True, but she is not talking specifically about the day of the murder yet. I will be curious if they ask questions on the day she says he tried to kill her and she was defending herself.

This "Victor Arias" name intrigued me from the get-go. I think it was Jodi's name for their first born son -- "Victor Arias Alexander." Absolutely, I do. She had it all planned out. The fruit of their eternal and perfeck (yes, perfeck) love....Shhhh...listen, chirren.... little tinkling bells, a soft sound of a chirren's choir in the background... Jodi & Travis walking together with their 6 chirren, birds chirping, ahhhhh. Can't you just see it?

Travis told her it was over, over, OVER, and she was mad as he!!, so she just gave it to him that day, over and over and OVER again. "Nobody does this to ME! Nobody!" Murdering MANipulator. Grrrrrr. Just makes my blood boil, listening to her total b-s on the stand in a court of law. And our prosecutor is just licking his chops like a hungry wolf.

Does he believe all the sad stories? I've seen sad stories work their magic on all kinds of talent shows lately. My dog died, I can't sing, but send me to Hollywood. The Prosecution will not be about that, I trust Juan.

Oh no, hubby has her number lol. His reaction after her explanation of the "no jury will convict me" statement? "Oh, she's just priceless".

He is just worried about the poor, pitiful Jodi act/appearance, and the effect it may have on the would-be white knights who may be sitting up there. As far as Juan, I absolutely trust him, he's brilliant. I have Wednesday off so I'm hoping that cross starts then

That was Bobby, not Victor. Victor is the one from Costa Rica. I believe they're both alive.

I have a headache. Maybe that's what they're trying to do, throw all sorts of confusing nonsense out there and make the jury go bunkers.

She doesnt have the emotions to be afraid. You can tell that how she has the same affect no matter what she is saying as she drones on forever about nothings.

I'll accept that they believe it. I just don't see HOW they could because they both had to make it through law school and pass the bar so both are presumably very intelligent.

I believe she testified that Bobby slit his wrists in an attempt at suicide, but did not succeed. In fact, she went on to later date him again.
Victor lived in Costa Rica, and she just bonked him for 3 weeks at his house (host family), then for 2 more while he stayed at her "abusive" home.
He is still alive as far as we know - if he indeed exists.

Well they can believe her story, but that doesn't make it true!

Her lawyers can also pretend to believe her story. Deep down, I am pretty sure they know she is BS her way through it. They just are careful when they talk with her to let her know that she cannot tell them it is a lie directly. I am sure there were plenty of wink/winks going on between them.

Oh! and for any of the lawyers: I've seen some of the talking heads say that if JA is lying her lawyers won't ask her questions. That they would just let her get on the stand and talk, pretty much just sit down and let her go at it. Since they are asking her questions, do you think they believe she's telling the truth? Or are they doing some sort of misconduct? (I can't remember why the TH said they couldn't ask questions if they knew she was lying)

I don't think they're committing misconduct, and they do not have to believe her. If Jodi were to tell them -- Hey lawyers, there's really no ex boyfriend named Bobby or Victor, but I'm going to make up stories and testify about them to help my case. Well.. then the lawyers would have to inform the judge if Jodi did then testify in that manner, and to do otherwise would be misconduct.
