<modsnip: Quoted post was removed>

If a video that a HAMAS terrorist filmed with a go pro like a body worn camera isn't unbiased then I don't know what is. They filmed what they did and we can all see it clearly and there really is no other way it can be viewed other than for what it is. I'd say you either think THAT is okay or you don't, but there isn't any bias in it, it's just a recording of events that occurred on Oct 7th by HAMAS

I thought alot of that was debunked weeks ago?
I missed the "debunking". The media was shown video of these horrendous acts and confirmed these atrocities in fact did take place. Moo

So, I watch this free streaming network called Tubi.

Up popped this documentary called Gaza. I thought it was well done. It's good for someone who doesn't know much about the place.
Gazans were fisherman and they like the beach. They can only take their boats out three miles. They don't catch much. They also like to swim and surf etc.

There is also another terror group called the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine. I think they may have been some of the guys who weren't in Hamas that did the killings. This Popular Front has been around forever. They were responsible for hijacking many planes in the 60s and 70s, but in the documentary, they seemed more gangster. They are not as organized as Hamas No one really works and the young men and teens go to the border and harass the Israelis. They try to tear the border wall down and throw rocks. They're pretty aggressive and several of them were shot. The documentary had cultural aspects too, so it wasn't all bleak etc. I thought it was well done.

Then after I watched that another video popped up called The Green Prince. It's about Mossab Yousef, who is the son of Hamas leader who becomes a spy for Israel. Of course, this thing is pretty dark.
I watched about 15 minutes and said, "Enough of this for one night".

BREAKING: IDF spokesman says petrol that Hamas stole from UNRWA should be given it to hospitals

This is from eight hours ago. Anybody know if Hamas gave the fuel to the hospitals? Surely they did since babies are dying, right ? MOO
Bolding mine.
Tbh, I don't think that's high on Hamas' list.
Sadly.

This link also tells me Hamas is stealing from the aid being given.
It's too bad that can't be strictly monitored.
Maybe give (the aid) in very small amounts and ration it ?
Otherwise the UNRWA and other nations and organizations are just unwittingly helping Hamas.
Omo.

3. How can Hamas afford to build tunnels?

While new houses and other civilian structures go unbuilt, Hamas has invested millions of dollars and other resources in building and operating its massive tunnel network.

Every month, Israel transfers construction materials into Gaza intended for civil projects. These materials are co-opted by Hamas for tunnel construction. Since January 2014, 4,680 trucks carrying 181 thousand tons of gravel, iron, cement, wood and other supplies have passed through the Kerem Shalom crossing into Gaza.

With these supplies, Hamas could have built houses, hospitals, schools and libraries. It could have built infrastructure to improve the quality of life for the residents of Gaza. Instead, it elected to expand its underground terrorist city.”

IDF says airstrike in Jenin targeted gunmen who shot at troops

The Israel Defense Forces says Palestinian gunmen opened fire on troops who arrested a pair of terror suspects in the northern West Bank.

According to a military statement, the soldiers “identified hits” among the gunmen.

In a separate incident in the Jenin refugee camp, the IDF said gunmen hurled explosives and shot at troops before a military aircraft carried out a strike “to remove the danger.”

“Hits were identified,” the statement says, adding no soldiers were injured.

Can anyone explain to me what the difference is between a "pause" and a "cease-fire"? Is it just semantics? How long does a "pause" last? What is the risk of a "pause"? We know that a cease-fire isn't going to happen, nor does the U.S. want Israel to provide one. We all know that Hamas would take advantage of a cease fire in a way that would be detrimental to Israel.

I haven't seen any descriptions of what a "pause" is and how long it would last, etc. in MSM tonight. Maybe I missed something posted earlier today.
From the comments made by Sec. Blinken earlier, a pause is much shorter and would allow humanitarian aid to reach Gaza hospitals, etc.
Israel doesn't seem to care.

The largest provider of humanitarian support in the Gaza Strip said it would be forced to cease operations in the enclave by Wednesday night if it doesn’t receive fuel, putting desperately needed aid for the strip at risk amid intensifying Israeli airstrikes.

The United Nations Relief and Works Agency said that without the additional fuel it would be unable to pick up and distribute any incoming aid that enters Gaza, affecting residents across the enclave, including the 600,000 people sheltering at its facilities.

The warning comes amid growing international pressure for Israel to do more to protect civilians in Gaza ahead of a possible ground invasion in response to the Hamas attacks of Oct. 7 in which the group killed 1,400 people and kidnapped at least 222, according to Israeli authorities.

I understand that there can be bias, but what I also think is very clear at this point is.. we have enough footage from HAMAS themselves showing what they did. There is nothing bias about it if one station is releasing the footage or another isn't releasing it. There are things that are facts, unless all these first responders, journalist, and military personelle, family members, etc. are all lying.. HAMAS attacked Israel on Oct 7th.. they came over on flying things and breeched the border wall. (there is video and first hand accounts from festival goers), they broke into the villages and began shooting people.. (again video surveillance footage is everywhere).... There are videos of the hostages, we have hostages released now with first hand accounts. These are all facts. There is no bias/unbias about it.. innocent Israelis were massacred without warning on Oct 7th. Now Israel is responding to that. We can agree/disagree with what Israel is now doing in response, but I don't see how anyone can deny what happened on the 7th and who did it and who they did it too. HAMAS recorded it for all to see.

This ! ^^^
Not to mention, they want a 'pause' or whatever they call it; and it now sounds like they're demanding 'fuel'.
Fuel that will one way or another -- possibly get into Hamas' hands ?

Intelligence shared with the United States suggests a small cell of Hamas operatives planning the deadly surprise attack on Israel communicated via a network of hardwired phones built into the network of tunnels underneath Gaza over a period of two years, according to two sources familiar with the matter.

The phone lines in the tunnels allowed the operatives to communicate with one another in secret and meant they could not be tracked by Israeli intelligence officials, the sources told CNN.

During the two years of planning, the small cell operating in the tunnels used the hardwired phone lines to communicate and plan the operation but stayed dark until it was time to activate and call on hundreds of Hamas fighters to launch the October 7 attack, the sources said.

They avoided using computers or cell phones during the two-year period to evade detection by Israeli or US intelligence, the sources said.

“There wasn’t a lot of discussion and back and forth and coordination outside of the immediate area,” one of the sources said…

One of the sources said some of the training above ground was observed but did not ring major alarm bells. The thinking was, “oh they always train people like this. It didn’t look different,” the source said.

Israel was aware that Palestinian militants had been using hardwired communication systems prior to the October attack.

It encountered what appeared to be a similar kind of communication system when the Israeli military raided the city of Jenin in the northern West Bank this summer, according to an Israeli official. When Israeli troops moved in as part of what was dubbed “Operation Home and Garden,” the Israel Defense Forces discovered secure, hardwired communication lines and closed-circuit surveillance cameras to give advance warning of Israeli troop movements.

Wow I sure hope US Intelligence and other intelligence agencies are going to really look at this and determine what other countries could be doing something similar. If they really did avoid detection, then I am sure other terrorist cells or even other countries could be doing something similar knowing it would avoid detection.

I've not seen a single poster on this forum deny the atrocities of the horrific Hamas attack on Israel on the 7th.

What journalists have expressed is their frustration in trying to verify the validity of propaganda coming from both sides AFTER the war was declared. Photos and videos can be edited and altered.
