Nov. 11, 2021 Update: Last week, Belling's Italian lawyer Luigi Conti told the Irish Independent that the trial will begin on Thursday, Nov. 18, 2021 & the first day of proceedings will involve “acceptance of their respective witnesses”. He will present the list of defense witnesses on behalf of the parties, including "Belling's friends & family members." Behring has repeatedly denied that he killed his wife.No info yet available.

The news on October 1 was that trial was postponed until October 26.
After that, the trial was postponed to November 18. After that, there is nothing. It is unknown if the trial started. IMO you are updating a fata morgana.

LOL! You noticed that too. I have NO frickin' idea if this trial is going on. I've googled it to death but not coming up with anything new. And yes, I did notice that trial was postponed on 26/10 & restarted to 18/11/21 - that's the last I heard too.

Problem is that the video is available only in Italian.

Other than Chi l'ha Visto, most Italian MSM make mistakes in the facts of MP or cold cases. Not in bad faith, but because these types of cases are not their specialty.
Like MP age completely wrong (the family says 45, the article writes 40. Which doesn't help even citizen search.) Or city is right but province is wrong, which makes a complete mess, while region is right (city in Toscana, but the village is written in Grossetto province when the actual province is Firenze. Or they write Udine province when the village is actually in Gorizia province, both are in Friuli).
Or distances are wrong (20km and 45km is quite a difference).

This probably won't fit your format, Niner. You'll be excused....

One would expect him to be there, even more so for the verdict and the sentencing. But who knows, perhaps they'll send him a whatsapp....

Very, very strange. Most of the evidence is highly circumstantial, part of it is based on the absence of evidence, so the strategy of the prosecution should be to bring it all together in a compelling way, and not spread it like they do. Maybe it's a matter of planning and there are no other options, but still.

The Irish Independent was following the case and posting on twitter, but even they seem to have given up.
