JBR, PR and UMI

Going back a bit to answer Hawkeye's question: We don't KNOW that the My Twinn was dressed in a pageant dress and tiara...I'm wondering if it was and if it was the same dress JBR wound up being buried in. It goes to this underlying, recurring theme of the mother wanting the daughter to dress like her and the mother commissioning a doll to look like the daughter. A doll can be made to be "perfect," or so a mother would hope. And the perfect doll is an extension of the "perfect" daughter, and thus, by extension, the mother is "perfect" also.

But then when the daughter sees the doll as less than "perfect," the mother is sorely disappointed. Is the doll so perfect in the eyes of the mother that she recreates the doll in the person of her dead child?

All this goes to psychological profiling, not motive per se. But motives are oftentimes made up of bits and pieces of psychological profiles which come crashing together to form one major, irreversible, disaster.

I didn't want to quote the photos, Eileen, but that is the photo that I find so distasteful. It looks even worse in black and white.
In the photo of JB and Patsy, JB looks scared to me. Patsy looks worried and JB looks scared. Weird. And, is it just me or does Burke have make-up on in these photos? Why does anyone have to debate whether or not this family was dysfunctional? Their friends knew it, their family had to know it and pretty much everyone else can at least see that. Except for a very few who seem to have a lot riding on the Ramseys being the "perfect" family.

Those photos make me think of the Addams family photo album...just a weird vibe going on all over the place. (And yes, I think Burke has on lipstick!)

Okay....whenever I look at pics with JB I have this weird feeling that.....her nose is not the same....pls pay attention.......
it got me thinking about the "BR hit her in the face" episode......
what if this wasn't true?
what if PR got JB's nose fixed?

of course ,if so,she had no reasons to tell the truth.....you don't do that to a 6 years old
maybe this is one of the reasons they didn't want her medical records public?

ST also mentions in his book that JB had a therapist.
I know people are advised to see one before&after such a surgery (plastic)

Okay,what do you think?

Is this the one, Beck?

Looks like Patsy is gripping JonBenet's arm because she might be sliding down her leg... Patsy holding her up. Patsy looks like she scrubbed her face clean before coming downstairs.

Do you know when exactly the "BR hit her in the face" episode occurred?

Didn't know where to put this so here it goes....been reading about it on some sites and never heard about it before.....does anyone know anything about BR complaining to his mother "Am I fat" re all the attention JonBenet got ,compared to him?
is there a source for this?

Maddy,

Please forgive my intrusion in your discussion. I know a little about childrens plastic surgery. The only time a child can have a nose job would be for reconstruction, e.g, injury. They can't do nose jobs just because (please, I'm not trying to be argumentative). Her face wasn't done with growing and maturing, so most Surgeons wouldn't have done it. However, I can't say what money might have bought the R's.

told ya it's a crzay idea,it's just that it looks a bit different to me in some pics, maybe it's just a different angle,dunno.....
maybe it's far fetched but when it's about money a lot of docs forget about rules
something else.....what if she DID suffer from an injury and we weren't told?another episode just like the golf club one?who knows.

It's from an interview that Linda Wilcox did:

Yeah, sort of. It was absolutely adorable. It was a little elaborate but it was totally adorable. And she was showing it to me. It was her little easter dress, she was modeling it for me like little girls do. And, they mentioned they had paid like $90 for this dress. It was like this one-of-a-kind type thing. And they were talking about how Burke had mentioned, he had asked his mom that day, because she had worn it to Easter services and he had asked his mom, "Mom, am I fat?" And she's like, "No, why?" and he goes, "well, what's wrong with me, everybody's oohing and aahing over her?"

It wasn't crazy Maddy, when it comes to this case nothing is really crazy (LOL) and like I said, who knows what their money bought them. It could just be one of the reasons they didn't want others nosing (no pun intended) into the medical records. Its something to think about, it speaks of things going on that no one knew of or if they did were afraid to speak about. Good eye though, I mean I can see what your saying and it makes me think. Thanks for pointing it out.

And the turtleneck ...
Patsy's 1998 BPD Interview Excerpt

.[/QUOTE]

When Patsy is questioned about the red turtleneck, she changes the subject by commenting on the crown. She starts crying and has to "take a break". LE goofed on that one. They should have pressed her more on the red turtleneck but instead of wanting to explain why it was found balled up on the bathroom counter, Patsy fakes this distraught feeling. If JonBenet did not want to wear the red turtleneck...then why was it balled up? Did Patsy force it on JB while dressing her for the Christmas dinner, and JB took it off and placed the white gap shirt on? Or did Patsy place it on JB that Christmas night and then took it off during the confrontation with the bed wetting?

Steve Thomas "scenario" includes this comment:

Later, JonBenet awakened after wetting her bed, as indicated by the plastic sheets, the urine stains, the pullup diaper package hanging halfway out of a cabinet, and the balled up turtleneck found in the bathroom. I concluded that the little girl had worn the red turtleneck to bed, as her mother had originally said, and that it was stripped off when it got wet.
ITRMI ppb page 319

If Steve Thomas suggested that the red turtleneck got wet, then one has to assume he knew the results of the tests on it.

btw Agatha,
sorry for that argument we had the other day and for some of the stuff I said.....am an emotional wreck lately......
:truce: ?

I've always thought that turtleneck was a bigger deal then has been made of it. They argued over it. She she did not wear it to the party and yet it was balled up and I read wet. Did it have urin, or the foamy vomit from a head injury, or something else? Something missing to connect dots.
