"Jersey" and MW #2

What about walking through there during the day? Is it common?
On a nice day it is very common to see kids down playing in the creek or guys riding atv's in the woods. Not uncommon at all during the day. Not uncommon to find remnants in the morning of older kids hanging out there at night partying in one particular location of the park.

Virtually every yard is fenced. The trails in the woods don't lead to the river. The greenway goes most of the way through, but again it would be somebody INTIMATE with the area to get there. I am in no way saying it could not happen, because it could. It just had to be somebody (like Jersey or one who grew up in and around around those woods) VERY familiar with them. Not just somebody that took their kids to the edge of the woods to play in the creek or stuck to the trails. And we are talking doing all of this in the dark! Thee is no light back there.

Now that the foliage is off the trees it might be a good idea to go out and take a really good look in those wooded areas; it should be easier to navigate around.

But IIRC, one of his good friends lived right across the street from SB and Jersey was said to hang out there quite often. So imo, if he was staying across the street, he would have many chances to strike up a conversation.

If he was staying or hanging out across the street from you, and he rode his bike and walked everywhere, what are the chances that you might have met him then?
As far as I know we only have ONE person stating they dropped him off there ONE time. No telling what story he gave her. I personally know a person that lives next door to this 'supposed good friends' house and they have never seen him there. So I am going with that as he didn't hang there all that often if at all and if the next door neighbor didn't even see him, then it is very possible that he either didn't hang there or he didn't make friends with the neighbors as easily as one might think. Yes, he MIGHT have.

So would it be reasonable to think that possibly (likely?) Jersey and/or MW would hang out there during the day, possibly even party there at night?

Oh gosh, here's something I have never thought of. . .do the Irwins own an ATV, motorcycle or anything else like that?

Very possible. It is also very possible he is the very source of some of the items we have spotted there.

Not that I have ever seen. And atv's and motorcycles are OBVIOUS to us back there. And not at night back there. That would have neighbors calling the cops asap if anybody was riding atv's around back there at night.

Thanks. So it's safe to assume nobody was back there on something like an ATV that night. It's just when you brought up ATVs my mind went right to . . .wow! There's something that hasn't been considered at all. :waitasec:

Arraignment is a formal reading of a criminal complaint in the presence of the defendant to inform the defendant of the charges against him or her. In response to arraignment, the accused is expected to enter a plea. Acceptable pleas vary among jurisdictions, but they generally include "guilty", "not guilty", and the peremptory pleas (or pleas in bar) setting out reasons why a trial cannot proceed. Pleas of "nolo contendere" (no contest) and the "Alford plea" are allowed in some circumstances.

I wanted to add that since this case is confidential, and no other charges have been added like say by tomorrow, I will think he's made a plea deal to testify to what he knows in Lisa's case or another case. (I hope and feel it's Lisa's). Now they (LE) just have to prove it, whoever it might be against. Plus, if there is any foreign DNA and lot's of it found possibly during the last search warrant search, it hasn't even been 6 weeks yet and some test take way longer. Then again, I could be entirely wrong. Surprise!

I can't find open court cases for him in Platte or Clay other than this one but it could be part of a parole/probation violation that he's violated on those previous cases. They just have no new updates since a year or more ago.

Patience is not my strong point but when you wait years to see a child be found, I guess you must have a little. gah! Sad these perps are hiding their victims so well and shutting up so fast. I wonder how much pressure they live under? I would find it excruciating.

I am going to tell you this and I don't expect people to believe me and I figure there will be posts after posts about what does this "confidential" mean and analyzing it. I don't know why Vinelink would say confidential ....

But I can tell you what casenet tells me. The original case was 11CYCR03875. If you look in casenet, Tanko is now facing charge 11CYCR03875-01. It was issued on Nov. 15.

You know what the same charge with -01 added to it means in Missouri? It generally means a grand jury issued an indictment and that supersedes the original charge by a prosecutor. We know a grand jury was meeting around November 15 in Clay County because of the indictment of Father Ratigan and the diversion deal with Bishop Finn and the diocese.

In Jackson County, typically only murder charges and high profile cases like the Catholic Diocese are taken to the grand jury. I don't know what is typical in Clay County, which would have much less crime. But this is really much ado about nothing. You'll be able to follow the case as normal through 11CYCR03875-01.

I'll put this here, I've been gone from this case for about 10 days, needed a break from the madness.

Question, sorry if I missed it but to unconfuse me about something. The night BL went missing, Jeremy supposedly called 911 from a neighbors home across the street. (I thought that was reported)

The house Jeremy called from, is this the rental house Jersey used to stay at?

How long did Jeremy own the house BL went missing?

Thanks to those who can answer.

Peace

Pel

Jeremy Irwin used his work cell phone to call 911 about 4 a.m.

Despite all the detailed info, I don't get your point about Jersey or whatever about Lisa.

Plz dumb it down?

BBM, thanks. I was assuming all this erasing of the original docket and adding an -01 to the same case was something big and have felt he talked big time about his part. I have no qualms of who is guilty. I certainly only care that Lisa be found and the guilty punished severely.

Hey Peli! Hope you are keeping warm! Turkey day is coming! Have a good one! Jeremy has lived there at least 10 years as I see his ex also lived there according to court dockets plus Shane's statements or rumors...

The charge against Jersey isn't "confidential." The original charge by the prosecutor has been superseded by an indictment by a grand jury. The "confidential" doesn't mean he's working out a deal etc etc. I don't know why Vinelink says that. But I can tell you what casenet (which is Missouri's court record online system) tells me. It just means the prosecutor apparently took the case against Tanko to a grand jury who then "approved" the original charge.

ETA: Adding -01 doesn't mean anything "big." It's how the system works. The only thing I don't know is it typical to take property crimes to a grand jury in Clay County or did Dan White, prosecutor, treat this case differently because of the possible connection to Lisa Irwin. In Jackson County (the county I'm primarily familar with) a property crime case would not go to a grand jury but since Jackson County includes most of Kansas City, and KC has had 101 homicides so far this year, well it's not practical to use a grand jury for property crimes in Jackson County.

Smiles, thanks Doc...awaiting the BIG bird now Yesss...I hope you and yours are doing well, good to see you out here. Yes, I'm taking into consideration Jeremy lived there MUCH longer than Deb and probably has more local contacts than Deb. Just thinking out loud a bit. Happy Thanksgiving Doc...

According to everything I have heard, it was next door to SB's house.

Thanks IDM, been following your post awhile now, great hearing from a local and great info. So when you say next door, do you mean the next door neighbor phone security guy? Things that make you go hmmmm...

Yep, hmmmmmm.... And said phone security guy was not allowed home that very night.

So lemme see if I got this correct, the phone guys wife. Was she the one who was drinking with Deb on the front stoop?

Thanks IDM, has there been any connection between the phone guy and/or his wife to Jersey?
