Jodi is gonna have a lot of explaining to do when those juror questions fill up that basket (and after Juan has a crack at her)

The premeditation evidence is overwhelming. And the overkill.. the pictures of his throat.

I predict that she will have "blame it on someone else" statement for everything she says.

I think this is going to hideously backfire on her and I will watch every second of it just to bear witness to this nightmare that Travis' family and friends have had to go thru.

Katie,
Thank you for speaking the truth. I'm getting this weird vibe that they may not have treated you right??? You've got a wonderful following to help you if you need anything.
I'm proud to "know" you my friend.

I've been okay and all set for LWOP, but I feel more like the DP after today. I'm pretty sure she'd hardly notice if we keep her talking while we get a needle ready. She's coming across like the kind of scum you find in the shower when you thought you cleaned it away.

Casey must be pissed. She is old news and will never come close to creepy Jodi Arais.

So does anyone else have experience with this kind of crazy?
Where they kind of make you give up questioning them after they just bury in nonsensical BS?
It's very... fascinating.

Yes, but I am hesitant to bring up what I think. But here goes.

I know a female who was 18 when I met her. Homeless. Living in a car. Pregnant.

She was adopted as an infant by wealthy parents.

Here is what one of her main complaints was about her incredibly cruel parents. Get ready with Jodi hankies, which never get wet.

Her parents never taught her how to cook, clean, nor do laundry. She had no clue of what to do now that she was going to get an apartment.

She , too, was an exchange student in another country learning Spanish while in high school

I spent time with her, but she was not on my case load. Rather, she was with the co worker and we would do things together with the families we worked with, so I would see her in action.

I won't go into it, but I was fascinated by her lack of human understanding.

I think in her case it was probably an attachment thing at birth. Could be with JA as well. Close in age children. Not enough time to give to JA.

Doesn't matter except that we do know what makes children thrive and we do know what things are harmful. Does not excuse her, but that is why there is information out there on holding your child; do not prop a bottle on a pillow to feed your child; respond to your infant's cries; do not keep them in containers. Car seats, infant seats, play pens, etc.

Other things as well such as reading to your child.

I have to throw these things in because I do not want to see all of the killings, abuse, etc that we see out there.

All humans crave love and validation. All.

I secretly wonder if she will admit to stealing her grandparent's gun

I hope Juan asks her why 25 cal ammo was found at her mother's house shortly after her mother visited her before her arrest (when she was trying to drive off ala Scott Peterson with a gun hidden in her car and knives in a box).

(this is all in the investigative report linked in Tigerbalm's post under the OP)

It was hard to listen to Jodi on the stand today... I think I'll tune in again when the cross examination starts. Any one have a sense of when that will start?

I think that it will be interesting when Jodi answers juror questions because although she is a good actress and can prepare statements well, I don't think she will do very good off the cuff answering those questions. Remember all the mistakes she made when talking to Flores? She's gonna be caught in a lot more lies by them and then when Juan questions her....OMG...that is going to be unbelievably wonderful!

Speaking of bangs, Jodi will have plenty of time to grow her bangs out! I think she should have kept her hair all one length and had a soft, wispy updo for her testimony. This school girl look is too contrived.

I'm just thankful that the $!&(# didn't start up with "O Holy Night." <gag>

I am inclined to agree with Katie. Not many do receive it.

MOO

Yeah but we are "down" one thanks to Casey Anthony, so "they" owe us this!!! Am I Right? Shhhhh you didn't hear that from me.

Jurors questions are going to take a full day lol

Yeah, well, I hope they don't have more questions about Bobby or Victor. :please: Matt's the only one who isn't going to turn mean because he might still come in handy for seeing bruises, but I think that lie got axed.

Victims usually don't drive a thousand miles out of their way to "just drop in and say 'hi'."

Actually I've heard of both men and women driving hundreds of miles to meet up with people they've only chatted with on the internet only to end up becoming victims. Which IMO is nuts.

This is role-playing for her since she knows what questions her attorney will ask. She is totally prepared. Martinez will be a different matter and yes, the jury questions even worse.

Bring it on!
