The day that Israel lays down it's arms and ability to defend themselves, will be the day that Israel ceases to exist.
RIP to the all of the innocents caught up in this.

Imo-- Hamas does not care about their own people, and I'm thinking even if Palestinians rose up to revolt and eject Hamas, the consequences could be death.

I have no doubt Iran was behind this horrific attack. Hamas does not have the intelligence and creativity to have created this type of attack.
Agreed.

Do you think that the preparation and training for this attack was done on Iranian soil ?
A lot of secrecy went into this attack !

Ridiculous pride of evil.

ETA: Intelligence appears to be the only thing more nonexistent within Hamas than human compassion.
They’ve gone full blown ISIS.

They are getting absolutely obliterated tonight. The bombs sound different too. Much more powerful
Is there a link for watching this online, thank you in advance.

The WSJ reported that some of the training took place in Beirut, and other locations, but the article is behind a pay wall and I haven't read it. It was posted on here when the WSJ broke the story.

I am so freaking disgusted.

And although I would never, ever watch; I hope these videos they are threatening are released so people can see just what these animals are capable of. Call me a nut but I don't trust our government/media to actually tell us the full and honest truth.

I'm surprised at the number of missiles HAMAS still has, and also amazed by the Iron Dome effectiveness.

Israel Bachar, Israel’s counsel general to the Pacific Southwest, called the attack the largest massacre of Jews since the Holocaust.

“In 1939, we couldn’t fight back, (but) in 2023, we can and we will,” he said, eliciting a standing ovation from the audience.

Amazingly, sickeningly, people ARE seeing what these animals are doing and they're STILL defending them.

It's mind boggling to me. Like I woke up on the wrong planet. I can't be the only one that feels like that, right?

How can she be allowed to keep her job working for the NHS
I’m not convinced who her employer is either from the article or from some further digging on LinkedIn. But if she is currently employed, I would imagine she would be suspended from duty pending investigation pretty pronto.

''Motorised hang-gliders and motorbikes were also involved, as between 800 and 1,000 armed men flooded out of Gaza to attack multiple sites.
These swarming tactics seem to have succeeded in overwhelming Israel's defences - at least for a while.
Such a range of activity would have led to chaos within Israel's command and control centres, already quiet on a Saturday morning which was also a religious holiday.

Some of the Hamas fighters targeted civilian communities while others targeted military outposts. There has been shock that these outposts were so lightly-defended that they could be overrun, with images posted of Israeli tanks in Hamas hands.''

''Israel's military and intelligence capability has long been rated as the best in the Middle East and one of the best in the world. But they may also have underestimated the abilities of their opponents.
The attacks have been compared to those of 9/11 in the US, when no-one had predicted that planes could be used as weapons. That was often called a "failure of imagination".
And a similar failure of imagination may also be one of the issues for Israel, leaving it unprepared for something so ambitious from its enemy.''

I think Iran has denied any assistance to Hamas/Palestinians , either in planning or carrying out this attack ?
Not that I'm believing that Iran is being truthful at this time.
Call me skeptical.

Iran's UN mission says Tehran not involved in Hamas attacks
Iran has made no secret of its backing for Hamas,
funding and arming the group and another Palestinian militant organization Islamic Jihad.
"We emphatically stand in unflinching support of Palestine; however, we are not involved in Palestine's response, as it is taken solely by Palestine itself," Iran's U.N. mission said.

Emphasis mine.

Well alrighty then.
They admit to providing $$ and weapons.... but are taking no responsibility for any actions, either by Hamas or the militant Islamic Jihad.
It's like saying something without saying it directly.
Also sensing some arrogance here on the part of Iran as well ?

Kidnapped with babies and their grandparents

A woman was seen being kidnapped with her children as horrified onlookers screamed: 'She has a baby.'

The mother was later identified as Shiri who was taken with her husband, Yarden, sons Ariel,
three, and nine-month-old Kfir, as well as her elderly parents Yossi and Margit. They were believed to have been snatched from Shiri's home in Nir Oz on the border with Gaza.

The vulnerable grandmother was said to be 'sick' and in need of her medication.
Emphasis mine.

Just how do they think anyone wants to join their cause by treating people like this ?
Sick.
Omo.

Israel is likely to begin a huge ground invasion of Gaza from tonight. It has asked Israeli citizens to stay in safe homes at least for the next 72 hours.
