You know right now at any given high school there are teenagers wearing PJ pants like they are actual pants. LOL I have one of them and as I drop her off at school and look around there are teens everywhere wearing plaid PJ pants.![]()
Okay, so maybe he would feel comfortable with Sonic jammies outside the house. My kids would totally leave the house in pjs at that age.
We don’t know that he ventured out in the dark. It could be early in the morning with sunrise.Okay, so maybe he would feel comfortable with Sonic jammies outside the house.
(My kids would not have at age 10 - not until they started wearing more "loungewear" type clothes to bed, like t-shirt, sweatshirt, etc.)
Would a 10yo feel comfortable venturing outside in the dark? I'm thinking no, but perhaps parents have different perspective on that too.

My 10 yr grandson does some unpredictable things. Dark at his house in his yard ? No problem. Dark in his room ,he crys like a baby that he is afraid of the dark.Okay, so maybe he would feel comfortable with Sonic jammies outside the house.

It's weird for sure. It literally looks like a child wrote it, with the big printed words, double-spaced, in pencil, like it's a 5th grade school assignment. It's also weird that she spells his name with a lower case j a couple of times, like a kid would. I'm not implying any of this means anything whatsoever, it's just bizarre to me to see an adult write a note like this, idk.Am I the only one who feels strange over the letter?
In the video you shared, am I correct in assuming they showed the boy's home? It was brief but I saw a mobile home with a lot of accumulated items on the porch.“Any time you are dealing with a missing individual, it is a tragedy. But when it's a 10-year-old child, that completely changes the dynamic of it," KSP Trooper Matt Gayheart said.
KSP, Breathitt County Emergency Management, and local rescue teams have been searching for Spicer since Wednesday morning. Authorities say the search will be expanded on Friday.
"In this situation, we want to keep hope alive, but we are racing against the clock," Trooper Gayheart said.
Officials emphasize that the mountainous terrain and several bodies of water in the area, including Panbowl Lake, make the search particularly challenging.
"The more time he spends outside in the elements, unfortunately, statistically speaking, the chances of finding him safely diminish," the trooper explained.

Crews are combing a 20-mile radius around Spicer's home, with plans to expand the search area tomorrow.

Bingo.I agree with everything you've said. I'm wondering the same thing, and, if today was his first day of school why would she wait to wake him? I personally can't imagine not checking on my children for that many hours.
