You are sound asleep when you hear a sound that causes you to jump out of bed. A curdling scream comes from down the hall. Still half asleep you weakly run to the direction of movement coming from your daughters room. There you see your wife cradling your half naked daughter in her arms and your son is standing there shaking with clenched fists and his longjohns are off. You are hoping you are having a bad dream but the pounding of your heart tells you that your son has just murdered your daughter.

Wake up! Wake up! Think, think, think!!! My son is going to prison. No no no!!! OMG!!!

What are you going to do?...

Exactly what was done. Interestingly, have you noticed the strange interviews Burke did with Dr Phil? Smiling inappropriately? A sure sign of some sort of mental illness. As a retired Psychiatric RN I have seen it time and time again.

People were talking about what he did with his poop when he was six. I mean, really, anyone would be trying not to laugh.

Odd how people think that anything that pops into their heads is what actually happened.

My stomach still aches when I think that child was in that house dead for close to twelve hours before being formally found. And JR was missing for about an hour and a half. Then, when instructed to search the house again, goes straight to the wine cellar with his friend. Odd!
If I was PR and my child was missing, you couldn't stop me from checking every room, under the bed, in the closets, everywhere. It would have looked like a tornado went thru my house. If I did it for my missing cat, just imagine a child. Oh! she was in the top dresser drawer giving birth. I had pushed it closed not realizing she was in there.

I did it to my cat twice, once getting linens from linen drawer and then she got in underwear drawer! She is just too noisy and goes everywhere with me. I felt horrible. Now double
checking every time :)

Interesting way of thinking of the scenario! This really put things into perspective for me.

They say the knots were slip knots so I did a little searching and someone had already searched it out. Burke was trained in knots!
I wonder where the idea came from for using a garrote. Was it used in a movie back in 1996? I think the idea for a ransom note came from a movie. There is no such thing as a perfect murder. We got to find the mistakes. Think!

Ok, My detective friends....
There's a picture of JBR in her mother's arms wearing pjs that she went to bed in? Allegedly. Is this photo correct? Is it the last photo taken of JBR hours before her death? Or just another family photo?

Is it plausible that Burke hid his friend in the house to play with his Christmas toys; and later that night the friend killed JBR. Burke lets the friend out. The parents think Burke did it. Burke keeps his secret for fear this guy will kill him?

Not buying the "Burke dunnit" theory; the garrote and c. evidence adult sexplay. Not necessary to add other steps into the process; that's already been done with the note. Follow Occam's razor.

Does anyone know about the photo I am referring too here? Is this the last photo of JBR?

Dear thedutchesbell,

The photo you attached was taken Christmas Morning 1996. For many years it was believed to be the last ever photo taken of Jonbenet (alive).

In 2019 John Ramsey released another photo for a documentary. This photo (see attachment) was taken Christmas Evening at the Whites' party - it is currently the last ever photo taken of Jonbenet (alive) that has been released to the public.

Kind regards,
Jim

You are a millionaire and money is no object. Your going to call someone who can make things disappear and clean things up.

"The Cleaner."

Looks to be Patsy is grabbing JB pretty hard in that photo. My daughter is 5 and half and we do not have to hold her that tight for a photo. When she was 4 maybe, but at 5 or 6 it is not needed.

Burke was trained in knots!

Are you saying that John would have been physically incapable of tying knots, yes or no?

I wonder where the idea came from for using a garrote. Was it used in a movie back in 1996?<snip>

It had been used in the Philippines as a primary means of execution. John would have been taught about that country's history when he was stationed there.

thedutchessbell,
Its not a murder though, its a staged homicide.

The addition of the garrote is to create dramatic effect, a visual sign of death.

Patsy applied the garrote, fibers from her clothing are embedded in the ligature knotting.

There can be other reasons he smiles in “inappropriate” spots, he was on film, it could be he was nervous, he could be smiling to give himself better face, to show the world he’s not a monster, or as you suggest there could be a psychological aspect and that’s where I present that maybe he has undiagnosed autism this would explain a lot of things in past Interviews that most see as suspicious as just a autistic boy who could cope with the death of his sister. Even if he did have autism there’s no concrete way to tell if he did kill his sister.
