"Jersey" and MW

Why couldn't they simply track her down by calling the number, or pulling the records for the phone?

Our gps saves places visited and makes a clicking sound... I wonder when this ad was placed? I sure hope before baby Lisa went missing....

Maybe it was a prepaid phone? With no name or address attached.. craigslist having the number would sure be a miraculous find and if that is true hats off to LE

If they had the number from DB's cell phone records, all they'd have to do is google the phone number and the craigslist ad would come up.

If there is this much staging, hopefully it means Lisa is alive. People only go to these lengths to stage a murder of a mob boss, not a 10 month old baby.

That is what I am thinking. My hopes that baby Lisa is alive, have increased after this very confusing info.
A balloon boy scenario appears to be more credible now.
Wonder if the parents got paid ( pictures) for their network interviews.
However, if so many folks are really involved, the truth will prevail.

Reporter on ground: MW included her number in Craig's list classified ad; he doesn't know why had to trace it that way

Sounds like MW cell phone had one of those cards in it that you can't track the # so easily. Seems FBI couldn't crack the # and luckily found it on Craigslist. Hard to believe FBI can't just track any phone #.

Please and thank you: who is Jersey?

I looked in Case Players, but he's not listed.

It's a nickname of a homeless handyman police have in custody on unrelated issues.

Her having an ad on craigslist sure lends to my theory that DB didn't know MW and DB just wrote down her number from the craigslist ad.

She called the number at 8:30 while she was outside drinking?

Just on NG with JVM, CS asked DB about this and she said that it isn't true.

She could've labeled herself as a guidette, and we'd all be thinking Snooki. FB labels mean very little, it's pop culture, IMHO.
umm... do you see her My Space page? Not sure i'd call that pop culture..:twocents: MOO

Well heck, I might as well put this thought into words: I haven't read or seen any video of the witnesses who claim to have seen the man walking and holding a baby say anything about the baby moving. When I first read about "a man walking and holding a baby, not dressed appropriately for the weather, late at night", I thought that maybe the baby was dead so it would not matter if the baby was dressed or covered with a blanket. I still don't know, but if it turns out to be true about the man carrying the baby; the baby being dead would explain a few things.

Great comment Lone. Babies cry when? Hungry, wet diaper, sleepy and of course when they are uncomfortable being too hot or too cold. This baby didn't cry. So it was either not cold or could not feel the cold cause it wasn't alive. God, I hate to even think of this.

just my O

Word. I used to have purple and blue hair. But I was already an ex-military officer and held one degree by then, and went on to get my second degree and am now a medical professional.

Yeah, and interestingly, if we lived in the UK, it would be totally normal to see a woman over 40 wearing brightly colored hair. It means nothing.

It seems like too many people and too long a time for a hoax to go undiscovered. Sound to me like a plan that went awry (custodial, i.e.) or a cover-up after a bad event. JMO

Jersey worked on that street and Megan has been seen with him on that street, per the neighbor on HLN. Debbie probably knows them both, and conspired with Megan to frame Jersey. MOO.

They probably took the phone number and did the easiest way in the world to track a phone number. Put it into Google or any other similar page and you will get hits of where it's been used, etc. I'm sure LE has something simpler, but this is the gist of it.

I have to give DB the benefit of the doubt on this one. If someone asked me if I called "Jenny Jones" I would say no, don't know anyone by that name, never called them, don't know who that is and would not be lying. But if you pulled my cell records and I had indeed called that number, I'd still deny it, I DON'T know a Jenny Jones, but I could have called that number inquiring about an ad on craigslist.

DB could have called MWs number about a GPS that was listed on CL and still hasn't realized that MW is the person she called regarding the CL ad.

But why? And why would Megan get involved with this?

If I'm understanding correctly the assumption is that Megan is inherently evil and wouldn't think twice before disposing of a baby. (I do not agree with this theory, but that is my understanding of the theory being presented).

Man oh man... who is the puppetmaster who could create such havoc in the space of 6 hours? (Yeah so I'm a conspracy buff...sue me lol)

I understand what you're saying. I may have not heard correctly but I took it to mean that DB denied that she wrote the number on her hand.

I would think though that on the night that her child disappeared she would have remembered calling someone to buy a GPS at 8:30 if asked about it. How many calls could she have made, especially from phones that were supposedly not even working. :waitasec:
