About that 6" long 1 1/2" diameter bendable, plastic, gray thingy...
Me thinks this isn't a body bug...it's a little long!
The body bug straps around the upper arm...wouldn't this look
a little funny on your arm?!

I thought the part extending out was the strap.

I envision that he was so shocked after being stabbed that he probably said nothing intelligible while she continued to stab and slash, slicing through the flesh on his hands and arms.

I believe he was screaming alright, but in fear for his life. He was dying and he knew it. His cries were likely loud, but unintelligible, much as she describes them in her intruder story lies.

This is why she was so vicious and quick. She needed to silence him, as she hastily stabbed him in the back and front of his torso. She ultimately did so -- finally and permanently -- with the throat slashing, in less than one minute after starting in the shower.

It may have gone down this way:

"I don't know, Honey. Take a look at this one. Do you want to keep it or delete it? Here, have a look..."

She slides back a little holding the camera toward him with her right hand. He reaches out to take the camera and she drops it as the knife comes out in her left hand, piercing directly into his chest before he has any idea what's happening.

He doesn't even have time to make sense of it. By the time he begins to reflexively get his hands and arms up in front of him, yelling in abject "mortal terror" as she puts it, she's already stabbing him, over and over again, unrelentingly.

He falls forward, perhaps even partially atop her as she claimed during the 'linebacker lunge' lie. He struggles to his feet and makes it to the sink. He sees in the mirror, to his horror, that he's bleeding from wounds to his chest, arms, hands, and alarmingly, his mouth.

He's coughing up blood from his lungs, still wondering who did this to him and why. Then he feels jarring blows from behind and realizes that Jodi is now plunging the knife into his back, repeatedly, both hands on the handle. But he's got to get away. He turns aside from the vanity and sinks to the floor in an attempt to escape.

He's not lying on the floor now; instead he's on all fours and focused on trying to crawl away from the murderess. But she keeps up her frenzied attack, stabbing and cutting him in the back of the head and base of the neck as he slide-crawls, both of them slipping in his blood as he slowly, ever so slowly, moves down the hall.

He's slowing still more now, but is yet alive and loudly moaning. They are at the end of the hall and just on the carpet. She grabs his hair with her right hand, yanks his head back and draws the knife across his throat, all the way to his spine. Instead of going limp and immediately dying, he's still moving slightly and she hears gurgling noises. Believing that the knife has failed her, and now frantically impatient, and/or wanting to portray a second intruder, she drops it and readies her grandfather's handgun. Just as Travis begins to collapse completely flat on the floor, she raises the gun with both hands as she described, and shoots him in the head. But in that instant, he was already dead.

She drags Travis's lifeless body back to the shower, where she had originally planned that he would die.

Oh, did I leave out the fog?

I think you are pretty close on this theory-good work

Only my thoughts! Please don't bash me!!! I'm ultra sensitive today. :blushing:

At one point JM asked her about the "old fashioned way" and JA said something like "Nevermind, I was wrong about that" or something like that, which struck me odd because when would she ever admit to being wrong?

UNLESS SHE WAS TRYING TO HIDE SOMETHING>>>>>>>>>>>>.

  • #1,004
Yes, but if things went wiggy, she might have thought someone may take down the license plate number if she had to make a quick get away. I dunno, I'm trying to get into the head of JA. :noooo:
She use to be at Travis's house all the time so the neighbor's knew her
car for sure (& the roommates).......

  • #1,005
Did anyone catch when JA said something about maybe she was wrong about the old fashioned shaving???? I thought it was strange that she would admit to being wrong about anything.

I think she did it because her car was as clean as could be at that point and she hoped that being stopped, LE would remember that there was nothing suspect (apart from the plates) about her car. I think it was part of her alibi.

moo

But why? She didn't need an alibi at that point. RB was with her.

Even after a page refresh?

I don't see any large graphics on page 39 of this thread, do you?

Guess that last refresh did it. And no, I didn't see any oversized graphics. It is okay now. ty

BBM- The only issue I have with this is some people can be easily swayed by public opionion "mob mentatility" and news reporters get it wrong sometimes in their reporting.

But the DT is allowed to promote their pedophilia 'idea' with no evidence of any kind... seems rather ironic that the jury is given this type of info in court - I don't see a heck of a lot of difference between what the DT is offering and erroneous news articles... hm...

