Your post just reminded me of a question that has been bugging me for a while. Did JA say something to the effect (in an interview) that she had 2 pair of those jeans with a zipper or did I imagine it? The latter is very possible :blushing:

IIRC she had two pair, one that didn't fit and one that did.

I am like you though, sometimes I think I know for sure something said and then JA would get back on the stand and say something totally different!

I have wondered if someone went along with her, maybe in another car, or maybe she met up with someone after she killed him, near nevada, or after utah, maybe that would explain all the excessive gas purchases after she killed him...I also have wondered if she had two phones...maybe she borrowed someone's, or had a track phone

And if you look at her journal writings they are the same from the 21st through to the 24th. If he broke her finger on her left hand why is there no difference in her writings. JM left this open. Good choice for the jury to consider during closing. jmo

As I recall, she said she had too. Because they were cheap. 1 had a zipper and wanted not I believe that's what she said.

Willmott's cross of Samuels was my first exposure to her. I didn't know it was possible for anyone to talk that fast. That gives me hope Juan will get a crack at Doc Love today.

also, during that week in January where Travis allegedly kicked her (not), she not only said nothing noteworthy happened, but she also talked about going skiing that coming weekend....she did say on cross that she didn't ski, but she said she might go for fun or take pictures....doubt she would do that if she just had her finger on her dominant hand broken

And just some more info on the Pasadena Starbucks area... it is located on one of the busiest streets in Pasadena. It's right across the street from the Arco where she filled up. Other shops in this area are Vroman's book store, Whole Foods grocery store, Chuck E. Cheese, a bank, Sears Department store, etc. It is not really where teens go to hang out. IMO

It's funny but I remember her on the stand talking about deleting the picture but of course, as a photographer she knew she wouldn't be able to completely erase them. She acted like she she always knew this but I am sure she only learned that after the pictures were able to be recovered. I am sure if she had that knowledge before hand the camera would never have been found, unless it is true that it was put in the washer by accident and she was unable to locate it in her haste to get out of dodge.

I think that she got Travis to sit down to review the pictures, and then stabbed him as he was trying to get up. (I can't help thinking her lies are laced with some truth.) Then they both wound up on floor, the true version of the "bodyslam."
As for the camera in the wash, I think she did what I do, made a pile for the wash and a pile to take with, and then stuck the camera in the wrong pile in her haste.
Just my 2 cents.

Judge Stephens is scheduled to rule today on whether Richard Samuels, Ph.D, barterer of psychological for dental services, will be allowed to testify regarding global transient amnesia and the distinction between expressive and instrumental homicides.

Said another way, will Sherry let Rick tell the jury that Jodi's murder of Travis was not premeditated -- evidence notwithstanding?

At one point in JA's testimony she mentioned she confided in her friend Rachel that she and TA had "gone too far" according to the church standards and Rachel told her to "drive straight to the bishop and confess and be sure to wear your seatbelt because if you die in a crash before you confess you will go to hell" or something like that. Maybe JA coaxed TA into sex on June 4th and then made sure to kill him before he could confess so in her mind he would go to hell. I think one of his friends (maybe Chris Hughes?) or his brothers wrote about this at one point.

WOW, just when I thought she couldn't be any more evil! This has a terrifyingly true "Jodi" ring to it. How diabolical!

another thought I had pertains to a point made here the other day about the length of time it took her to get from Redding to Lodi McDonalds (those two locations are not 7+ hours apart) ...maybe she met up with someone to practice shooting the gun...or maybe she did this when she was with MM
