…..still looking for James Oliver Williams who disappeared 15 days ago and are hoping that a Florida Purple Alert issued last week will increase the chances of finding him.

…..suffers from depression and does not have his medication.

…..
report filed by Stanley Williams, his son was last seen at Daytona International Speedway, where he worked, on July 23.

At the time, the head of security at the Speedway said James Williams appeared to be disoriented, but he did not mention it to law enforcement, the report stated.

If James appeared disoriented when the head of security saw him, why would the head of security, of all people, not mention that to LE???? Plus the fact that the last known sighting was at DIS, his work place. Totally suspect. JMO

Sad news. He was found deceased.

he body found near Halifax Health Medical Center was confirmed as that of James Oliver Williams, who had been missing since last month, according to a press release from Daytona Beach Police on Friday.

Williams’ body was found on Aug. 11 in the woods on the south side of Clyde Morris Boulevard behind an employee parking lot, according to an email from Daytona Beach Police Sgt. Tim Ehrenkaufer.

Police were unable to identify the body at that time due to its condition, he wrote.

The body was transported to the medical examiner’s office for an autopsy and identification.

Williams, who lived in Daytona Beach, was positively identified through dental records, police stated.

“Mr. Williams' death appears to be from natural causes and no foul play is suspected,” Ehrenkaufer wrote.

His next of kin has been notified.

Rest in peace, James. :(

That is interesting that there is no foul play and assumed natural causes. The disorientation the head security guy saw could have been from a stroke. It's too bad that this man received no intervention from anyone when he was struggling. He could be alive, he was only 50 years old! RIP James. I'm so sorry someone saw something but said nothing. What a shame.
