JACKSON, Ky. (LEX 18) — Breathitt County Coroner Hargis Epperson has confirmed that the body of a "young person" has been located on Canoe Road in Jackson.

The body is being transported to Frankfort for positive identification and autopsy, and no official identification will be reported until the examination is complete.

However, multiple sources, including two relatives, have confirmed that the body belongs to 10-year-old Jayden Spicer.

Canoe Road is where his grandmother is buried.
IMO.

Not from that area, but it looks ~13 miles from start of Panbowl Branch Road to where it meets Canoe Road. Maybe ~10 miles as the crow flies (you’d have to bushwhack to do this). Canoe Road is a really long road, so it could be much further.

Whoever took him there meant for him to never be found.
Guilt must have weighed heavily on her and whomever else may have known.
Lying to the police and tampering with a body would be possible charges.

That sweet little boy. Jayden Spicer, age 10. I remember when my little guy was 10. That is the cutest age for a little boy! So precious.

I don't care how "high energy" he was. It's called you brought this beautiful little boy into this world, and it was your job to keep him safe and show him what love looks like.

And if you can't do that, then it's your job to get him into the hands of someone who can, even if that means contacting CPS and giving him up to foster parents and of course keeping him safe until the help actually comes.

Saw this coming from a mile away and, although I try to see the good in everyone, this evening I have hate in my heart. I'm so angry. As a boy mama x 3, I don't care how "high energy" he was. Why don't people who aren't fit to be parents use birth control? I will go to my grave not understanding why. O.K. Edited to add: My comment is very harsh. What I should have posted was why don't they willingly give up these children -- no matter what age the children are -- for adoption? There are so many people "out there" who would love to give a wonderful life to an unwanted and unappreciated child! {I apologize, but my anger got in the way. I am still a strong proponent of birth control.}
