli hostages in Gaza, and he reiterated the group's claim that some — "maybe around 60" — had been killed by Israel's ongoing bombardment of the densely-populated enclave.

Others, he said, could be captives of other Palestinian militant groups or even be in the homes of Palestinian families.”
How in the world is Israel supposed to "negotiate" with a group who doesn't even know where everybody is? What exactly was in that "detailed, six-page document", if they can't account for all the hostages (or militant captors, apparently)? This does  not add up, imo.

Hamas smuggled bullets used in the Oct 7 massacre into Gaza in food bags designed for humanitarian aid.Israeli investigators found up to 50 rice sacks in the aftermath of the slaughter, which they say had served as ammunition pouches.During a tour of the "military-level" equipment recovered after the attack, Israeli officials told The Daily Telegraph the sacks pointed to a "smuggle path via humanitarian aid".
