GUILTY Italy - British Model Kidnapped, Allegedly For Online Auction, Milan, July 2017

The kidnapping of a British model in Italy may have been faked as a publicity stunt, a lawyer for one of the men suspected of carrying it out has told a court.

The claim was made on Monday during extradition proceedings against Michal Herba, who is wanted by Milanese authorities in relation to the allegations. His brother, Lukasz Herba, is in custody in Italy.

“There is a real risk that the entire case is a sham,” Michal Herba’s lawyer told Westminster magistrates court on Monday. During the hearing, George Hepburne Scott called into question the reliability of the model, Chloe Ayling.

“The same complainant, it seems, generated publicity from the fact she was nearby the scene of a terrorist attack at the Champs Élysées in Paris,” he said. He also referred to claims that her alleged kidnapper in Italy had tried to tip off British newspapers.

Furthermore, Herba’s lawyer told the court about claims that the 20-year-old model and her captor went shopping for shoes, calling it a “wholly anomalous feature of a hostage situation”.

I'm trying to keep an open mind on this. Not really sure what to think.

Since the moment I saw CA parading and smiling in her mums garden I've thought it was a fake kidnapping but if this guy is fighting his extradition it would have been better for him to provide some real evidence of the scam being cooked up. An email or details from texts would be a big help in proving the lie.

She's just digging an even bigger hole for herself here.

I just watched the video of Piers ripping into her. I am not a body language expert but am quite interested how she acts out her story with actions - is this what liars do to make the story appear true?

I can clearly see a Duck walking all through this story.

Yeah true and publicity for her model career whatever next a reality tv show! why any kidnapper take pity on you because you got a kid grow a conscience and return her to the embassy if she was taken for sex trafficking then surly they would see that through if she is telling the truth she is one lucky girl because she got of lightly compared to other cases

[QUOTEAs the trial opened, one officer described how Ms Ayling suffered "physical violence including being drugged, handcuffed and brutally transported inside a suitcase".

]
Accused:

Interesting though she herself did not mention much of any physical abuse in the media or on any TV interviews all she mention in the suitcase when she came round after being drugged she released she was handcuffed and gagged which at one point she removes the tape from her mouth and the van made a few stops and which she ask her captor what is happening where they taking her etc before they arrived at that place where they kept her - according to the Dr Phil interview

Plenty of publicity. She has been on numerous talk shows since this began.

She probably got a lot of that since last summer now but do you forever want to be known as the model who faked a kidnap? It is a big risk I hope for her sake this all is not fake but most of this her story don't add up
