I enjoy watching the flight tracker for some reason. I notice that there is UK Royal Air Force Typhoon FGR4 over the water off the coast of Israel. Also the US intel plane is looping over the water.

RRR9959X is the fighter jet
RRR9961 is the UK Royal Air Force KC2 Voyager
HOMER42 is the US surveillance/intel plane

Edited to add that the fighter jet landed in Cyprus.
I was watching the Typhoon earler today doing back and forth's beween Larnaka and Western Turkey.

Interesting to say the least.

If Gaza had made better choices in leadership, and trained their army to protect civilians rather than murder civilians, they would have established a government that issued passports.
The West Bank Palestinians made better choices, yet their government still does not issue true "passports" any more than Gaza does. Likewise, their land is still shrinking yearly with each new settlement.

Its not cash “gifts”. Most of the money is in the form of loans that the US gets a return on. As for the bombs, rifles and jets, Israel is the guinea pig for much of US military supplies. Israel, also, supplies the US with innovation in warfare and the high tech sector. IMO.
And you know how I feel about Ben Gvir..Don’t get me started.
I just feel so bad about this civilian loss. Usually their wars aren't much more than a skirmish. If the US was dealing with the same type of situation as Jabalia, our troops would have gone and evacuated the housing before we dropped a bomb with the intention to blow up a tunnel. It's just so sad. We would have even evacuated bad guys and arrested as many as we could.

Very well said.

In the end, I blame HAMAS solely for this current war. But as you imply, I think Israel has a share of responsibility for creating the totality.

It can't be easy for anyone to live next door to someone who possibly wants to kill them. Israel and the Jewish people have my respect and support... they always will.

As do I. I may have a very unique perspective as I have family on both sides of the conflict. It makes for interesting holiday and birthday celebrations.
As nice as going in and evacuating sounds, its not realistic in this scenario for Israel or for the US in a similar scenario. War is ugly and innocent people are lost.

"Bullying" by Israel plays a significant part, I'm sure. 'Just like the US... we aren't always the good guys in every situation... taking advantage of others.
We have gotten better since the 70s. I don't remember too many of our previous ventures cuz I was kinda young. I remember the six day war and was very proud of Israel. (Mainly because Israel was the good country in the bible)

No we would have evacuated that housing complex, blew it up and then kinda let them deal with the leftovers. We just would not have blown it up while it was occupied unless it was absolutely necessary.

I don’t know what the US “would have done”. I know what they have done. Even when not absolutely necessary.

Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, whose country is a leading supporter of Hamas and other fiercely anti-Israel terror groups, rants at Israel in a Hebrew-language tweet.

“The Zionist entity is lying to you,” he writes on the social media platform X. “The Zionist entity is helpless and confused right now, and without American support will be paralyzed within days.”
If we were to simplify things ... there are three Western Religions: Christianity, Islam and Judaism. The only significant difference between Christianity and Judaism is that Christianity believes the messiah has already arrived, Judaism is still waiting. Beyond that, differences relate to health and social order.

Once the Iranian Supreme Leader Ayalollah Khamenei conquers the Western religion that does not view Jesus as the messiah; Judaism, they will go after the religion that does view Jesus as messiah; Christianity. Eastern religions will be an easy conquer after quashing Western religions of Judaism, and possibly Christianity.

Fake news, as Trump said, does appear to be the problem.

It's as though Hamas cold-bloodedly conducted experiments in human nature. They killed parents to see how the children would react, they cooked babies to see how parents would react. They killed one child to see how the siblings and parents would interact. They incinerated the kindergarten and the bus driver committed suicide.

What Hamas did is worse than Mengele at Auschwitz. Over a period of several hours, they toyed with people to see how they would react in emotionally tormenting situations. They would select a child from one household to entice people in the next household to reveal where they are hidden, shooting them as they were discovered.
I'm amazed that so few people realize that the belief of a divine authorization and responsibility for the complete genocide of the "subhuman" Jewish people, added to the childhood indoctrination of absolute hatred, enables these monsters to be easily led to do these atrocities. A better life for their children is not their motivation. Source: Read the Hamas charter for starters

3 Ilyushin Il-76D Strategic Airlifters with the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations “SUM9121” “SUM9125” and “SUM9123” are currently Airborne from Moscow heading Southwest over Turkey with their Final Destination likely being Egypt; these Flights come following an Announcement this morning by the Russian Government that they would soon be Delivering at least 28 Tons of Humanitarian Aid to the Egyptian Red Crescent for the Gaza Strip.

The only Unusual Item about these Flights is that the Announcement by the Russian Government only mentioned 2 Il-76s not 3 and at least 1 of the Aircraft “SUM9121” does not appear to be heading towards Egypt at all, but instead West over Turkey.

I ask for forgiveness of my ignorance before I post my questions, but I really don't know...
1. Can you have dual citizenship and never visit one of the countries which you hold citizenship for?
2. How can someone with dual citizenship exit Gaza if they were forced from their homes and their paperwork was destroyed or lost?

Yes, you can have dual citizenship and never or rarely visit one of the countries for which you hold citizenship. In the U.S., though, it is different for permenant residents. Permanent residents of the U.S. who stay out of the U.S. for over 6 consecutive months risk losing their permanent resident status.

The U.S. does not require that its citizens relinquish/give up their citizenship with another country, although the U.S. doesn't recognize that citizenship. Some countries do require that you relinquish your citizenship in another country when you become one of their citizens.

With regard to dual citizens who live abroad or are travelling or work abroad, and have lost their passports, they only need to contact the State Department/Embassy to get a new passport and/or paperwork replaced. This happens all the time. So the U.S. State Department will help a U.S. citizen at their embassy abroad, and I imagine the same thing is done by the governments of the U.K., France, Germany, Canada, Australia, etc. These are services that embassies provide to their citizens around the world.

The U.S. Department of State advises that U.S. citizens register at the embassy of the country in which they are living, working or travelling abroad.

"we would have evacuated that housing complex" How? Even specialized, highly trained teams would have seen any type of ground entry in those circumstances, as suicidal. Impossible to clear the buildings, no ability to even order people to leave the area.

Israel's security cabinet says it will send Gazan workers in its territory back to enclave

Israel’s security cabinet announced Thursday that it would send workers from Gaza who are currently in Israeli territory back to the enclave and also cut funding to the Palestinian Authority that is designated for Gaza.

The statement did not detail how or when the workers would return to Gaza.

Prior to the Hamas attacks, thousands of Gazans had permits to cross into Israel and work, where they could earn significantly more money than they would in Gaza.
Israel is severing all contact with Gaza? That should make the people of Gaza happy. They are relieved of all humanitarian and political connections with Israel. Gaza soldiers need to learn that their job is to protect civilians, not to roast babies of civilians in ovens. It's probably too late for this generation in Gaza to understand life without hate, but there is hope for the next generation.

Media has made a fuss recently about "where are the Gaza employees in Israel". They will all be returned home, hopefully to the humanitarian zone. They will not have a job after returning to Gaza. Israel cannot trust anyone from Gaza anymore.

It was reported that Gaza workers in Israel provided detailed maps that enabled the October 7 massacres.

I hope that the Israeli military put the Gaza workers in Israel in front of a screen to watch the 43 minutes of hours long horror suffered by the people of Israel. People alive, at the end dead. Roasted babies, girls raped to death with broken pelvises. People of Gaza need to tell their father, mother and neighbour what they did to Israeli civilians with shame, not pride.

If the children in Gaza could have a happy childhood, without hate for people who have different beliefs, there is hope for the future.

Women of Gaza who teach their children kindness and respect deserve admiration.