  • #1,011
I agree with the wrong reporting. I've seen it reported that Travis was 6' tall and I believe he was only like 5'9''. I've also seen jodi reported at 5'4' and I think she said she was 5'5 1/2".

Our media sucks anymore IMO.

I was a witness in a murder trial about 10 years ago. The story got some news coverage, nothing at all like this o course. They got EVERYTHING wrong all the time.

Innuendo, speculation or rumor like: pedophilia? Abuse? Sexual deviance? The DT is absolutely asking the jury to deliberate on speculation rather than real evidence...

JA is on trial for her life and she HAS no real evidence supporting her claims to show the jury... she WANTS it this way. If she didn't, she wouldn't have provided/created these rumors and stories herself.

The difference is this is her defense. What she is putting forth to the jury as a defense in her case. Sadly people make things up. That does not mean the Good Guys should play by the bad guys rules. 2 wrongs don't make a right.

Every one gets a chance to defend themselves. The thing is when someone is trying to CONVICT you and put you to death, They can only use real evidence to do that.

I think you need a blade that has a point on it to penetrate skin, muscle, fat, large deep vein, and lung. Think of a scalpel. It has a very sharp tip, just like this knife did.

After five days it sure wouldn't still be wet. It's probably some kind of fluid dripped from the crime tech folks.

Thanks Kandy...see you have an Akita, yes?
They are the best! I have one too.

i'm canadian so i the only american court xp i have is watching law and order. i know there is a DA on that show that prosecutes for the state, what or how close is JM from this position if anyone knows? TIA

Why sequester anyone? Why keep secrets? What exactly are we supposed to be afraid of? There shouldn't even be an instruction to the jury to not watch the news or discuss the case. Aren't we supposed to believe they will be fair? I have heard so many jurors say "we weren't told so and so or we didn't know about this or that". Well whyis that? Innocent people are sent to prison. Guilty people walk the streets because the jury doesnt know everything and evidence is precluded. Bring everything to the open. Then we can have a great judicial system. Then there will be justice.

That sounds good in theory, but it gets really messy in practice. For example, what if one of the jurors visited another website, ehem...rhymes with Brodiareasisinicent, and comes back to the jury room and says, "Hey this guy Travis beat up some guy at Safeway and got convicted! He could have totally attacked her after that camera dropped!" Even though it eventually gets debunked, you might get a juror or two to buy into it (think O.J.). Anyway, the court has to be really careful about letting the jury hear anything that's not vetted for reliability and for things that are not too prejudicial. Otherwise, we may learn that JA's conviction was overturned because the appellate court bought that "The jury hated me because I stood on my head and sang songs, not because they proved I butchered my boyfriend." :twocents:

She did use a flash earlier, in the photos at 5:24:40, 5:24:52 and 5:24:56. I personally don't believe he was taking an actual shower, nor do I believe he was posing voluntarily.

I've been wondering that myself because for the life of me, I can't spot any soap, lather, shampoo, condition or any type of normal/basic toiletries in the shower stall.

I think Jodi had Travis at gunpoint the entire (shower) time. Not sure about the earlier naked photos or how that all played out but.....having the KY jelly smack in the middle of the bed where you supposedly just thrashed around, looks staged to me but.....the shower photos don't look right either.

I do agree it appears Jodi sneaked up on Travis (but, where is the soap? Shampoo? etc) because for a quasi professional photographer, the photos weren't centered nor were some captured at the right angle.

If only the dog, Napoleon, could talk!!

nothing suspect except for that strong odor of gas emanating from the trunk... right where the officer would be standing if he was looking at the upside down rear plate. is it legal to drive with 3 full gas cans in your trunk?

the whole plate thing doesn't make sense.

I tend to think it wasn't done as am alibi but by accident when putting the plates back on. Numbers on plates don't really look off at first glance if they're upside down. I know she had to get through the Hoover checkpoint but all they do is glance at what is inside your vehicle through the windows. It's not like a traffic stop.

I don't think he saw the slice across the neck coming. Did the ME say when in the sequence he believed that occurred? TIA

He said he was likely unconcious at that time and might even have been dead. It was before the gunshot since the throat slashing occurred in the hallway and the gunshot was back in the bathroom after Jodi dragged him back in there as th shell casing dropped on the bathroom floor on top of a pool of blood.

ME's testimony here...
